You think your tenor's bad; you should hear mine lol XD Actually, maybe you shouldn't ; Yeah, both my brother and my mom write their own songs. My mom burns her own CDs and some of her songs are (in my opinion) really good. My brother hasn't written many, but he's got a few that he's recorded and stuff. He's sort of putting music aside right now in favor of his college studies, but he's still got talent I heard PotO before the movie came out, but like you, it started my craze for musicals. So yeah, I've gotta thank ALW, Sarah Brightman, and Michael Crawford for his AMAZING Phantom...<3 I'm such a spaz. I also like Les Misérables, though it's such a man's musical XD And Wicked rocks my world. Wheee I could just name all my favorite musicals and why I love them so much, but I couldn't put anyone else through such boredom x3

Gah, I've heard about POTO before the 2004 version, also. Like when I was really little... I remember the black n' white version, but I remember one version that I watched during a Halloween about 7 years ago or so... The Phantom was all like, 'SING, SING!' And that chikie chicker Christine was like, "Fwah". And then disaster corrupted, and more chaos, and more disaster, and more pandemonium. Yay.
I used to like it even then, because I was fascinated by the guy in the dark cape. *Nods*
I also have this book by R. L. Stine from the Goosebumbs series, 'Phantom of the Auditorium'. It's so wierd that it's not even funny. Like... this 80 year old guy, the Phantom, hits on a seven year old. Not cool. )= IT'S PERVERTED AND... AND... MICHAEL JACKSON! Only he liked little boys, but anyway...
Oooh, I LOOOVE Chicago 0= And not just the movie. I have some of the songs downloaded from the actual broadway version. I think 'Cats' is okay, but the only reason I don't like it, is because IT HAS NO PLOT IN IT WHATSOEVER. Shwah.
I'd looove to see Wicked. Speaking of which, a group in my class did a song in Wicked to perform for our 'Music Videos' project. XD It was interesting, yes, it was indeed.
Moosicals rawk my sawkz0rs.

lol, yeah I've never seen the old black-and-white version, except for little clips and it kinda looked funny XD But I remember knowing about PotO because of Wishbone. There was an episode dedicated to Phantom of the Opera...I barely remember it except for this one scene when Phantom's banging on the organ and Christine's like trapped in a cage and Raoul comes bursting in...it was funny because it was like Wishbone as Raoul. Teehee.
Ugh...I never read R. L. Stine. He creeped me out, man.
I haven't heard all of Chicago, unfortunately, but I have heard a few songs. Obviously "All That Jazz" is really good...and the song with the six murderesses is hilarious XD
"Wicked" is coming to Boston this year!! I'm so excited. But sadly, I don't think I can afford to see it this time, which makes me really peeved. If I can, I so will. It's just so awesome and funny and...yeah. Really cool.
I also think Spamalot is just hilarious - it's the musical version of Monty Python's "Quest for the Holy Grail," and it's actually well-written and well-casted and just really really funny. ^^

Oh gosh, you have no idea how hard I'm laughing right now. I used to LOVE Wishbone; that was a GREAT TV show. I remember one show of Wishbone; he was Shakespeare or something. I dunno. But yes, I'm rather interested in that particular episode. So, like, I wonder if they have pictures... *Looks up on Google*
...nope, they don't. *Checks Limewire* z.o
Oh gawds, I've heard about Spamalot XD
Yah, though my favorite book and episode show of R. L. Stine was something something Terror Tower. It was really good.

Wishbone made my life complete. It was such an AWESOME show. I remember him doing Mark Twain's The Prince and the Pauper, wherein there were TWO Wishbones...Charles [grrr]ens' stuff, too. A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, and Oliver Twist were all done on Wishbone. And he did Romeo and Juliet, too. And The Odyssey, and Faust, and oh man so much...I wish I could rewatch all of Wishbone's episodes.

OMIGOSH! I remember that episode! I so totally remember it! Only feeble flashes, but I do remember. How interesting. =)
Man, now I'm all into Wishbone. We ought to get together and get those movies (because I found out that they have some on DVD and VHS), and just sit and watch them... *Sigh* Oh, the old, golden days...

Yeah, I really love Wishbone...it's absolutely brilliant, and I still apply what I learned from it so long ago today. ^_^ In ninth grade, we read The Odyssey, and I could clearly recall Wishbone all dressed up in armor shooting an arrow through twelve axes with holes in them. And then this year, we studied Faust, and I could very vaguely remember Wishbone's version of that, only much less clearly.
The kids - Joe, Sam, and David! I remember their names! They were cool too. Man, I need to watch Wishbone right about now. So wonderful.
Did you used to watch Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? That was also an awesome show.

Oh yeah, that show. Only that show sort of scared me, because it was a lady wearing a red robe and a red hat. She was scary o.0 And the guy that would sing it, was all like, "WHERE IN DA WORLD IS... hua! Carmen Sandiego." *Hides*
Argh, it has been so long... and I do remember there being morels to every story and whatnot in Wishbone. Good show. Good show. Did you know the dog, that played Wishbone.., his name was Soccer. He died two years ago. )=

Haha, the group was called Rockapella...like a capella, except rockin' XD That was such a funny show, though. It was so...quirky. They had "the-one-and-only-plastic-diver-guy!" that always gave a clue, and every time they had the "Lightning Round," the host, Greg, would be wearing one of those headbands with a lightning bolt, so it looked like a thunderbolt had struck him in the head. So weird. But funny and educational. Alas, they took it off the air several years ago, which made me sad =(
Aww....he died? That's so sad. Well, he was probably old. And he left behind a legacy for future generations of children eager to learn classic literature and legends. Hurrah for Wishbone/Soccer! The best dog evar.

*Jumps in the conversation* xP Squee! Yes, it would've been quite enjoyable to see Kaoru's performance. Teehee, I was laughing so hard while she was telling me. As you guys can see in the thingy she posted LOL Hmm, well, I can't sing tenor at all )= I can hit some low notes, but my low is usually alto. Ooo, Kaoru... I must hear your tenor =3 We should sing the Down Once More song like next time we talk on the phone. ^^ Hmm, maybe my sister could sing Raoul XD My Dad was thinking about me and him doing a duet from POTO for my church talent show coming up later this year. xP --- Lesee here, my older sister can play violin quite well. ^^ I lurve the violin xD Then, right now Dad has my three siblings and I on piano lessons. But, you know, I've been lazy and not been practicing *shifty eyes* I'll probably regret it later though x.x; Oh well xD Then, my Dad plays the Hammer Dulcimar, and the guitar. For those of you who have no idea what a Hammer Dulcimar is, its a trapazoid shaped instrument, usually wooden, with wooden hook shaped 'hammers' that tap the string, stretched over the surface. It's really pretty sounding =3 ---- Speaking of Rocapella, I was downloading gospel songs and they sang Amazing Grace, so I have that on my playlist xP ---- Ooo, Fely! I have to hear you sing sometime! =D That'd be soo cool ^^ Teehee, yea I sing all the time around my house, and sometimes I'll like go off key and screech, or go too low and cough, but my family puts up with it too xD ---- *Gasp* Omg! I remember when we lived in Texas. We used to live in Lubbock.. it's North Texas ^^ Anyway, I remember when I was like six and seven years old and we used to watch Wishbone every afternoon. I remember sooo many episodes. Let's see, I do believe that Prince and the Pauper, was the last episode I saw. It was like before we moved. And when we got to Georgia I remember the first thing we did with the TV was flip through the channels to see if Wishbone was on LOLOLOL And, my school library has all the Wishbone books so I still like to borrow them now and then to read xP... but, Wishbone died? I didn't know that. Too bad, I loved that dog. He's missed ^^ ---- Hmm, I feel so deprived. LOL I haven't seen Chicago, or anything. In fact, I didn't even know POTO existed until Kaoru told everyone on SO about the 2004 version. And now I'm one of the screaming POTO fans LOL Hmm, another good musical is Sound of Music. Julie Andrews rocks. And so does that movie. But, I havent' really seen very many musicals -_- I need to go rent some from the movie store LOL
