This board has to deal with religion and myths in the world of Shinkou Ookami. There are hundreds of them, but I'll list a few of my own made-up myths and religions, specifically the belief systems of Demons and Druins.

Major Gods:

• Qem God of Life and Creator of the Universe and All Living Things. Represents light, goodness, and the sun. Benevolent, kind, and seen as forgiving. Was said to always be.
  
• Jikid God of Death and Creator of the Darkness and Demons. Represents darkness, negativity, and the moon. Some times visualized as evil--that is up to speculation. Vengeful, wrathful, and war-faring. Was said to be born accidentally (or on purpose; up to speculation) from a dark ball that Qem created at the edge of the Universe; this ball contained all of Qem's malice, negativity, and darkness, and from it sprung Jikid. Also visualized as Qem's opposite and his adversary; some say Jikid IS Qem as a much darker embodiment.
  

Minor Gods:

• Jziso God of Space. Created by Qem, and willed Jziso to spread throughout the vast nothing and create space.
  
• Kypo God of Time. Created by Qem whose purpose was to keep the flow of time moving throughout the Universe.
  

Notes:

• Qem created everything including Jziso and Kypo in the beginning. He is God.
  
• When the Earth was made, and all the living things in it, Qem wanted these things to be immortal and never die, thus having no gender. For a time, things were peaceful.
  
• Qem granted the spirits of nature to be born into the living things. Some were gifted great elemental power by these spirits.
  
• Qem went to the farthest reaches of the Universe and created a dark orb that was the embodiment of his malice and all things dark and negative. And from this dark orb sprung a thing so powerful, that it too became a god and was known as Jikid.
  
• Jikid is Qem's complete opposite, and represents things all dark and vile.
  
• Jikid saw the living things that Qem has created, and in jealousy wanted these things to die. And since it was his power, he willed it so, and so the things Qem has made were no longer immortal.
  
• Qem countered Jikid's power by creating an afterlife where the dead go, and made males and females so that they could procreate and form prodigies. Females give birth and create life, thus females represent life, while males cannot give birth and therefore represent death.
  
• Qem judges who shall live for eternity in his realm while Jikid takes those that Qem does not see worthy in his sight.
  
• Neither Qem nor Jikid is seen as evil; rather, they are both important factors when it comes to opposition, for all things in nature is seen to revolve around opposition.
  
• Balance is another important factor.
  
• Some view Jikid as evil and a great adversary to the great god Qem. If Jikid was never born, light and paradise would have remained on Earth. Qem may have willed Jikid to be born--this is open to speculation.
  
• Earth was originally supposed to have eternal sunshine and no darkness, but Jikid counters this with the darkness of nature, thus why balance and opposition is important in this mythology.
  
• Jikid soon created Moped'j, or Demons. They were his agents; his army.
  
• Qem was angered by Jikid's creation for creating life was his right alone.
  
• Thus a great battle between them ensued, making the earth shake and erupt in volcanoes, and the skies were darkened and thundering. A great lake formed a whirlpool, and from it sprung thousands of Spirits of the Elements. These Spirits conjoined with the souls of many living things, granting them control over the elements. And together the living things used their powers to abate the raging weather, calming the gods. Qem and Jikid departed, vowing to never mingle among the affairs of Earth any longer.
  
• Only Qem kept his promise, for Jikid, brimming with mischief, was always attempting to bend the world in to his will.
  
• Demons were used to do Jikid's bidding.
  
• Qem stopped Jikid from trying to create more, thus Jikid willed Demons to create a new type of demon called Druins.
  
• Created in the womb of a female demon, Druins were born to be super powerful demons and commence chaos in the known world in the name of Jikid. Jikid willed Druins to overcome the Demons, and it was so.

Book of Origins

Qem

1. In the beginning, when Space and Time did not exist, a bright star shone alone in the vast Nothing.
2. From this bright star the First Living Thing was born, the Origin of all things.
3. This Thing was Qem, the God that Created All.
4. And Qem stretched forth his thousand arms and built the Universe and made it Expand by creating the gods Jziso of Space and Kypo of Time, and within this Universe, He created galaxies and stars and planets that were to house Living Things.
5. Jziso occupied the Space while Kypo raced headlong and kept the flow of Time unremitting.
6. Earth became the First Planet, and with it Qem made the ocean and the sky, the rivers and lakes, green things, furry things, feathered things, and naked things all big and small, and soon the planet crawled with many Living Things.
7. Qem took from His chest His heart, and with it made the Sun, which shone down with all of His love to everything He Created.

Jikid

1. But Qem knew darkness and evil, and wanting no part of it, traveled to the deepest and darkest part of the known Universe and formed a dark ball that was the embodiment of all of His malice, darkness, and negativity.
2. From the dark ball sprung a Thing so powerful, that it too became a God, and He knew only the Things that Qem abandoned.
3. This darkness was called Jikid, and He went forth and brought with Him malice and chaos, causing calamity in the Universe.
4. Qem saw the disturbance in the Universe, but could not quell it, for the Thing that came had powers to match His.
5. Jikid saw the Things that Qem had created, and went to Earth and saw that they had Lived. And in jealousy He wanted these Things to die, and since it was His power, he willed it so, and so the Things created by Qem were no longer immortal.
6. And so Darkness fell upon the Earth, and Jikid plucked from His face his Eye, which was the Moon, so that he could Watch with pleasure all the things that he had done on Earth.
7. Qem had seen what Jikid had done, and with anguish came to His opposite.
8. 'Thou hast done a great Evil, but since thou came from My body, thou cannot be truly more powerful than I--and as long as I Exist, thou can never succeed in thy goal.'
9. Jikid listened with amusement for He knew that Qem spoke only half the truth.
10. 'Whilst Thou speak quite true, thou can never become superior than I. For we are Opposite Forces, and can never win against each other.'
11. For indeed as Time continued, they have proven that neither can win against the other, and thus the Universe had known balance.

Life and Death

1. And since Jikid has Created Death, Qem countered by Creating the Afterlife where the Dead shall go.
2. Qem also created the Male and the Female, so that all Living Things could procreate and continue their line.
3. Females give birth and create new life, thus females represent life, while males cannot give birth and therefore represent death.
4. It is Qem that judges on all the Living Things that He Created. When Living Things die, they will be brought before Him, and he will judge based on one's life. If the Thing has done good, they shall live with Him in His realm for all eternity, while Jikid takes the rest most unworthy in His sight.

Demons

1. Jikid willed to Create, and soon Created the Moped'j, or Demons to inhabit the Earth that Qem Created.
2. Demons were Created to become Jikid's agents since He has been constantly hindered by mingling in the affairs of Earth. Qem saw this and became very angry, and said,
3. 'O Dark King, thou hast once more slighted Me with Your indifference, and now I shall be rid of You once and for all, for Creation is My right alone.'
4. Jikid only laughed in mockery of Qem, and replied, 'Thou art not the only God in this Universe, and You have Created Me to Oppose You. This is My Existence, and the only Thing I know.'

The Great War

1. Thus a Great War between the two opposing Gods ensued, and brought the Universe into a great calamity, and Earth into deep turmoil.
2. The Living Things suffered the First Great Quake, which brought with it the eruption of mighty volcanoes, and churned the sky with thunder and lightning and raging winds.
3. A great Lake was formed, and within it's depths the water churned, creating a vast whirlpool.
4. And from it, thousands of Spirits were born, and all the Living Things conjoined their souls with them, and knew many powers of the Elemental Forces.
5. The Living Things calmed the fury of the Gods, and also the raging storms, and in sadness Qem drew away from Jikid and said,
6. 'I have brought this great calamity upon My Creation, so nevermore shall I bring My affairs upon them.'
7. Jikid said nothing, and went away.

Druins

1. Jikid saw that His Demons were strong, but He knew that He could Create something better.
2. But He could no longer mingle in the affairs of the Living Things on Earth, because Qem greatly hindered his attempts.
3. So Jikid willed His Demons to Create in the womb of a female Demon a more powerful Demon called the Druin, and so many Druins came to be.
4. Druins were unintelligent but strong and did everything He willed, or so He thought; but soon the Druins started learning and became smart.
5. Jikid willed the Druins to overcome the Demons, and it was so, but not truly by His will.
6. The Druins defiled their creators, and destroyed many and reigned supreme over many Living Things.
7. And Jikid's Eye smiled with glee at His Creation, but soon fell into a frown for the Druins did not see Him as their Creator or God.
8. Yet there was no way for Jikid to will the Druins into His Service, for they were strong and smart, and responsible over the Living Things.
9. Since the Demons were in His Service and His Creation, He willed them to destroy the creation that was not His, but the Druins proved stronger and smarter still and killed many more.
10. And Jikid became angry, but in defiance could not go to Earth, for Qem smiled and barred the Dark King's way.
11. Thus the Druins prospered on their own, these strange anomalies of Earth, but Qem saw that many were Good and therefore allowed them to live with His Creation.

Book of Ordinance

Fyno

1. Thus for a long time, Life has prospered, and Qem saw that Every Thing is Good.
2. But Jikid did not like what He saw, and glared jealously at all that Qem had Created, but could do nothing for Qem still greatly hindered His will.
3. So Jikid came to a great Demon of his kind, whose name is Fyno, and said to him in a dream,
4. 'I grant to thee great power so that you shall do My bidding; it is yours to do as I will, and also a power that not even Qem would dream of granting His Living Things.'
5. And Fyno awoke, and went before his fellows, all of whom were startled at what powers were vested unto him.
6. Fyno could now come before the Dark King Himself as he pleased, and listen to all that He had said.
7. 'Go now and build an army worthy of Jikid, and spread My word upon All Things that I will one day rise above Qem and become The Supreme God of All Things.'
8. And the Demon did as Jikid willed, and built an army worthy of Him, and all worshiped in His name.
9. Not all demons heeded Fyno's words, and conspired to be rid of him. But Fyno, with power greater than many, foresaw the conspirators and had them killed.
10. Thus Fyno again rose before his kin and told them that the Dark King Jikid harbored many a great commandment that all of His children must heed:

10-1--Jikid your God is The One and Only
10-2--Qem must not be worshiped, for he is unworthy of the title God
10-3--When my Sight has become round and full, all must sing and praise Me for all the blessings I have wrought
