OoC: Sorry for the shortness. The last sentence is an expression, meaning whether she would take Doksuri or not.
"Perhaps it is time for you to get one, then." He whispered in her ear. His heart too rushed faster as he awaited her response. Time seemed to be getting slower and slower as he waited each moment for the answer. He could almost smell the tension in the air, and he had stopped breathing for that moment. It was now up to Elune as to whether she would take the kill, or leave it for the scavengers to feast upon.

Elune licked his muzzle and gave a wolfy smile. She looked him in the eye and took in a quick breath.
"Yes..Would you mind being my companion, then?"
She hoped with all her might for his acceptance. She could almost feel herself begin to heal as the time passed between them. It was not nearly as strong as what she had felt with the other at first, but it was growing.

"I'd be delighted to." Doksuri said, smiling. For the first time since he'd lost his memory, Doksuri had found someone which he could be with. Still, he had to learn more in order to be able to protect her from other packs. He would still have to seek out a psychic wolf to be his teacher.
It was getting late now, and he guessed that she had also been through a lot that day. He was getting tired, and his strength was still low from battling the demons. "We should find someplace to rest, as I'm guessing we both are tired." Doksuri said, "Tomorrow, I shall find a nice big deer to eat." He was still smiling, and the thought of no longer being alone still went through his mind over and over.
Doksuri walked around a bit looking for a spot off the path where they could rest. He found a clearing not far off, and used detect to see if anything was around. There was nothing but the few small animals that always inhabited the forest. Doksuri sighed with relief, as the demons probably feared leaving the forest surrounding the city where Xettakka and he had stayed.
"I've found a spot," Doksuri called to Elune, "I've made sure, and there aren't any other beings around. We should be safe for a while."

Elune followed the sound of Doksuri's voice. She spotted the little clearing and yawned mightily. She paced to the center and tamped down the ground slightly before laying down. She smiled and thumped her tail on the ground.

Doksuri layed down beside her, merry thoughts filling his head, and said, "Goodnight." Sleep took him in its arms, and placed him in a world of happiness and horrors some call dreams.
Naku was flying high above the forest, searching for a place to land. Morning was coming, and she didn't want to be out with the demons by herself. Her powerful eyes focused on every sign of movement, whether it was from the wind or an animal. Suddenly, she saw what she was looking for, a couple of sleeping wolves in a clearing. Worst of all, she saw a demon creeping up on them, obviously undetected.
She swooped down, and attacked the demon with her sharp beak and her great speed. The demon was tossed aside immediately, and as the wolves were starting to gain conciousness again, she had transformed back into her wolf form. "Fear me not, young wolves, as I have saved you from an untimely tragedy. I come to rest by your sides, for fear of the demons which reside here."
"You may stay," Came the brown wolf's voice. "Since I am awake, I will go get a deer. Rest with Elune, and I will check in with you periodically. Do not be afraid if you hear my voice in your head, as I will be using telepathy. Oh, and my name is Doksuri."
Naku nodded and layed down in the clearing. So this is a psychic wolf, she thought, I wonder what element this other wolf has, then. They certainly look like a happy couple. "Don't worry about me, Doksuri, if anything attacks us, then I shall defend your mate with my life."

Elune twitched every now and then, murmuring something unintelligible. She woke to find an unfamiliar female wolf watching over her. She yelped and the mists instantly reformed around her. She sighed loudly and talked to the she-wolf.
"Hello there. Sorry about the mists, they follow me everywhere..except when I'm very weak."

"They are good for me, actually." Naku replied. "I am an ice user, and it depletes the water in the air very quickly. Your mists would actually help me fight, and make me stronger. Oh, how rude of me, I forgot to mention my name. I am Naku, Nakuokami. I think we've met before, but I can't remember where. Perhaps I will remember when I am better rested."
She nodded to herself, and then laid her head down, falling asleep. Perhaps her dreams would guide her to why she knew this wolf. The dream came swiftly, and she was taken to a land of cold, the high mountains of the north. There was something going on ahead, she couldn't tell what. She strained her eyes, it looked like a gathering of... wolves? Where did she recognize this from? She glanced down below, and could recognise two of the wolves clearly, one was herself, the other was... ELUNE! What she could be doing there, Naku didn't know, she couldn't remember well enough.
Doksuri found the deer easily. He had recovered greatly that night, and was full of energy now. He had used two doses of pulse to pinpoint the location of a great buck, and used block to blind it. Swiftly, he had lunged for its neck, killing it. He used his telepathy to tell Elune that he had killed the deer, and was coming back. He trotted into the clearing, smiling and dragging his prize.
"So you're awake, Elune. What do you think of this wolf?" Doksuri asked her in a low voice, trying not to wake the wolf. She was a stranger all right, but somehow he felt like she knew something about them. The wolf gave a subconscious whimper. Her dream must have been taking a turn for the worse. If only he had been able to learn more about his psychic powers, if only he could peer inside her mind, help her out a bit. But, alas, he couldn't.

Elune looked on at Naku as she slept. She suddenly remembered something about the cold north lands where she met Alair. She strained to hold back a vocal outburst.
"I've seen her before, around Yokusei. It was a while ago, but I recognized her voice more than anything. She called herself Oka when I met her last, though."

The smell of the meat woke Naku, and as she glanced over she saw Doksuri and Elune eating. She trotted over and started eating herself, noticing that most of the good parts such as the liver had been taken already. The meat tasted good, and she was refreshed now, feeling that she could go on again.
"I think by now you've figured out my secret Elune, since I remembered where I knew you from in my dream, and realized I made a mistake. I am Nakuokami, an Eclipse wolf, which means I am able to transform between my phoenix form and my wolf form as I please, though I am fairly vulnerable while I transform. I am just passing through here as I need to see the alpha of my pack quickly. What brings you here, and do you have any plans after this? I ask because I could use some help on an upcoming mission. If you guys joined the Akeru pack you could help."
Naku revealed her secret, hoping that she would be able to get these wolves' help in her upcoming rescue from the clutches of Tartarus. If she had some help already, it might strengthen her plea with the alpha, and she could perhaps need less members in her squad. This psychic wolf would be an exceptional scout from what she'd seen, which would be invaluable to this mission.
Doksuri was eating happily when this Oka wolf got up and started eating beside them. After they finished, they listened to her story, and Doksuri pondered it a bit, taking it in. So, there were more of these wolves out here then, he had heard legends about wolves which had other forms, but never had he actually seen one. Now there was one right in front of him, in the flesh.
What kind of mission was this, though? From the sound of her voice and the aura given out by her mind, it would be dangerous. He would need to find a teacher before he went on it, and get taught. "What do you thin, Elune? Would you want to join the pack and help on this mission? I was hoping we could travel together and help me find a teacher so I could strengthen my abilities to fight off multiple enemies instead of just one." He then turned to Naku, and said, "If you could give me two months time, then I would be able to help you, and be more powerful than I am now."

"Then I will let the alpha know that you will be there. For now, I thank you for the meal, and bid you farewell." Naku bowed to them, then ran into the forest. There, she transformed back into her phoenix form and flew off. She hoped that she would see them again before she went on her mission.
"I hope we meet again sometime." Replied Doksuri, and Naku ran off into the forest. A few moments later he saw a great bird take flight and smiled at the thought of flying. He hoped they would meet again indeed.
He turned to Elune, and said, "Where should we search first, I have been thinking the swamps would be a good place to start, since they lay directly ahead of us, and you are especially strong there. Hopefully, with you by my side, I will not have to worry as much in that place." Doksuri gave her a big grin.

Elune smiled and nodded.
"To Sunai, then."
She wagged her tail happily and licked his cheek. She could feel her heart swell as she gazed upon his face. She felt something different with Doksuri than with the other male. Elune yawned and took one more bite off the deer before stretching.
