I don't think this is violation of the rules, but I want to be clear on the issue as I have no desire to thoroughly offend anyone's sensibilities...but I was wondering whether slash is allowed on this site (that is, does a male HAVE to be with a female and vice versa)? I like to mix it up a little and try something different, but I don't want anyone chasing me with a proverbial pitch fork. I'm not talking about anything explicit (which I believe is not allowed regardless), so that people who don't like it won't have to deal with too much of it.

Having slash characters is fine! But explicit material is not welcome (such as extreme violence and sexual acts which is against COPPA law).
