Druins
Druins are a restricted species, which means they cannot be created anymore due to the height rule. If you want a Druin, find the third post entitled 'How To Get a Druin or Drunin' in order to learn how to get one. Drunins are free for anyone to create without my permission, just be sure to read up on their information I've provided on the second post.
Druins are copyright to me, Aveilthé. All graphics on this board are copyright to me unless stated otherwise.
Massive demon wolves that could grow up to be a whopping ten-foot monster, Druins throughout history have been feared and prejudiced against. However, they are a very misunderstood breed and have since evolved into one of the most intelligent of species. Each individual Druin varies in personality, appearance, and strength.
History: Our story begins about 5,000 years ago in the land of Demons. There, Druins were carefully bred to become giant super-demons, born into slavery, and forced to fight the demon wars. Many Druins that were born in this time may still live today, but most have already died out and could no longer reveal the horrid stories of the past. Even the memories of the elderly may have been willingly forgotten also, for it is difficult to recount the painful experience of slavery. Back then, the Demon wolves were a proud and vain race, wanting to prove their worth by going through the farthest reaches of the earth, conquering any territory that stood in their way. One by one, the Demons annihilated families and took over the known worlds, save for a few stubborn and powerful wolf nations. That is when the Demons countered these powerful enemies by creating the first Druin, and from it, bred more Druins. They created so many of these dumb, brainless giants that they eventually used them for not only difficult tasks of building the demon kingdom, but being first in line in battle and charging through territories like massive freight trains. The Druins then became feared by the world, for they were never before seen, these strange, wild, and powerful abominations. But it only took one to learn that the Demon wolves were using them for terrible things, so the one Druin started a revolt. Soon, hundreds of Druins, now smart and docile, begun a revolution that lead them to thwart their masters and start life anew. Time, though slow but willful, allowed most Druins to learn to accept the differences of the world. Yet the world of wolves were still prejudice against them, so sadly, the Druins kept to their own for a time. And when there is prejudice, there is hate and war. Druins are not new to war, and many have fought in so many bloody battles--in time, most have forgotten what they were fighting for, and have learned to hate the world that hated them first.
Age: Similar to humanoid elves, Druins can live for many thousands of years if they keep healthy. Eventually, they do begin to die. The most a Druin has lived was up to at least 3,000 years--that is three millenniums of watching the world shift and change! But, the law of mortality is not against them. Druins can be killed by illnesses, murder, ect,... if they jump off a cliff, their end would be a nasty splat on the ground, resulting in instant death--unless the Druin has the ability to fly! Druins age extremely slowly. At birth, they are almost helpless, like a human child. They are surprisingly adorable, and contain a lot of baby fat for the first few weeks. They rely on their parents to support them until they reach 8 months, then they start to learn how to talk (not well) and chew on tougher food. They will suckle for up to about a year, unless the mother wishes to wean her children early (but it is not desired). 2-10 years is the most critical period, for Druins begin to learn about the world (and hunting). They become young adults at around 20-40 years. at this point, they are mature, but it is not recommended to have pups at this age. A Druin is considered a full-fledged mature adult when they are 50-100 years old. 500-1500 is considered middle-age, and 2500-3000+ is old age. A Druin's tail is separated by segments and bone. Each segment represents a Druin's age and status. A Druin's tail grows longer each year when a new segment grows. For example, Endymion is around 51 years of age. He has at least 51 segments on his tail. Their tails are quite sensitive so that they won't crash into things.
Diet: Due to the Druin's enormous body and power, they can consume meat twice their body weight. Their diet consists of elephants, very large deer, and other large animals. Small game such as rabbits will not satiate their hunger. Druins also enjoy fruits as a light, tasty snack.
Appearance: (See pictures) Druins basically look like monstrous dragon-like wolves, but Druins are wolf. They have an armor of scales on their underbellies and tails. Normally they have fluff on their head and back that extend down to their tail. It is very common for a Druin to have horns on their heads and elsewhere on their bodies. Their claws can be catlike and retractable, or straight and immobile like a normal canine's. A Druin's legs are long, thick, and powerful. Their hind legs have more muscle build to allow greater jumps. A Druin's tail is unique as it is nothing but muscle and bone tissue that is segmented. If a Druin's tail is cut off, their tail will regrow in just a few short weeks or months. Their tails are so powerful that one heavy swing might send a trailer flying. Their tails are sensitive to it's surroundings, too. When a Druin walks through woodland areas, their tails has excellent sensory via their many hairs, so their tails easily avoid knocking into other trees and rocks (and knocking into other creatures). Their tails are so flexible that they are able to bend into tight coils.
Personalities: Variety is important when it comes to a Druin. For example, not all Druins act on the whims of evil; some Druins are good. Some Druins are bad to the core. Some Druins are shy, and some Druins can be heroic and chivalrous. Some Druins are serious while others have humor. Thus, every single Druin is unique! Druins are free to learn good and evil and right from wrong by themselves.
Strength: Some Druins are stronger than others. The stronger Druins, when charging, could send a trailer flying.
Colors: Their bodies and eyes vary in color.
Height: A purebred or Druin and Demon mix can be up to 10 ft. high. A mixed breed could be 8 ft. or lower, depending on the breed.
Language: Druin. Click here for a Druin translator, and information about the language in general.
Druin Names: Druin families and bloodlines have a strict tradition when it comes to the naming of their young. Any cubs sired by a Druin or even Half-Druin father take on the name of their father and the name of their grandfather as middle and last names. (ex: Kratos's father is Tartarus and his Grandfather is Apollo, so his name would be Kratos Tartarus Apollo). This applies to both male and female young. The name of the mother is never taken. Also, non-Druin females who become mated with a Druin male do not have to take on any name, but their children will. In some cases, due to the Druin specie's intense pride, names may go back several generations.
Powers: If a Druin has a lot of power, they must have weaknesses to compensate. For example, a Druin has a lot of muscle power, and 6 elemental skills, this Druin must have a lot of weaknesses to balance everything out. Warning: Druins cannot be almighty.
Wings: Wings vary (draconian, batlike, birdlike, butterfly, or mixed); wingspan varies as well according to the size of the Druin. Wings are normally blessed when a Spirit elemental joins with the Druin's soul at birth. Conveniently, Druins are able to make their wings disappear so that they aren't in the way.
Beliefs: Coming soon
Breeding: An average female Druins may give birth to a litter of two-three pups, but is is rare to have any more or less. A Druin female may succumb better at the age of 50 and produce healthier pups. A younger age will not give a great of chance of birthing healthy pups, because the female Druin's body is not strong enough to handle large puppies. Female Druins may be able to have pups every 20-25 years or once they hit around 50, since Druins live for a very long time. Female Druins are particularly aggressive during mating season, thus producing pups proves to be difficult indeed, which is why there aren't very many Druins.
Druins may breed with: Wolves, and on rare occasions, other serpents.
Druin's Horns: A Druin's horn(s) is unique. There is not one Druin that has the same exact horn as another. Others can distinct their fellow Druins by the shape and curve of the horn. The horns contain hard bone material that can lift or ram into things easily without hurting or stunning the Druin, but a lot of continuous ramming could stun or cause brain damage. Many say that the bones in a Druin is the same color as the horns. Male Druins have larger horns than the female.
Can others use this species with/without permission?: Druins are restricted. No one can create one without my permission.

Drunins
In the last few centuries, Druins have evolved into smaller creatures that are now called Drunins, which means 'Small Monster' in the Druin language. Drunins share strong similarities with their ancient cousins, the Druins. They are far more common than the Druins and have sprung up from various places around the world.
Only the differences between the Drunins and Druins are listed, anything that is the same between the species are left out.
Age: Unlike Druins, Drunins can live for a couple of centuries and die naturally around their 500th year.
Diet: Drunins enjoys eating pretty much anything a normal wolf would eat, such as an elk, rabbit, ect.
Appearance: They appear the same as their Druin cousins, except they are small.
Strength: For 5 ft. demons, Drunins are pretty stout fellows. With their horns, they can headbutt a tree and demolish it in moments if they want to.
Height: 5 ft. or lower. Anything above 5.1+ is unacceptable.
Drunin Names: Drunins are not partial to carrying their fathers' names like the Druins are, but some may still carry the tradition.
Breeding: It is not possible for a Drunin pair to create a purebred Druin. There is a 50% chance for a Drunin and a Druin couple to produce a fullbred Druin, the other 50% being a Drunin. You must still have my permission for the couple to produce a Druin.
Can others use this species with/without permission?: Feel free to make a Drunin!

How To Get a Druin or a Drunin
Druin Status:No more Druins can be created, do not ask. The only way you can have a Druin is if parents are expecting Druin pups. You must ask for my permission for your characters to have Druin pups. Drunin Status:Feel free to create a Drunin as long as they are 5 ft. or under. You do not need my permission for Drunins to have pups.
If you want your Druin to have pups, you must FIRST have my permission to have any. Please fill out the form and send it to me via Private Messages. The only reason I am allowing a form is because Wyndbain the site owner doesn't want too many large wolves running around the packlands, so I want a very good reason from people why they want their Druin to have pups. You must remember that Druins can live for a very long time, so chances of your character having pups is very slim.
Answer brief but good answers to the questions below and send them to me via private messaging. My username is "kaoru".
What are the parents' names? Link to the parents' profiles: How many pups do you want them to have?
