So, i'm thinking about opening up shop to sell actual merch that you can use in your very own home that contains the shinkou ookami logo as well as pictures.
I'm just trying to get a feel for who'd be interested and the like...also wondering if people would be interested in a contest for a shinkou logo to put on said merch. There could be several winners and it'd be cool to see your artwork on various things n.n
leave comments below as well as ideas suggestions and the like...i'd probably be using cafepress for now but later on something different might be available.

Oh man!
I love the idea but the only problem is I think that most of us are in a weird non-job situation right now e.e; Or at least I am. But once I get flow of ca$h, I should love to buy something SO-related. Totally!
As for logos, my art skillz are nonexistent. But I still think it's a good idea, although it might be a while before people start buying. Just a caution, though.

see, right now i have the shop set up as something free ...so i don't think it costs me anything thing to leave it up with stuff there to sell so it won't matter if people are buying a lot right now. however, if things eventually do go well then i'll open a better shop and have more options. with the free shop i can only have one of one thing...so only one of a type of shirt and only only one design on that said shirt. with a better shop i can have a few shirts with different designs on them.
mainly i just wanted to see if people would be interested and what they would be interested in and yadda yadda. I think i'm gonna set up a contest though...perhaps get a calender started for 2010 n.n shinkou style. I'd be cool if the staffers all drew something for it xD even if you can't draw xD I'm not entirely sure how it sets up in terms of adding picturs and such yet but its an idea n.n

Oh okay then since that works for you n.n I'm not gonna protest! sure I can draw some...ABSTRACT ART for your calender.  or perhaps some stick figures. We'd only need 12 piccies for a normal calendar anyway. but choo can count me in, just let us know ~ ! |

Well I'd love to own a hat, underwear, calendar, and a T-shirt (TANK TOP PLEASE?!) but unfortunately I can't buy stuff online. ): I never have.
Edit: Kiku if I sent you money and also expenses to send things back to me, would you get the stuff for me if this works out? xD I could so totally do that shiz.

i think we could work something out like that -nod- i wouldn't mind having people send me money through the mail (check or money order, sending just cash is dangerous x.x) and i'll set their address as to where it will be shipped.  they'd have to include what they'd want and the like but yeah that could work. |

Same for what Ave said for me with the money thing! Lol I'd LOVE to have that stuff, t-shirt, underwear (lol), poster, calendar, and like a pen or notebook or a bumper sticker or something like that XD Ooo and I really want to send it pictures too! =D This is an excellent idea, Kiku! I love the idea of have a SO T-shirt and just a idea for a calendar, you might think about using the previous years COTM for each months pic. About the logo, would you want me to post my link here if and when I got one done.

i think i'm actually going to make an official thread in the gallery for the contest. once people have submitted what they want, i'll post it all and people will vote. if the art doesn't make it the first time i figure we can rotate possibly if people want to n.n meaning we'll have one set of artwork up for a while on the tee-shirts and then after people have bought their fill we can change it to a different picture.

Sounds like a pretty awesome idea to me =D I won't be able to post in the gallery my images though cause I don't have a scanner so they'll look really blurry or whatever... yanno not clear and all that jazz. Stupid digital camera lol I think what I'll do is just mail you some images xD Unless I go to office max and make copies and mail you the copies haha either way...
