Man, I'm starting to get excited, and I've just joined. I don't even know anyone here. *sighs* Although, if I'm still around by the time this thing's all planned out, I'd really like to come. Everyone seems so awesome (*couldn't think of a different word*) here. Kinda reminds me of my friends. Ah, but my vote's torn between Kansas City, MO, and Chicago, IL. I've only been to Chicago a couple times and never to Kansas City, so it's leaning more towards the Windy City. But, meh. I like to travel, so either's good. Gah, I still can't drive yet, although I plan to change that, definitely within the time this thing's actually finalized. Meh. It's still a ways off anyhow...

Hey everyone! I'm just letting y'all know that I'm also extremely interested in this. I've been dying to meet people since I joined a while ago and this is very exciting! I'm up for anything really... in 2012 I will be 20 therefore fully capable of attending. For places... I have lots of family in IL so Chicago is a good idea for me. I can work with anything though. I live in Georgia, close to Atlanta, about 20-30 minutes from it and therefore I could provide all kinds of stuff. I agree with Zizzie on the one house thing, but my house is pretty huge. If need be we have sleeping bags, air mattresses, regular mattresses, and tons of extra blankets. But if not or we decide on somewhere else maybe we'd have to have multiple people helping or something. I dunno.. since we're planning this is in the future its flexible... either way I really hope this can work out sometime in the future ^^

Yeah, the 2012 thing where the world is supposed to end.
That would be hilarious of SO was the cause of it.
Lawling at the thought

I'm completely reviving a months old thing aren't I? Yet how can I not, when it's something this exciting?
You said convention, right? And you said in a few years, right? Now, this is a VERY idealistic idea that probably won't happen(would cost a ton of money), but let's say we actually reserve some area and everyone meets up through hotels and whatnot. As for me, it would be rather hard. In a year, I'll be starting college, I live in Canada and I've never actually stepped out of the country thanks to my lack of a passport; there's also my parents to think about("Internet DANGER OMG OMG"). And I'm not the only canadian here. *cough* Blitzy *cough* So either way passports shall be used; that is, if we canadians actually go. >.>;

Not a giant event that would require the renting out of huge convention centers.
