Fely-- DURR. XD That's why we're discussing it now! I stated explicitly that this thing may not happen in a couple of years. I never said that this should be done within this year or the next, unless someone else posted that idea. There's just no way.
Edit: Anyway yeah I think Chicago would be fun and interesting, just have to think about the budget. We certainly won't be able to eat out every night without our money starting to dwindle fast... That goes for any place, really.
And I REALLY like the idea of doing it in 2012, during the 10th anniversary. That would be great!

I could cook! >.> Not even kidding. Get me a grill or stove and give me any budget and I could cook a huge meal atleast one night. (help would be welcome) If I can stock a pantry with an entire month's of food using only $40, I can cook SO a meal ^_^ Plus, then ya'll could see why I get forced to cook most of the meals my parents eat with me -_- both my mom and dad, what is that shit?
2012 huh? We just better hope that world doesn't decide to end when we gather...but wouldn't that be ironic? SO members get together and the world comes to an end.

Ave -- DURR FINE be all sarcastic. xD It's just that some people were worrying that they wouldn't be able to make it because of how old they are / whether they can drive, and I just wanted to reiterate that by the time we do this, we could probably include a lot more people than we can now.
As for Chicago, I was thinking that maybe we can stay in the city itself for a couple of days, but we would stay the rest of the time somewhere like where Kiku lives (I'm pretty sure you live nearish Chicago, kiku >.>). So in other words, Kiku would play host for the time being, but then if we wanted some fun city life, we can go to Chicago. lol I don't want to offer Kiku's place for her, but it's a possibility so that we don't have to book expensive hotel rooms for the entire time we're there.
And yeah, 2012 may be our best bet...Ave and I will both be out of school and hopefully have better options financially. And a few other people here would be able to drive and attend and so on. Plus we'd be celebrating 10 years! Like, holy cow.

Maybe my parents would let you use my house. Because we have an extra bedroom and my sisters can sleep together. xP there's also a Mariott nearby.

I live in madison wisconsin....which is roughly about 2 1/2 hours away from chicago. so not that bad of a drive n.n
We have a rather big basement that i can fit people in (it used to be a room mates room)
however...not entirely sure if i'll still be living in this apartment come 2012 lol either way though i wouldn't mind housing some people around here and suchwhat. -nods- maybe by then i'll have my own house thingy or something xD
either way i'm game for whatever <3

lol well if you move to Chicago and have a big ole place there, that would work too xD
yeah obviously we can't make concrete plans if this is going to happen in 2012 (or thereabouts). but since we were talking about it anyway, I thought that I might as well throw in my two cents that Chicago would be a good central location with a lot of options for crazy times. if we do decide on that city, then we can maybe figure out logistics of travel/lodging once we're closer to the actual time. x3

I'm really likin the sounds of almost all these plans. Rest assured by that time, around 2012, or even just a couple years from now I'll be able to go travelling on my own with less of a hassel, seeing as I'll be about 19-20.
So you guys keep up the good work with planning. It's makin me all happy and excited. :3
I'd offer up my place but A) Canada. B) There is shit all to do here. nyukyukyuk

This is amazing. I've only just joined, and the closeness of the members here is astounding. XD
I'd would be all for this, and my vote is for Chicago. Chicago is only expensive if you let it. There are plenty of cheap, nice hostels, or even splitting the cost of a hotel room would be super cheap. If all else fails, I live about 3 hours from Chicago, and crashing at my place might be acceptable (small apartment filled with animals FTW; Just me, my boyfriend, and about 15 animals; I promise it doesn't smell).
There's tons to do in Chicago, too. Even though it costs mucho money, Six Flags, the Zoo, Shedd Aquarium, etc. would be a BLAST.

That sounds nice and very sweet of you Chim, but... I don't know. n.n; I don't know you that well... we've only just met. But that might be different in a few years, so. *Shrugs* If you're willing to accommodate some people by then...
Oooh, we have a Six Flags in Texas... and a Schlitterbahn.. many Caverns... and I live smack in many acres of woodland. So if you guys want to come to Texas, we can hold bonfires and take a journey through the woods to the big creek we have. >.>

I know that most of you have only just met me too but I have an idea- what about Kansas City, Missouri? It's not very exspensive at all, it's got lots of cool places and fun stuff, it's in the middle of America so it's shouldn't be days away from everyone, and it's got lots of affordable but nice hotels. What do you guys think? By the way, we have Worlds Of Fun, Oceans Of Fun, should be getting a shlitterbahn soon, the zoo (which might be getting wolves), i live at a lake that we could swim, fish etc. in, we could even ride horses if we wanted to because one of my friend's family owns a ranch, we could go camping, and/or go to one of the bazzilion things to do in the city. it's really a great place

OKay, Im going to be honest: If this many people are planning on attending, staying at one persons house is not a good idea. We will easily run out of sleeping areas, comfort zones, not to mention transportation is going to be a big issue too. Sorry guys, but 10 of us on a bus and city travel will eat up a lot of time. So not only do we need to think of spending cash, we need to start thinking of rent vechiles which isn't cheap either as well as hotel rooms.
