Not really knowing if he intrigued her or just a deep lack of understanding about this area that kept her with him. Ash was almost desperate to make those she met unlike everyone else: closed, withdrawn and sometimes even hostile. She wanted someone in this world to call a companion so she didn't feel so alone. Yet to contradict herself, she couldn't easily approach others. Getting the hint he was trying to portray, she wanted to leave just as much, but a snarky part of her kept her talking to him. Watching him stand up, she still kept her vines wrapped around her form defensively. "Perhaps you should take me to these loving wolves you're talking about then", she responded in the same tone he gave when stating such, presumably sarcastic. She lashed out a vine to grasp his tail as he was walking away and when he looked at her, she batted her lashes at him.

He had learned to be patient over the years in his career. But one thing he knew he never had to be patient with were those in a lower class than him. And she wasn't even in a class because she wasn't part of this world, meaning, she didn't need anything. He heard her sarcastic tone and he rolled his eyes, moving on his way. But he didn't get far when he felt something pull on his tail. Head snapped back to glare at her, 'I have connections, loner,' he stated as a very pungent scent filled the air, 'I recommend releasing me before I have to call upon them.'

A smell began to waft towards her nose, making it scrunch up in displeasure. Perhaps by pulling his tail triggered something... "My my, getting a little nervous?", she tugged on his tail again, insinuating that the smell was coming from that area. She knew it probably wasn't, or at least hoped it wasn't. "And 'connections' you say? Those loving wolves you were talking about? Hm? You mean they're going to hug and kiss me if you call upon them? Don't let me stop you." She winked at him and chuckled. Albeit all this, she kept her grip on the male quite firm and loved the game that she created. She wanted to see how long she could keep it up.

The little thing didn't seem to take a hint. A moment ago she feared him because of his sheer size, now she was chewing on him as if he were a chew bone. The hair on his backside bristled dramatically, pink eyes narrowing on the dumb little she wolf. Surely this entire time she must have been playing him. Pretending to be so naive.
He was ready to lash out at her, but that thought stopped him. She was getting his goat was all. Testing the waters. Almost immediately Zivan relaxed, the anger seeping away along with the disgusting smell. Again, the soothing floral scent moved out and he eyed her. 'Release my tail,' he stated quietly. Part of who he was, of his living, was to pretend and to act. Those lessons would not be forgotten now.

Ash watched the large male closely, observing his movements. The disgusting smell continued and her nose crinkled before she held it and breathed through her mouth, it was getting that bad. She did this subtly though, not giving him the apparent satisfaction. Her swirling hazel iris' continued to eye him. It's not that she was pretending to be naive, nor did she truly fear him because of his size. True, she didn't know how to react to him earlier, but now, she liked this game she was playing with him. She found him amusing now, knowing a little, but just enough, of his mannerisms.
As the male began to tense up, so did Ash, preparing for anything. Giving him a questioning look, the hostile appearance he gave then vanished and he mellowed out. Surprised a little, the smell wafted away and the floral scent from before returned. What are you up to?, she wondered to herself. However, before she completely let go of his tail, she approached him from the side and sat down in front of him as she released the grip on his tail. Her vines still were wrapped around her, though right now she just looked like she was wrapped up in a cocoon of green. Smirking slightly, she turned her head to the side some, looking up at him coyly, "You like me, don'tcha?"

His actions caught her off guard and that was good. he watched as she moved around his front, then released his tail. His eyes were narrowed on her, not trusting her own motives. But he kept himself calm, letting the smell he set off relax his own body and mind. She gave him a coy look and at her question he lifted a brow. That hadn't been what he had been expecting.
He returned the smile of hers. 'As much as a wolf loves a tick in the ear. Now leave me alone.'

"A tick in your ear, mm?", she lifted a paw to her mouth and began to groom it. However, her tongue wasn't shaped like a wolf's. It was more tapered at the end and thicker. As she opened her mouth and stroked it against the back of her paw, thorns exposed themselves after the lap, not wanting to scrape up herself. Wanting him to catch a glimpse of this, she did this a few times before the thorns retracted and her mouth closed. Eyes wandering from her paw back up to him, she continued, "I can be your tick, if you'd like." She grinned.

She proceeded to clean her ears, as if checking to make sure there were no ticks in her own ears. As if the metaphor didn't even make sense to her. He blinked, his face straight without the emotions to give it away. 'You're kind of dumb aren't you?' He asked then shook his head, 'I don't have time for ticks or pests, which is the category you fall into. Im way too pretty for that.' For emphasis he tossed his head, the mane of fur around his neck ruffling right into the wind.

((She didn't clean her ears o_0 She licked her paw, showing her tongue thorns. She understood the metaphor, in fact made a sensual comment about it ))

((But it doesn't make sense xD Guess Zivan is the stupid one )) Ash's expression froze and it was hard for her to remain calm after his first spear of a statement. Pursing her lips, she cocked her head to the other side and eyed him. Huffing lightly through her nose, the ends of the vines that wrapped around her crossed in front of her chest as he finished to speak his mind about her, and himself. By now, she knew for sure how eccentric he truly was. The vines that were crossed then whipped around one of his forelegs and then she pulled herself to Zivan then up onto his shoulder blades. The other vine then wrapped around his other foreleg firmly, harnessing herself to the large male, that is if he didn't buck and try to throw her off. If he did retaliate, Ash would then say, "Ah, but you said I'm a pest and I only want to fulfill your expectations of me."

The next events that unfolded did catch Zivan off guard and his initial reaction was to jerk. But he stopped himself, schooling himself to just let it happen. Hey if this were sexual he wouldn't mind, yet all of this was her way of reacting to him. For whatever reason, she was wanting this type of game. Fair enough. If she wanted to abuse him, then she would pay for it eventually. He could play it up to those connections he had and her fate would be in their paws. The vines laced around him and he eyed them, confident he could counteract the vines if he should chose to. After all, he was used to binding.
'What do you want?' He asked her, turning a bored look onto her. 'And if this is how you get your jollies, I must say you're much weirder than I am.'

Holding her footing on the large male's back, Ash felt triumphant that she could get away with this. His reaction was minimal and it almost seemed as if he was letting it happen. Considering it, she thought it odd if he did enjoy this type of thing. A game, certainly; but abuse wouldn't be the first thing that came to her mind about what she was doing to him. It was turning out to be a bore, seeing the lack of reaction out of him.
When he did look back at her with a tired expression, it was almost as if he didn't know of what he just said to her before she swung herself onto his back. Ash gave him a scornful look and poked her paw at the back of his neck, "You're the one who called me dumb. And I thought you would enjoy me pestering you further, but apparently not", she finished sarcastically. "And you're the weird one." Her rebuke was weak nonetheless.
((Oh, I just remembered we have a thread together with Hydra and Shuusui. I dunno if you didn't know how to continue it or forgotten, but its your turn hun))

He waited, tail flickering gently, and that being really the only emotion he was giving off. And that was even hard to read of what it was feeling. She had a tempter though, a way to pout if something wasn't going how she wanted it. But that was good in his case, she may get bored and he would just send the hounds after her later.
'Im not the one sitting on a complete strangers back.' He wanted to add some snark comment to the end of it, like a bad pet name, but refused. He didn't want to encourage her.

Ashlynne was silent after the male's statement. He had proved a very true thing and just came to the conclusion that perhaps both of them are weird in their own right. Though she did think of something a little clever, "Ah, but are we complete strangers? I have an idea of how you are, though superficial. I would say we're acquainted in a sense at least." She continued to poke at the back of his neck with her paw as she said this, then pawing at his ear absent-mindedly.
"The only thing we're missing from each other are our names." Her voice hinted this as almost like an epiphany, like thinking out loud.
