Viktor nodded as he followed the now panther. He kept his distance close as he followed her, he grew more and more trusting to the shifter after every second. She not only took him in for nothing, but protected him even after he confessed his crimes to her. And even now...He could sense the protectiveness in her as she lead the two through the forest. He kept his voice low to keep any followers thrown off their trail, "So, I think the person who saved my life deserves to know who she's saving. We are heading toward where I was changed." He signaled up, pointing toward the large holes in the line of trees. He scanned the ground until he found the bodiless clothes with a blanket of snow over them. He pushed the armor and clothes aside as he pulled a small, very bright device from the center pouch. He pulled flipped it over and pressed the top button with his muzzle. The screen shone to life showing a symbol of a silver apple with a bit in the top right of it.
The phone showed the picture of Viktor's lost love, he slid the small bar to the right and the device made a clicking sound and it showed several small icons on the screen. He pressed a video and the screen went from icons to flashing images that showed images of men running through the a desert, charging and screaming, using weapons similar to Viktor's. Large metal machines flew over head, attacking the men running. Viktor wasn't holding the device during the video, as he was too shooting the weapon that was laying on the ground just a few feet behind him. The men on the screen exploded in a mist of blood and gore as the flying metal machines ripped them to pieces. Viktor unslung his large rifle, and blew the cockpit wide open, instantly killing the two pilots. The helicopter came down toward the screen, then the video froze...Viktor turned the device off and put it back in the pouch, "That was the last thing I saw before I came into the world. War is my occupation, and without murder...I would be out of a job." He found a hollowed out log and dragged his armor and clothing into it. He looked the large, metal M107 and walked over to it. He knew it wasn't going to be easy putting it in the log, but it was too powerful a weapon for the humans of this world. He couldn't let the murderous technology of his world become mass produced in this one. He struggled to put the rifle in the log as he pushed the armor further back. He made sure both sides were covered, then turned to Misea, "Now that you know what my world is capable of...You know that we must prevent it from ever reaching this world." He quickly reached in the log and pulled his M1911 from it's holster. He gripped the grip in his mouth then threw it to the ground as he said; "This...Is the weapon that killed the wolf's mate. And this is a side weapon of my people, the larger version of the weapon is deadly and should not made in this place. You see, Misea. My world is falling off the edge, war and pestilence is everywhere, this place...This place is peaceful...ruled by the wild like mine was before." He retrieved the pistol then tossed it back into the log, then reached back in and held a necklace with a ring in his mouth. He sealed the log then looked to Misea as he attmepted to put it around his neck, "Alright...Let us move."

She hadn't meant to take them back to their first meeting grounds, where she had fist met the newly changed shifter. Her paws had merely carried her there, but as Viktor informed her of their location, Misae lifted her head and was honestly surprised. "Oh..." She said softly, her voice weary and tired. How much longer could she keep this up? How long could she continue on acting as if nothing were wrong, as if her body weren't getting weaker and weaker...?
Viktor was messing with something, a small rectangular block which lit up when he touched it. An image was there on the front of it, a young woman. She was pretty and Misae risked a sideways glance at the wolf. Was this the one he had lost? And how was she in that box? What was the box in the first place? Misae panted as Viktor went about his business, the moving pictures he showed her making the feline skittish with fear. What was this? It looked real, but how could it be? Then again, wasn't she looking at it with her own eyes? The recording soon ended, but not before showing the dragoness scenes of gore and death. It was horrible, these machines, what they could do... And he had brought those weapons here...
A smaller weapon landed in frontf Misae's paws then, sending the feline hissing away. Her hind end gave out though and she only managed a few steps before she was sent onto her haunches. "This...Is the weapon that killed the wolf's mate..." Misae's eyes widened, that chunk of obsidian metal was a killer. Oh calm down, it isn't as if you've never seen a gun before. A voice sneered in the female's mind. Sure she had seen human weapons before, the flintlocks rather than the strange ones that Viktor had possessed before his sudden change, but for some reason when one hardly has the strength to stand let alone fight for her life the world is a much more frightening and dangerous place. A fact the lithe shifter was quickly finding out.
Viktor then went on to explain how humans had destroyed his world with their metal weapons which bit white hot and their giant moving boxes with a nose which shot thunder and fire all in one. Misae was suddenly very afraid and very unsure of this male, weakness making her heart race just as much as her terror. Just who was she helping? What kind of monster did she now face? Puh. He is nothing compared to you... The voice sneered tenderly in Misae's sharp ears, a manic laughter echoing in the feline's head. The world seemed to warp around her, time racing on while she was left behind. Viktor had vanished, but his voice somehow remained. "Alright...Let us move." Misae tried to nod, tried to take that first step forward, some small shred of strength willing her to protect him. But it simply wasn't enough.
"Viktor.." Her voice was little more than a whisper as the world abruptly twisted on it's side, something cold slamming into the panther's side. White, wet, cold. Snow... The woman thought absently before trying to shake the fog from her head. She had been saying something, what was it? Viktor go. Go on. The words wouldn't leave her mouth and black consumed her vision. Everything went still and silent as the panther finally succumbed to the weakness her own body had forced upon her. That black form sprawled on its side in the white powdery snow. "Vik...tor..." And then she was gone.

Viktor turned around and widened his eyes as he watched the only person he trusted, fall to the snow in a heap of fur. He looked around, making sure nothing was advancing on his position. He rushed to her side and quickly assessed what was wrong her. He quickly asked as he said; "Great...The only person willing to protect me is down. Come on, wake up. Don't do this to me, I'm dead without you. Wake up, come on!"
For the first time in Viktor's life...He didn't know what to do. He was helpless, more than before. His medical and field training in to treat injuries was useless due to the fact of autonomy of his friend. He kept trying to keep her from drifting too far into unconsciousness, "Misea! Come on, do not give your life up, comrade. I cannot do this without you. Come on..." Viktor continued to watch Misea, in hopes luck would keep her from death. For all Viktor knew...She was dead.

"You should have known better, fledgling. You should have thought about the consequences..." Misae sat on the cold hardness of a cave floor, her knees bent beneath her and her hands tied behind her back. She could have broken through metal, had it been imployed, could have snapped any sort of rope, but the dragon's bane twined so carefully about her slender wrists held her easily. Her flesh beneath those binding was red and bleeding, rubbed raw from her attempts at escape. Nothing she had done made even the slightest tear in her bonds. Quite the reverse rather, with the open wounds the herb had a more devestating effect over the drgoness rendering her weak and unstable. Even if she did break free somehow, it would take days to regain her strength. No, there was no chance of escape.
"I tried to warn you, I really did, but you refused to listen to reason and look what it has cost you." The woman looked up at the man who spoke to her. Dark hair cut in a Roman style, cropped short with his bangs coming to a straight line across his forehead. Wide jaw, sharp nose, angled features, and eyes which could kill with a look. When one looked into them they seemed colorless, but how could they be when they were so dark and stormy? Then again, how could eyes hold so much hate and evil, one could write a book and still not capture the horribleness of those eyes. But the female shifter held that gaze, forced a blaze to enter her own violet orbs and glared back with a ferocity she couldn't demonstrate in reality. Her efforts did little more than gain her a slap across the face which sent her spralwing to the side, busting her cheek into the freezing ground. The man laughed, a wicked, rumbling noise, yet not even she could deny the beauty of the sound. He was many things, but no one could say he wasn't gorgeous.
"Still trying to fight me, eh? I told you, resistance is futile. You will either submit, or die here in this cave. Your choice." The man shrugged and sauntered a few feet away in the opposite direction to lean against the side of the cave mouth, watching leisurely at a storm which raged outside. "You know I have always loved rain storms, they fascinate me." He mused aloud, talking to himself to pass the time until his prize would break. He didn't have to wait long. "Alright..." Misae finally breathed, the movement of her mouth sending waves of pain through the entire right side of her head. "What's that? The little bird sings at last?" The man said, turning around with mock surprise coating his face. The dragoness was disgusted and intoxicated by him all at once, but not even lust could hide the snarled words she spat him while she struggled to sit upright. "I hate you..." Childish yes, but it recieved the reaction she had been hoping for.
The man faltered, he wasn't used to being resisted so completely. The words hung in the air between them as a silence spread through the atmosphere. A silence which seemed bloated by its own nothingness. They starred at each other, Misae with a cold, venemous glare, and he with a surprised, yet brutally knowing smirk. "My dear I admire your grit, in fact someday I might envy it, but for now it is merely an annoyance." He turned to leave and the woman's eyes widened with fear and unspoken hope. "You are leaving?" She called, forcing her voice not to shake with weakness. The man paused and a bolt of terror shot through the winged creature kneeling on the ground. "No fears, I will return for you soon... Farewell my daughter." And then he had dropped from her view, no scent, no aura, nothing remained of his presence other than the simple knowledge that he had been there. It was in this moment that Misae realized her dream, and in this conclusion the world shattered around the dragoness, leaving her falling through blackness...
Misae didn't move right away. What had awoken her? She had heard something, her name? She couldn't remember. I" cannot do this without you. Come on..." Oh, that's right. The dragoness struggled to move, struggled to help him. She needed to get him out of there, needed to get him to safety, but her body remained motionless. It was perhaps this desperateness which caused her to project. Normally being a somewhat weaker telepath, it must have been her unconscious state which sent her mind searching for Viktor's. She needed a way to communicate.
If the male were to allow her access into his thoughts, he might experience the feel of giant claws cradling his consciousness. However, rather than being a frightening or painful thing, it would seem comforting, reassuring, and almost sensual in its familiarity. She would be a polite guest in his consciousness, waiting for his acceptance instead of simply shoving her way in. If he did accept her as she hoped, he would see her as an almost goddess-like being. Without her humanity to guard her aura, the ancient strength, pride, and majesty of a dragoness would envelop Viktor's mind.
If she wasn't able to enter his thoughts, she would fall back into the slumber of her own body.

Viktor could feel something...different in his mind. It was almost like something was asking to enter his mind. He wasn't sure what to think, it might have been some evil force in the forest, trying to toy with his mind. But the feeling was comforting, almost home-like in it's presence. He tried to think about that bad, but all he could think about was the good, the things that were going right and would go right. Viktor quickly put the pieces together, the thing trying to get in his mind was Misea. It was the only thing that made sense, it had to be her. Viktor closed his eyes and opened his mind, letting the foreign presence enter his mind and allow it communicate with him. Viktor's past training allowed him to control his mind at will, they taught him how to push out any damning thoughts that would cause his body to react to polygraphs or anything that detected the body's pulses. However, Viktor had nothing to hide from the Dragoness as she let her enter his mind. He made sure the first mental images she saw were that of his own memory, the many battles he took part in, the fears of war and the dangers that arose within the battlefield. She had to see what he had, she had to know what that was like. But Misea wasn't the only one receiving mental images as he allowed her to enter his mind, he could feel her pride, her agelessness, everything that was Dragon-like. It was so powerful that for a split second, Viktor felt like a dragon. He shook his head as he reminded himself of his roots and the current situation he was in. But the feelings, come on, you can't seriously push it away like that?"I can and I will. I am not a dragon, and I will not fool myself into thinking I am one. Take pride in your humanity, we don't even have that right now." Viktor hoped Misea would communicate with him as he walked over to her unconcious body and sat down. It was only a matter of time before something else happened, and he needed a way to push through the already difficult times he was having. ((Sorry about the inactivity, been busy. ))

Viktor allowed her access to his mind, and Misae was ready for this. What she wasn't ready for was the thousands of memories which then flooded into her consciousness. The dragoness at first tried to ward off the visions, but they wouldn't end. The young wolf wanted her to see them. Alright.. Alright.. The female conceded, watching his memories with the cold detachment of her dragon mind. Each scene was analyzed, processed, and stored within Misae's own mind. They helped her to better understand the male she currently traveled with; helped her to understand what and who he was. Viktor was a soldier. It was what he was trained to do, he didn't know anything else. He couldn't have been a doctor, a chef, a teacher. No, from the very beginning he was destined to be a soldier. A fighter. A protector. Misae respected this in him, but she didn't have time to go through every memory with him. As soon as she could understand what he wanted her to, she stopped the flow of visions and burrowed deeper into Viktor's mind. She needed the connection to be a strong one if the conversation was going to last.
"Viktor.." Her voice might echo slightly, simply an effect of the telepathic link they shared. "Viktor I need you to tell me if I at all hurt you... I am not very good at this I am afraid.." Misae said softly, trying to rein in the sheer power of her leviathan psyche. "You need to leave, Viktor. You need to find a safe place, somewhere you will not be easily found. I cannot travel, my body has taxed itself out during that fight. My wounds... In order to heal them it took away too much of my energy. You must leave me here and find someplace safe. Please hurry." Her voice was pleading, almost begging him to understand and to obey. She didn't want him to go, didn't want to be left alone, but the dragoness refused to be the reason he was hurt in any way. And by staying with her he would definitely get hurt. He couldn't fight, his form was still too new to him, if something attacked - and with Misae unconscious to form such an easy prey item someone most assuredly would - then he wouldn't be able to defend himself.
"You need to hurry and get away from here, Viktor. Go! Go now, and go quickly!"

Viktor shook his head to contest her pleads, "No...I can't leave you here. Not like this...Misea, I have an idea, look into my memories look at my time in Colombia, watching the cartel leader for weeks until I moved in close enough to finish him. Then, I had to hide the body from dogs. They never found it, I can do the same with your body."
Viktor walked over her body and took a deep sigh, as he noticed she was a very large feline and he was a canine of much smaller proportions. He chuckled to himself as he thought; In times like this, it would be good to have a larger form. Eh, Misea? He dropped his head down and began pushing her unconscious body into the bushes just a few meters behind the two. He sighed as he spoke to Misea in a very quite whisper, "Please forgive me for this, but your winter coat is going to get a little dirty."
Viktor positioned her a bit further behind the brush as he turned around and began to digging fresh dirt with his forelegs onto her to hide her scent from the many packs that were no doubt lurking just around the corner. Viktor quickly dropped to his stomach and began to roll in the fresh dirt until he was sure the scent was nothing more than that of the Earth and not of a canine who's down on his luck. He hoped Misea would accepted his attempt to keep her body hidden if it came to him having to run and leave her behind.
