Leon shrugged and leaned against the wall.
"Far as I can tell he is. He's one of those special guests I generally have at the parties. Building a partnership, so to speek." Leon said, generally waving off the rather strange meet with words.
It wasn't necessarilly a lie, more of a bluring of the lines of truth and fiction. Leon was, in a certain regard, building a trust between him and the seraph here, who, in effect, could act as a liaison between himself and whoever Xenophon worked for. It would also serve to help him better understand, for the most part, how December worked and lived. Obvious by the way he carried himself, Xenophon though himself above humans, and in certain regards, he was right. The level of technology that they had was far beyond the understanding or the reach of humans. The general build of the... man, for all intents and purposes, was that of a highly trained warrior, obvious from the sword on his hip, and the general way he hung his shoulders. Square and slightly forward, indicating that he was ready to defend himself at a moments notice.
Leon then looked up at Somni and smiled brightly.
"I see that you're going to weir your hair like you did at the last party. I must say that it's a very nice look on you, m'dear." He said, complimenting her appearance.
Aside from the extravagance of the introduction and the odd look about Xenophon, Leon believed that Somni wouldn't think any different of the man who stood with Leon, aside from wondering where and how they had met. Hopefully that would be the case and she would return to getting ready.
If she did, Leon would turn to Xenophon and motioned for him to join Leon in his room/ study. If he did, Leon would wait until Xeno entered, walked in after him, and closed the door behind them.
"Just what's your angle with December? What is it about me that she trusts, and why is it me? I know I'm inquisitive, but sure as hell, there's gotta be others in the same boat that I'm in. Albeit not as gifted in certain regards as I am, but a lot of people who are equilly or are smarter then I am. For thousands of years people have been questioning your existance, and in several different points in history, there have been acclaimed sightings of your race." Leon began, moving off towards the small bar he had in his room.
He opened one of the overhead cabinates and pulled out a glass. Closing it with his elbow, Leon opened a small freezer and pulled out a case of ice. Taking a few pieces out of the case, Leon let them plink into the bottem of his glass. At that, Mion sturred and propped himself up onto his front paws. Blearey eyed and hardly paying attention, he got out of his bed, shook himself vigerously, and then slinked towards the door, which opened quickly and allowed him out. The door closed behind him and resealed.
Leon rolled his eyes, turned and indicated with his glass, offering Xeno one as well. No point in being unsociable.
