In the cool winter evening, Thread galloped angrily through the snow. His eyes were shining like a polished crystal, yet dimmed by anger. He was unsure of what the anger was caused by, but he knew it couldn't be good. A large snowbank was coming up fast, so he dived. Inside the snow, he felt calmer and more alone. Here he could sort this out with the demon inside of him, before it broke loose.

The wolf lay quietly in the snow. The wind howled around her as she sat curled up in a ball. Her white fur allowed her to blend easily into her surroundings, making her nearly invisible on this night. With a sigh, Kaiya curled into an even tighter ball, protecting her nose from the cold wind. "This is ridiculous!" She said aggravated, rising from her position. It was far too cold. Deciding to put her sharp claws to good use, Kaiya began to dig...and dig... The wolf did not stop until she had created a small burrow. Leaping inside and curling into a ball, Kaiya sighed once more. It was much warmer in there.
Unfortunately, Kaiya's comfort did not last long. Her burrow shook slightly as an object collided with the snow not far from her. The burrow collapsed, pouring snow all over her and successfully making her even colder. Kaiya yelped in surprise and wriggled out of the fallen burrow. Now she was frustrated. "Damn it!" She shouted in aggravation her voice echoing in the empty evening.
(OOC: I'm not sure whether or not this topic was open...but I thought it was from what it looked like... if it's not just say so, and I will remove my post ^_^)

(ooc: Don't worry it's open)
Hearing the shout from below him, he pinned his ears and snarled loudly. His eyes burned red and his teeth were growing. "Who's There?!?!?" he roared. Digging deeper and deeper, Thread found the hidden burrow in the snow. Fury blinded him from seeing the white wolf below him. Large paws scrapped against a hard, and warm surface. Still seeing nothing he continued to dig. Still trying to find the thing that interrupted his silent argument.

(OOC: Awesome Kaiya shook her body vigorously, trying to remove the shards of ice and snow from her now wet fur. Sighing she turned to face her attacker. Seeing the wolf in front of her, Kaiya flattened her ears against her head and growled. Who was this wolf to destroy the comfort of her burrow? Who did he think he was attacking her without reason? "What do you want...?" She asked through a menacing snarl.
Kaiya tried her best to sound intimidating. She had no intention of fighting this wolf. She had no intention of conflicting with him at all. However, from what she could tell this wolf meant business. For whatever reason, he was very upset. This meant that he most likely had no intention of negotiation. She feared that speaking was not an option at this point. It appeared from this male's attitude that Kaiya would not be escaping without a fight. Despite that, She desperately hoped that it would not come to that.

A surprised snarl erupted through his clenched jaws. Trying to control myself, I started to back out of the snow burrow. My eyes still burned red, but the flame had died down. My demon was no longer angry, but unsure of what to do next. "I'm sorry" the voice sounded like someone was mechanically controlling him. Finally, he saw the white figure below him. Anger flushed through him again, this time he could control it well, but he still couldn't stop growling. Seeing the female he was attacking, weakness kicked in.
'Why did I hurt her?' he thought and looked down into the burrow. He waited for a reply, looking like he was about to tear her the pieces.

Kaiya jumped slightly at his sudden change in attitude. His voice had suddenly changed... hadn't it? The words "I'm sorry" sounded as though they were coming from someone entirely different. It was almost as if he were battling with someone; battling with himself. Shaking her head slowly, Kaiya gazed deep into his eyes with her blue orbs. "It''s... alright..." She said quietly. She wasn't sure whether his intentions were malicious or not. He appeared to be genuine in his words. However, his facial expression said otherwise.
He was growling at her; snarling at her. From what it appeared, he was going to tear her to shreds. Would she have to fight? It certainly appeared so. Kaiya thought for a few moments, trying to weigh her options. This wolf was larger and most likely far stronger than she was. However, Kaiya was confident that she was faster. Unfortunately, speed would do vey little in this situation. Kaiya was tired and very cold; nearly frozen to the bone. Running would not be an option. Of course fighting would be just an ineffective. Were she to even attempt an attack, she would more than likely find herself lying in a bloody heap.
Her only option left seemed to be negotiation. Aside from his muzzle which was was twisted into a furious snarl, he appeared to be an intelligent individual. Perhaps his foul temper could be countered by logic. Deciding to give it a try, Kaiya took a deep breath and spoke. Her small voice sounded very quiet, almost small. "Is there... any reason why you are glaring at me with such malice?" Kaiya thought for a moment, wondering why he would be upset with her in the first place. "Is this... your territory? I'm sorry... I could leave if you wish..." Kaiya stood her ground, watching the wolf carefully and anticipating his next move. She waited for a response, hoping that his attitude would die down a little.

Thread shook his head vigorously. His eyes began to dial back into his sapphire orbs. "No." The original voice was gone, and his normal tone was there to replace it. "This is not my territory... I have no territory" His voice was small, yet strong with emotion. "I am sorry if I frightened you. I do not mean you any harm." The once large and abnormally sharp teeth, were now a normal, grey wolf's teeth.
Placing his one bloody paw in the air, he began to submit to the female. "I just...I can't control it..." His bloody jaws were telling the utmost truth, but he just couldn't get the right words out.

Kaiya stared at the wolf, listening intently to his words. She watched as he began to change, his claws shortening and his fangs shrinking. His eyes changed color as he began to revert back from... whatever he was. "I see..." She slowly, closed her lips and ceased her malicious snarling. Apparently, he was of no threat to her. From what he said, he meant her harm. He seemed to be arguing with himself. His words sounded sincere enough. The female slowly nodded her head, deciding to believe him.
"You... can't control it? What... can't you control?" She asked quietly. She hadn't meant to ask the question. It had simply slipped out. Kaiya had a dangerous habit of letting her curiosity get the better of her. She quickly shut her mouth, realizing her mistake. She feared that her questioning may flare his temper and send him into another battle within himself. Whatever he was fighting, it was formidable. Kaiya did not want to cause another conflict.

Thread stared at the calmer female. Everything back to normal. he looked all around his body just in case. When he heard this question, he just froze in response. "I-I can't control him. T-Th-The one you saw before I calmed down." the sapphire orbs closed in a painful reaction to the answer. He dipped his head and sat down in the cold snow.
The memory of his parents were fading, but it was still enough to tear him apart. "why.." he muttered to himself. "why have I sinned in this way?" knowing the answer sickened him inside. "The one you saw before. It wasn't me... It was the-" He cut off not wanting to say that word.

Kaiya watched in fascination as the wolf spoke. Apparently there was someone; or better yet, something inside of him. Whatever it was, it was not a pleasant being. If it has caused him to become as a aggressive as he had been, then perhaps it was something to be very weary of. It worried the female that there was something this malicious inside of this wolf that he could not control.
"You... Can't control it?" she asked quietly once more. She couldn't help but be curious. What was it that he could not control? "Is it... Some sort of creature? Like... a monster of some sort?" Kaya asked quietly. She worried about his answer. It was a possibility of course. Could this wolf be holding something evil; something extre?ely dangerous inside of him. Perhaps this creature shared his entire being.

He shied away and nodded "It is a very evil being... It caused me to kill...my pack..." That felt like a blow from Lucifer himself. "But it wasn't just any mon-" his eyes shot back to crimson. "I try-- I try to hold it back."
Thread backed up suddenly. He was trying not to hurt her. It killed him just to see a female in pain. Even worse when he was the one who inflicted it. "The Demon-" He lashed forward. Lucky for the female, he landed a foot away from her. His warm breath wafted out in angry rasps. "G-Get Back!" he yelled and tried to keep from lashing out.

Kaiya looked sadly at the wolf. So he had murdered his pack. The wolf could not have imagined what he had been through. Her thoughts were interupted by a vicious snaring. He was losing control again. She had no time to react as the wolf before her leapt forward. Luckily, her position had been in her favor. The wolf landed a foot away from her growling furiously.
"Get back!" he shouted. He appeared to be battling furiously with himself. Deciding to heed his words, Kaiya leapt away distancing herself from the wolf. She curled back her lips into a snarl. She braced herself, preparing for the worst. She worried that she would not be able handle him in this state.

Fur was bristling up on his back. All sense of thought were being vanquished. Teeth and claws grew larger, and the deep gouges across His back bled furiously. Thread's jaws were forced into a crooked smile and he jumped ever so closer to her.
He wanted to move away, but his body was being controlled by this invisible being. As he lost more and more control, small ram's horns started to sprout behind his ears. A snarl and howl of pain shot out of his throat. "He he he... Nowhere to run" the deep, evil voice erupted, forcing Thread from control of his body. A battle stance was taken, and he began to circle her.
Thread wasn't there anymore, but he could see and feel everything happening. Those eyes weren't his. The body wasn't his any more. The cracked heart on his thigh began to fuse together. Forming a whole, bleeding heart.

Kaiya watched carefully. She noticed the change in the wolf's personality. He was no longer the male that she had spoken with. He was now something different; something evil and full of malice. He was circling her slowly. He was going to strike, Kaiya knew this. There was little she could do at this point. Were she to try and run, he would surely chase her down. Were she to stay and fight, she would die. Unfortunately, she was running out of time.
He was drawing closer with every second. He could strike at any moment. Deciding that she was running out of options, she came to a conclusion. "Hey... you're not... him are you?" It was not until this moment that Kaiya realized she did not know his name. She had never asked him. Of course, there were far bigger problems to worry about than names at this point in time. "Who are you...?" She asked quietly. Her voice wavered slightly. She was fearful, both for herself and the male before her.
