Indeed, quite a strange bunch after all, and when it became evident that they would all journey together, Starmyst quite believed that Rhan, Goddess of Fate and Destiny, had something in mind for her after all. She gave a laughing sort of smile to both of them. “Of course I do not object to more company. Besides, with companions like you, I would be less likely to be randomly attacked just because of my appearance.” A possibility that she was quite aware of. So many creatures out there instantly loathed what was different, what they did not understand. She hadn’t had any assaults like that yet, but she had lived long enough to know that the possibility was out there.
But it was decided. “Let’s not dally in this hot place any longer,” Starmyst said, making several strides forward. She gathered her feathery wings around her as tightly as possible, not wanting to take up too much space. “There are not too many clear trails here, but the one in front of me here was what I was following…hoping that it would get me out of this swampy maze eventually!” She smiled at them both. What interesting bedfellows indeed.
