Kitisho-dog « Thread Started on Nov 6, 2009, 7:41pm »
Sorry for being absent for so long^^ I am trying to start again, and this time with one of my own characters
.. do I need to paste that thingy with the rules here though I had joined and already own a different character for a long time, I just haven't been active?
Name: Kitisho
Gender:male
Race:dog
Sub-Race: n/a
Breed: Tazi and Aidi hybrid
Appearance: Like many African dog breeds, Kitisho has a body built for speed. His legs are long, supporting his rather thin and lengthy body. His body starts at a more or less narrow chest, with a belly that steeply rises towards the rear, and a back that arches a bit. However, due to his mother's genes, his head is not the typical pinched look. His muzzle is rather broad and wide, not long and skinny. His head's shape is rather round, with enough fur to give it a rather fat look. His ears are a cross between his mother's and father's, as he has his mother's fur, but his ears are the same length as his dads, short but floppy. Kitisho's fur is rather on the short side, yet it still manages to be messy. This is probably due to all the burrs and twigs that get stuck inside his pelt. Speaking of his pelt, Kitisho's fur coloring consists of three colors, black, white, and brown. He has two large khaki brown spots on his sides --one on each-- as well as a darker brown on at the base of his tail. The top of his head is black, though his muzzle and neck remain white. Adorned on Kitisho's neck resides a simple brown leather collar. This collar was given to him by his owners, and though it itches and chafts his neck, he always wears it. The main reason is simply that he has yet to find how to take it off. To add to the torment of this collar, it has these annoying tags on them, which clink and clank together when he walks, announcing his presence like ringing bells.
Personality: Kitisho is a rather funny character. he is prone to say stuff out of the blue. At first impressions, it is rather easy to assume he had been dropped on the head one too many times as a pup, as he does not ... get things very easily. However, that is not to say Kitisho doesn't have his smart moments, if you listen to what he has to say, you might find him saying something helpfull every once in a while. Kitisho is rather laid back in what he does. His motto is pretty much ''why work harder when you don't need to?''. Though he can be hyper, and likes to run just about anywhere, he is rather lazy when it comes to actual work. He'll do anything to avoid even the simplest of jobs. however, not all is lost, just make the job seem more like a game, and Kitisho would be jumping to play. Though Kitisho may seem the simple minded type, do not underestimate his mind too much. His memory is actually excellent, if he chooses to think, or recall his memories. His sense of direction is good enough that one doesn't need to worry about him getting lost. Almost as a hand and hand trait with this, Kitisho is almost constantly out and about. He spends rarely a full day inside the village, and tends to hang out more in the forest areas.
Magic: Kitisho has the element of air
-Spells: -Kitisho can make himself run faster, by merely creating a powerfull --and small-- drift of wind directly behind him.
-he can create a strong gust of wind that is both small and short lived. --it wont be powerful enough for a tornado, but strong enough that papper will need to be held down--
-he can fly!
-he can stop a small wind draft, though this is hard and so he never does this
-he can change the direction of an already there draft, though like stopping it, it is hard to control, and seen as too much work for him
-he can alter the shapes of clouds, mostly by both creating and changing directions of the wind. --though this in itself is harder then changing the direction of the wind, he views it as a fun game--
-lastly, he can control the speed of the wind, -he can make it speed up or slow down-- however, this too is too much work.
Skills: Kitisho is a good runner, a born runner actually. He is also good at memorization and that's about it.
Biography: Kitisho was born to a female Tazi and a male Aidi. being a mutt, neither owner's of his parents wanted to keep him. instead, kitisho was taken to the shelter just a few days after he was weened. It was the fact he had been a puppy that helped him get out quicker. Almost less then a week, Kitisho was adopted as a birthday present for a seven year old boy and life was good. Kitisho grew up like the average pup, begging for scraps and extra food, chewing threw furniture, hiding shoes, and seeing new things. His owner didn't waste time in trying to teach him tricks, like not pooping or peeing inside, laydown, shake, rollover, and sit. As he grew older, he learned much more tricks, such as sit, sit pretty, stand, high five, stay, track, hunt, come, drop that, play dead, and a lot of other pointless cute things you might teach a dog. Kitisho never changed owners, he still lives with the boy, though it has been three years. his life had been pretty boring, and will be pointless to tell.
