I did send a message to the owner of Mitaniee about that already. If they wish for me to remove the goddess, I will. I just chose that one because it was listed as available for claim on the first page...

Sorry to weigh in here, but I think I must take some of the blame. Or possibly Ave and me. A while ago, we were trying to encourage people to come up with new gods because a lot of the people then were like "waaah there's nothing left." So we went to the first post and modified it, trying to think of new things that hadn't been taken yet. So it's highly likely that one of us put "Harvest" and "Space/Cosmos" just because we were throwing out random crap. Thinking about it now, both are kind of silly for wolves, since wolves don't have agriculture and, as Wom said, their knowledge of "space" is limited to stars, the sky, the sun, and the moon. So...sorry about that. Our bad for misleading. ><
But yeah. We had a lot of problems with overlapping in the beginning (hell the other day we were trying to figure out who "owned" blizzards because I had the goddess of Wind and Ave had the goddess of Winter, so we settled on, well, both lmao) but we worked them out. So no matter what, probably there are gods that will step on each others' toes a bit. But that's fine because "real" pantheons of gods do the same thing. I mean, hell, there are two love gods in the Greek/Roman pantheon, with similar abilities. So it could be that the wolves had a concept of "Cosmos," who was, like, the mom of the Sky God and the Stars Goddess, etc. The thing is, if it seems like you're stepping on another person's "god" territory, you just have to PM them and suggest possibilities to work it out.
It's tricky but yeah this is just a fun thing for us to do and create, and hopefully not too many people take things personally or whatever. Anyway. Sorry again if we misled anyone. But you're all good roleplayers with creative minds, you can work around the restrictions! =)

Yeah sorry to be picky and whatnot, but you have to understand that I'm trying to make everything work out for every body. I'm not saying things to get on your nerves, or be unfair to anyone, I'm just considering other peoples' feelings too. When I think of harvest, I think of woodland creatures gathering nuts and berries to store away for the winter. Because squirrels, chipmunks, and ants naturally do stuff like that. But that's between you and the person who has Autumn. n.n
If I step in and say something, please don't take offense to that, it was never my intention. Also try to understand that as I'm writing up a mini-Wiki board for these gods, I have to have things make sense and not step on certain boundaries like Fely said. I had a rough time doing that yesterday with Twilly's god so I had to message him and ask him if it was okay to change some things, and he obliged. I've been working on this Wiki for the past few days, cut me some slack too. Dx No seriously, I've been writing things nonstop. x.x
As for space/cosmos (and since Wom said that just now, because I didn't know either) you can say that your Space/Cosmos god rules the upper realm of space... maybe it'd make more sense if you ruled over space instead of cosmos... Like before the stars came, your god came and created all the space in the upper realm. Then the Stars came. n.n I like that idea if you want to go with it! It's up to you!
Also remember, this is a group effort, we're trying to help eachother. Dx Please, lets not fight or argue about this! My goal here was to make things fun, and painless as possible for all of you. ><

I completely understand, you guys. I know it can be stressful to juggle a bunch of things at once. And Ave, thanks for the idea for the Harvest (if i still get to keep it : P ). I was a little confused as to why wolves would need such a god (I was thinking that perhaps these gods could possibly apply to human characters as well or something), but now I gottcha : D Anyway, good luck with all the new stuff.

Well I kinda imagined that the whole world, not just the wolf packs, worshiped or looked to these gods for wisdom or whatever. For example, buzzards, and other ravens and crows worship the Life and Death gods because they're ravens. I actually plan on making a raven character some day. And besides, even though our priority is a wolf site, we do welcome other creatures like deer and whatnot.
I suppose the only thing the wolves may "harvest" is meat to bury in the ground for winter. Some wolves do bury their meals in the ground to save for later. In some way... it's like a kind of harvest, only it's not a long-term harvest, more or less "I'll eat this deer leg later!" type of thing.

Name: Afidos (Ah-Fe-Dose)
Other names: Clymene
God of: Celebrities and Fame
Abilities: It is said that praying to Afidos will bring luck to your name. Just by saying his name three times in a reflective surface, a praying method of choice for Afidos, it is said your name will be thought of twice as much as usual. Though not many pray to the God of Fame those who do are known to find nearly instant fame. When sacrificed to, something small like a small animal, fame is said to be had overnight. When seen Afidos is said to inspire hidden talents, though never to create any that were not there before or to make them better. He more or less inspires people to show off talents they never knew they had.
Personality: This God is a very showy God who practices being gaudy quite often, whether it is with his appearance or his personality. He is always striving for what is bigger and better. He does go well with the God of Envy and often is closely associated. When seen he is often flaunting about and trying to show off to those around him. If one dares to insult this God they will find themselves one lonely creature, shunned by those around them. All in all this cocky God will not stand for any sort of intolerance. When in his presence he insists there be bowing and many thanks, if not you are bound to find yourself cursed.
Appearance: Seen as a beautiful blue bird known as The Blue Bird Of Paradise. Though he shows up as a fairly normal bird you will find that his eyes are made of pure gold, almost like a statue more than a living and breathing bird. Sometimes gold or silver feathers appear on him but the most prominent feature is surely his eyes. Other than that he is undistuiguishable from any other bird of his kind.
Story: There once was a beautiful man by the name of Afidos. He lived in the cradle of all life, born in Mesopotamia. His family wasn’t very rich, but not many were at the time. They were all farmers, finally putting down roots and settling. From this came marriage, social status, and other social ideals that had not been thought of the human by then. Religion also came from this fertile crescent of the world. They prayed to the Annunaki, a group of fifty Gods to whom they worshiped. Afidos was no different, giving his thanks to An in particular. Afidos wished just for one thing, one solitary things. He prayed for fame, something somewhat unknown to this early human culture. He did not want to be just another farmer, but the farmer.
Afidos was a foolish young boy when he gave his life in service of An and became the very first servant of the Gods. After being a demi-God for nearly four decades he was allowed to descend through the ranks and join the Annunaki himself. However by now this young boy, nearly just as foolish, found a new personality trait taking him over. He became extremely narcissistic and when denied the position as the deity of beauty he grew vengeful. He wanted more, and more, and more. When more was not enough the Gods began to scorn him. He was a disgrace to the Gods and An decided to banish him to the earth. they did not banish him before he choose his deity though. Afidos because the God of Fame and was sent to the earth in the form of a bird. Since then he has wondered the earth in an attend to bring fame to himself and those he meets.

Name: Azure
Other names: Azure of the Northern Sky, The Cloud Leviathan, The Father or The Gaudian
God of: Sky, Clouds and Quests
Abilities: Cloud Manipulation ~ Depending on the situation and his mood Azure shifts the clouds to his will. One moment it could be clear and sunny, and the next dark clouds reign the sky. Phasing ~ As told in legend when the worth human seeks the great Azure of the Northern Sky he appears in the form of a great armoured warrior. This is on rare occasion and he is almost always in his Leviathan form. Insight ~ Azure has the gift to bestow a worthy being a quest if they so choose. One this is done the outcome is decided by fate and decision. All Azure does is put the being on a journey to answer ther question or wish.
Personality: Besides his fellow gods and godesses Azure is misrepresented or understood sometimes. In his true nature Azure is strong, brave, fair, and a great leader. He will always speak the word of truth and rarely ever yells but never whispers either. His voice is loud yet not obnoxious. When he talks people listen, when he makes a decision it usualy goes unquestioned. He can give great guidence and is a loyal being. This god would never commit such an act that would leave things un-just or that would intentionaly hurt others (unless in a war etc). Azure is understanding and listens well. He does not speak too many words but he is not quiet either. He is very content with observing a situation rather than interviening unless needed but he isnt seen as a loner or silent. He is very righteous and insightful wich is why many pray to him for an answer. Little words are needed to describe someone such as him but what little that are said mean alot.
Appearance: Leviathan form ~ (Dont confuse him with a dragon, he is not. And click the link for this one or it might stretch the page) www.elfwood.com/art/d/r/dragonsun24//Flying_Dragon_Of_The_Golden_Sky.jpg
Warrior form ~
Legend: Born From Thunder And Sky: As legend goes there was a raging storm enveloping the world many millenia ago. The winds were so harsh they slived through the thickest trees, tsunamis rose and flooded the earth, smoke from fires blackened the skies and thunder and rain fought against eachother above. It was said a legendary human warrior prayed to the gods for power. The gods did so enchanting the sword before the great warrior hauled it towards the clouds. Upon slicing the black clouds lighting cracked down lighting the sword before a massive flash of lightning blinded the world for many minutes. As the world began to see again the tsunamis retreated back to the ocean, the fires died to nothing, the winds siezed and the clouds grew lighter as rain and thunder erased. The people looked to the sky as a giant golden beast dipped under the sky reaching many miles in length. With a mighty roar it disapeared back from once it came never to be seen again more many years after. It is said in stories that the blade after being electricuted had taken the form of a live leviathan known as Azure of the Northern Sky and that the beast had reversed all the damage. The warrior who cast the blade to the clouds was never seen again and is said to be the soul of the great god.
Misc: The first week of January every year beings pay tribute to the great Azure and remember the lost ones who died in his creation with a great festival. The people have beautiful feasts and drink red wine every night for dinner. There are fantastic pheonix races and re-enacts of the legends. Gifts in honor of Azure and the warrior are sold (pretty much the same thing ^^) and there are great activities and competitions. A fun time for all. Thanks Ave-san ^^ Name: Nekio and Hanako
Other Names: The Twins, Two Souls
Goddess and God of: Protector of Twins and Children
Abilities: They watch over and guide all children, their ability is to keep all childrens hearts pure until they become teenagers with wich they are no longer kids. The appear to young ones often to play of send a message to them. They are the imaginary friends children always tell their parents about. Only children up to the age of 12 can see them. Once they turn 13 they loose their ability to see the twins and are no longer quided by them. The also watch over babies. They can also read each others minds.
Personality: The goddesses Nekio and Hanako are the one soul split into two beings or casualy known as twins. They appear in the form of two kittens, one black (Hanako) and the other white (Nekio). They can also appear to human children as two neko children. They are kind and playful twins always laughing and smiling. Despite their image they arent close to being seen as immature, they are quite mature in fact but still have a nature about them that all children love. They are friendly and accepting, they speak to those they watch over in a gentle tone that seems like they are just above whispering. They never frown or yell instead teaching and leading those in a more caring approach. They will praise but not reprimand. When amoung the gods and goddesses they arent seen as meer children but seen as if they were and adult, treated with respect and honor. Being twins they know everything about one another and never stray too far from their other half. They know great love and forgivness.
Appearance:
Life: As legends states eons ago when the land of Shinkou had only just come into existance winter reigned and everything the eye could see was blanketed in thick pale snow. Lakes were hard as marble, all greens on the trees withered and died and food was scarce. A family of bievers lived on the waters edge inside a deep hollow. The lack of food had caused malnourishment and rage in many of the animals. The bievers were wise and had already stored food away. Unfortunatley living so close to pack territory every few months the bievers would be the victims of wolf attacks. The wild dogs would growl, tear down roots and branches and crumble rooms. After several attempts with no luck the wolves would leave the bievers alone until the next month and attack again. The bievers were raising children at this time as feared for thwir lives. As the sun rose one morning father biever left the safety of his home to look at the fresh morning sky, he prayed to the gods, "please, protect my babies". Two lingering spirits had been watching his plea's and decided to answer. As the biever moved back into his home two blossoms bloomed on a dead tree and as they did winter turned to spring, food returned to the land and the bievers were safe from the wolves attacks now that they could hunt carribou and such. It is said that two kittens were seen pouncing around the bievers home that night and every night after. And thats the birth of the Twins ^^
When children are born it is a custom to gift them with blossums wich are then placed above where they sleep as an offering to the twins to protect their infants until they reach their teen years.

Why would you need to do that?
Um I know you guys already have your plot and all happening but I think it would be good if Azure has his own little plot, like he was married or something to another godess and such, its be fun. ^^ So if anyone wants to do that with Azure let me know. It could be a mini plot like the legends in real life surrounding mythology.

Satu that is completely up to you! It can be genderless if you want to. xD Edit: Why would you retract your god? >>
That's fine Umei, we totally encourage your own story and all that!
I've done that with a few of mine... I took the liberty to create a story that certain gods mated with another god and produced this god that is a minor god of such and what... like I made a very short story saying that there is speculation or a belief that Manu mated with Rhan to produce another goddess, I forgot her name. Not saying it DID happen... but if Z doesn't want that, that's fine too. It was just the only thing I could think of at the time because it seemed only right because of what they represent and all that. xD
You can do something creative with any of mine, although I'd have to say that Hetis will never do anything involving love, and Chutra is a cold-hearted meanyface and is only interested in her mate and child and won't commit infidelity. xD

NOTICE: There are faaaar too many white-colored gods... I'm no exception considering I have two... a polar bear and an albino raven... Please, please please please consider making a god that varies in color, not just white. I understand white is a symbol of power and purity for a god, but it gets dull after a while when there's like more than 10 (I counted!) that are pure white.
Edit: Refrain from doing any more dragons, too. We have so many dragon gods now. Dx

NOTICE: Since the gods are almost gone, I'm allowing for everyone to go ahead and create any of the gods listed--this means you can have more than 5 now. xD If you come up with a god, it is a good idea to ask me first if it's not on the list. I don't want anyone to freely make a god of heat when we already have a god of fire.

Dibs on Beauty! Ehm, I decided to keep her previous name given on the first page of this Dx If you have a problem with it, just let me know and I'll change it. Oh yea and if there are any problems with her history, same there too xD
Name: Vataliny Other names: Mirabel, Amara, Yumi Goddess of: Beauty Abilities: She is the maker of all things one would perceive as beautiful. She has the ability to grant beauty and youthfulness to someone or inner beauty to less attractive creatures. She knows when someone is truly beautiful from the heart, and when they are only beautiful in appearance. Personality: She can sometimes be a vain goddess should she be compared to someone negatively, although she usually portrays herself as innocent and friendly. She believes herself to be one of the greatest goddesses, and certainly the most attractive, except perhaps Quinivene, goddess of love and sexuality, whom she considers an equal. She will often do kind things for others, particularly beautiful creatures, and has sometimes been said to grant beauty to less attractive creatures if she deems fit. Appearance: She varies in colors, but is said to be a large cheetah with brilliant blue eyes and lithe features. Whatever color she takes on, it is always bright, soft, and flawless. The traditional markings on a cheetah are true to her, although if she is any color aside from white, they are white. If she takes on a white color, they are then brilliant blue. Story: In the beginning, after Etanus created a face for Quinivene, goddess of love and sexuality, he had a short-lived desire for her. From them was born Vataliny gifted with beauty and the ability to create beauty within others. She also works to sustain the beauty within the world, such as the majesties of nature. She will often coordinate with other gods and goddesses for these effects. Misc: It is said she will appear if you pluck various flowers, usually lilies, alyssums, cinnamon blossoms, hibiscus', magnolias, oleanders, orchids, pear blossoms, statice blossoms, wisterias, or xeranthemums and toss them in the air.
