Alastolan smiled in response to Aiu's question before answering. "It's nothing. I was just thinking about how in the short while I've known you it's like you're a completely different person to how you were when I first ran into you. That and I was praying you find someone just right for you who can give you the attention you deserve." His bi-colored eyes glimmered in the light of the moon and stars as he turned his gaze once again to the starry sky. "Nights like these remind me of the good times I had with my mother and father. They would always take me to see the ocean on the night's of a full moon. Have you seen the ocean on those nights before Aiu?"
(( OOC: I would send it too you but it's a big file =( ))

Aiu smiled shyly and turned her head down at Al's kind words. If she had been capable of it, the young femme might have blushed at such thoughts. "Well... I suppose you're a good influence on me then..." She replied, though there was a lingering darkness to her words. You haven't changed... You've just gotten better at lying... Her voice sneered wickedly, luckily Al was there to jerk away Aiu's attention from herself.
Emerald eyes turned up to the night sky, the stars there causing them to sparkle and dance with their dancing lights. "No...." The slender she-wolf murmured, a sad look coming over her face. "I've never seen the ocean. Alone... Or with my family..." Sorrow was plain on her face as she turned to look at Al. "You're lucky you know... A family is a precious thing, you're lucky to have had one.... I can't even remember mine anymore except in flashes of visions of a past that I never knew happened. Usually, it's like I just sprang out of the Earth. I don't know of my origins... And they're taking their time in revealing themselves, heh..." The adolescent female fell silent and lowered her head to her paws. "Sometimes I wonder why I didn't disappear with them...." Aiu whispered, her voice little more than a breath as she pinned her snowy ears against the thick fur of her neck.

Alastolan's gaze didn't leave the starry sky above them once even as Aiu replied. "No...." His smile faded slightly as she said this. "I've never seen the ocean. Alone... Or with my family..." His eyes turned from the sky to Aiu, who was now looking at him with sorrow spread across her face. "You're lucky you know... A family is a precious thing, you're lucky to have had one.... I can't even remember mine anymore except in flashes of visions of a past that I never knew happened. Usually, it's like I just sprang out of the Earth. I don't know of my origins... And they're taking their time in revealing themselves, heh..." His eyes filled with pity as he heard these heartbroken words spoken. His ears perked up as he heard her say something so quiet. Barely audible to his ears. "Sometimes I wonder why I didn't disappear with them...." He nuzzled his nose across the back of her neck as her head layed down by her paws now. "You didn't disappear with them because there is a reason you were born. A purpose which you have yet to fulfill. Everything that lives, lives because it hasn't fulfilled the purpose it was put here to complete yet. Everything that dies, dies because it has fulfilled its purpose and is destined to fade away leaving behind only the legacy of its accomplishments. No matter how big or small the accomplishment may be." He smiled once, still looking down at her. "Think of the trees and plants. They bloom with life in the spring and summer. They are put here to fulfill the purpose of showing us the beauty of this world and to provide the insects and creatures that thrive in those times food and shelter. In the fall and winter that life fades away as it fulfilled its purpose and left its legacy. The legacy that exists in your memories of its beauty. Creating food, shelter, and memories. Those are a trees accomplishments." Alastolan paused for a few moments allowing Aiu to take in what he was saying and mull it over. "Now think of your parents. Some may never know what their purpose was or is during the life they live, but I think the purpose your parents were destined to fulfill was to bring a life into the world. To pass on the gift of life. The legacy they left behind... was you. Their life is gone because they completed their purpose. You however have not. All you can do is live your life the best you can. Remember the past and learn from it, focus on the present and live for the moment, and look to the future. Do those three things and you will fulfill your purpose whether you realize it or not."
A smile crept across his face as he began playing with Aiu's ears a bit trying to get her to perk them back up. "Don't be so sad. While some may be considered to be 'more fortunate' than others... I believe it's the less fortunate who are the ones that are stronger in life. Both physically and mentally. It's their hardships that they face which others don't that strengthen them. You may not remember your past, but the past is always being created. For every moment that passes it becomes a new memory. If you can't remember your old one maybe you should try to make a new one. One in which you can look back on and smile. Times such as tonight and meeting me. People and places you'll never forget." He muttered his last few words to himself out loud. "Places you'll never forget..... What do you say we start traveling to Asanagi Ocean in the Akeru Packlands starting in the morning? The full moon is seventeen days away and it's always clear in the sky there. That will give us plenty of time to get there. I want you to see it. The beauty you'll witness as the light of the full moon and stars dances across the ripples and waves of the ocean... the sound of the waves crashing against the shore and cliffs around the beach.... The smell of the salty air... The feel of the cool night time breeze blowing across your body and the soft sand beneath your paws.... all those feelings combined are the living embodiment of the words tranquility and paradise. Let your mind go blank and your eyes wander freely when you're in such a place and you will forget everything negative in this world and about yourself. A state of bliss overcomes you. You feel calm and at peace with everything." Alastolan's eyes were closed as he spoke. Describing it as his mind drifted into the memory of his first time seeing it for himself. His eyes opened and he once again looked at Aiu with a wide smile spread across his face. "I'll take you to the EXACT spot my parents took me when I was younger. I know an area near the ocean there I can keep you until nightfall. That way you can close your eyes before you see and hear it so it will be a surprise. A memory that will never fade for as long as you live."
