He knew the conversation could go one of two ways; one, she would have a multitude of questions to ask him and he would answer wih precision and perfection. Or two, she would have nothing really to ask and only ask one or two questions that seemed fitting at the time. Of course, with the latter, she would probably ask moe quesions at a later date. But Lufelon was a patient wolf, he had to be. So he watched her carefully and waited for the questions to come.
Off the bat she had a few lined up and he could tell she was more observant than he at first thought. Something that could be dangerous. Most of the time with observation came intellegence that wasn't easily swayed. 'We do wander. Most of the ones I gather come seeking the whole unit of a pack. We don't condone violence most of the time and hence we have never wanted to fight for territory. Besides, seeing the world just has something to it.' He gave a smile, that turned into a soft laugh, 'You may stay with us as long as you feel comfortable, Vellina. I make sure that no pressure is placed upon any member to stray with us or be left behind.' Then again, if they were left, the deserter never stayed alive for very long. Another mystery that would never be solved.

She was silent and attentive as she listened to his response, how it came off with such ease. So, they were a wandering pack. Merely to grow as they wandered? She perked her ears at the mention of violence.. or perhaps the more common lack of. Violence. Something she was not so unfamiliar with in her past. Not that she had commited any, no, but of acts done to those around her. She thought of the words he spoke, how she and her sister had spent most of their lives wandering and seeing the world, so to speak. Until they had come to the Shinkou Lands and they had parted ways due to disagreement. Ah, she put it from her mind. Her new focus was a much more violent oriented goal. She had been searching for wolves... a pack perhaps that might see things more eye to eye with her. Even in any kind of devious way. Was it possible then these were merely another group of wolves with a free spirited way?
He gave her permission to stay. As long as she wished, even if she wanted to leave. Too good to be true? Perhaps she was too skeptical of others. At last she spoke again, at least for the moment not responding to the part of whether she would join the group or not. "But then, if you don't seek to overtake another pack's land... I suppose you have never then found a place suitable to your liking that wasn't already claimed? I suppose I merely wonder if you and your pack desire no permanent sort of land like so many others I have seen. You are free spirits who roam for the sake of it, growing bored with one place after too long?"
His answer would either confirm or deny her suspiscions. She asked such questions only to find out for her own satisfaction if she really wanted to follow with a pack of that nature. Unless of course she took advantage of his offer. What if in doing so, it would be the perfect opportunity for her? She waited, curious. It couldn't really be that easy... could it? Or was there something more beneath the surface. It was hard to tell. In all her experiences, she had never met an Alpha of a pack like Lufelon. Yet she found it so strange that if he seemed so cordial, patient, understanding... a free-spirit with his pack, if he was, welcoming to anyone and forgiving if they went their way he would be staying here in the lands of Giaku.. the most evil wolves in these lands, or so she had heard. So many questions buzzed in her mind about it that she wasn't sure she wanted to ask out loud. She wanted to find out for herself. A strong urge to do so rising more and more the more she thought about it. To go with his pack and learn more about this Alpha... so unlike others she had met in her past.

Dual colored eyes watched her as the thoughts churned through her head. Sure, the idea of a roaming pack was unusual but even stranger things lurked in this world. More than once had he come on lands, plants, stones, and creatures so bizarre it was hard not to believe any more. Her next series of questions were lengthy, more in-depth as to why they do the things they did.
A soft chuckle left him as he shifted getting comfortable. 'Never bored,' he stated. He took in a deep breath as a thoughtful look came over his features. 'Our pack is ever changing. We pick up wanders all the time. The lost souls who are alone but do not wish to be. We welcome them, give them the support they need, the guidance to live on. Not all those who wander alone want it that way, you know. But at the same time, not all those who wander wish to wander for long.'
He stared off into the distance for a moment then looked back to her, 'As often as we pick up the lost, so do we leave behind those we have come to love. You see, Vellina, we travel until our souls find a home. Be it with a mate, an estranged family member, it doesn't matter. You can say that certain members of my pack, me included, have yet to find where our hearts are. As such, we travel until we feel that calling.'
Of course, the truth was much more than that. Sometimes members were left behind to help spread the poison. Scouts would find him to relay messages of times of burden. Times when his pack could move in and strike with ease. Of course, those members that did attack were his most Elite members. The faithful would never lay privy to destruction.

"Is that so?" she paused, as if saying in silence "I see...". His stance shifted, showing comfort... or more perhaps confidence. He was sure of himself. That was a good sign, of course in looking for someone to be your Alpha. "I suppose then if some do feel the call of home while you are in some place, they choose to remain while the others carry on..." It was more a statement of confirmation... to make sure she understood him.
It indeed seemed rather fantastical, like the perfect thing. Having the security of a pack for travel and hunting, yet the freedom to move on when one found their place. It was not so much strange to her, or bizzare, as much as curious... fantastical... maybe even unbelievable. As many strange things as she had encountered... species, creatures, whatever else... this was something entirely different. It was an idea. And she couldn't help but be curious if it were really so simple. Surely there was something more beneath the surface. But he indicated he was being completely honest. Which, of course, at this point she had no reason not to believe him. Her skepticism came from her past, time spent learning not to easily trust in too much.
She once more remembered her intentions and she weighed her thoughts. On one hand, she felt this may not really be what she was looking for. She was a strong wolfess, despite her lack in size, hardened from years of wandering, pain, and thoughts of revenge, and was a fighter. She thought of herself highly, and knew she was searching for a group of wolves to follow her devotedly, or perhaps merely to have that drive of revenge on others. She wanted to hunt down those who deserved only death and end them. And she wanted to run with a pack like that. So far, it hardly seemed as though this pack under Lufelon was what she waned. They weren't openly violent and wandered searching for their heart's calling. She had no intention of entering his pack to try and get some of its wolves to kill those undeserving of life in their travels.
But on the other hand, this Alpha and pack intrigued her. The whole idea of it was new, at least the way she saw it, and she saw that Lufelon held a certain pride in his pack.. or at least she felt it was so. She in no way wanted to bring division, especially if they were searching for a place and peace or whatever else. She was a vengence seeker, and they seemed not so much. Still, she had time. It was not as though she didn't have a life ahead of her to live. And he was giving her the opportunity of a lifetime. Should she take the bait? Afterall.. perhaps she would even find her own heart's calling as they travelled. She might meet the specific wolves she hunted, if not others equally worthy of hatred.
"It does sound quite grand," she murmured, partially hoping to complement him, though it was unknown if she were trully admiring. "Mmm, a heart's calling. You and your pack must have seen much in so much wandering. So any wanderer may join your group and at any time leave as he or she see's fit?" she questioned, "No strings attached?"

He could see the wheels churning in her mind. She was thinking, processing all of what he was telling her. Sure it seemed unorthadox but it was how he worked. Its how he needed to work if he wanted things done properly and his way. She liked the idea and he smiled faintly. She asked about there being strings attached and Lufelon paused to think it over. 'We are only as open as any heart is allowed to be. We like to give chances, but there are some who fail to see eye to eye with others.'
He tilted his head, as if trying to think of a simpler way to explain it. 'Some do not understand our ways. Its like any other pack. There are boundries that need to be respected. Obviously if one doesn't follow our ismple rules, the rules of other packs we come across, than we can not accept him into the pack. As for leaving, what good would it do us to stop them? If one wants to leave any pack, they will find a way.' Not only that, but even if they remained behind, they remained faithful to Lufelon in some way. He laughed, 'Maybe we arent as simple as I like to think at times.'

She gave a nod as he explained, her mind continuing to think though letting his words filter through. "Perhaps," she said with a brief smile. She was silent then for another moment, uncertain of whether or not she should ask some of the questions she still held. At least, whether she should ask them now. Ah, what the hell. If she didn't take the risk of finding out just where this would take her, she'd always wonder. Maybe not, if she found her own goals on her own, but this just might be good help, or even a time passer.
"You're right though. Everyone thinks of things in different ways." Not that something couldn't be done about it if there was disagreement, she thought to herself. At least for some.
"Well I suppose I should say it. Perhaps to put it in tangible form... maybe for myself. I do have interest in becoming part of your pack." For now, she reserved her other questions. Maybe, she'd learn as she travelled with them and wouldn't ever have to ask verbally. She awaited his response, expecting he mght have already known such interests had swelled within her.

She was still thinking. Letting each word drip through and filter to various parts. The main question was if she was trusting his word. But she had to be. It wouldn't be taking her this long to think if she hadn't believe his words, which were spoken mainly in truth. Sometimes you had to exaggerate the truth or veil it in order to get your point across. A dirty trick, but no one got through on not lying. Honesty was beneficial, though for best results no one had to know which was a lie and which was the truth.
And everyone did think differently. It was why he prized his elites so much. As loyal as they were, having anothers input was a saving device. Another angle, another view point. His followers could get into places he couldn't penetrate without drawing suspicion. But this one was interested in joining his pack and Lufelon nodded in full understanding. 'As I said, all are welcome.' Her loyalty would be tested by the others. But not right away. Over time things would unfold. 'The other members Im sure will be glad to have you.'

She gave a smile as he repeated his welcome. Only, now it felt more official, at least for her. Still, it was somehow strange. She hadn't ever aligned herself with a pack, not since the one she was born into, and she was curious where this would go. For now, she'd just take it one step at a time.
"Good," she murmured, remembering her curiosity about the rest of the pack. Particularly the Olu part. "Well, do you intend to stay here much longer, then?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

As easy as that.
One more the join his ranks. One more to learn the ways of life in his pack and slowly become integrated, or brainwashed as some would call. Or maybe even sacrificed for the greater good. When they would get to that point he would decide what her best job was. 'Shortly. A few of my members are still recovering and need more time to rest.' ANd more time for them to decide who was staying and who was leaving. Surely his members would not be forced to the lower ranks either.

Vellina nodded, responding only with, "I suppose I might hang around and accompany you when you return." If he were alright with that, she would then lie back slightly, not completely, but as a relaxed state. She wasn't sure what she'd do if he wasn't okay with her suggestion, but she doubted that would be the case. It was a strange thing that she didn't have somewhere to wander to to see if she might discover something in line with her goals, at least for now, but somehow it felt nice, like regardless she had some sort of purpose. She knew now Lufelon was her superior, her Alpha, and she must carry herself with respect for him. Which she already was starting to, stemming mainly from intrigue and curiosity. But also, this was different from other pack settings she had observed. Soon, she would see for herself just how this pack worked and functioned.
OoC: Hey, Z, I think after Lufelon responds to Vellina, now is a good place to end the rp XD What do you think?

'You do what you feel you need to do at this moment.' He shifted, shaking his pelt just slightly. He looked toward the skies for a moment then down to his newest recruit. 'I must call the other members of the pack. When you're ready to join us, you may.' He dipped his head, 'A pleasure to speak with you Vellina. Stay well and until we meet again.' With that being said, he would turn to leave. He had a mission to complete and one more member to tell the others about.

A loner, and that's all she would ever be. Akita said the word aloud 'Loner.' She whispered. After the weeks following her exile from her pack, she had spent her time trotting through claimed pack lands. She had gotten use to the burn of running, but she still didn't stand a chance against another wolf with the running power of an elder. Akita had the speed and stamina of a newly born pup. Akita pushed away the memories of the previous months. "That doesn't matter anymore" She thought. "I came here to start a new life, these are the lands were exiled and traitors wolves roamed. She would be welcome here." The soft barking of another wolf snapped Akita out of her thoughts and back into the modern world. Her long claws gripped into the soft root of a sapling. Akita forced her tightened muscles to relax, and she slowly eased her claws out of the young sapling's root. She needn't be wary of other wolves now, this was open land. Akita crawled over to the murmurs of two wolves. Akita's white matted belly fur got caught in the mesh of broken sticks and stones. Akita yelped when one snagged at a large knot, leaving a raw pink mark. Akita prayed that the other wolves didn't hear her. She could take on one wolf, but even two would leave her with a far greater chance of walking out with wounded pride and body.
