As they head into the shade, the sounds Malkon makes against the grass stop, he becomes completely silent, except for saying, "I will help as long as I can, but..." He then looks to the west before continuing, "I may just leave one day, it's happened before. I don't know why... I just, sorta, leave." As he finishes, he looks back at her, then up to the leaves as one drops from just above her head.

Still watching the leaf flutter slowly down, he responds, "Oh? Well, I'm sure I had reasons, no matter what they may have been. What I do now... I can't even explain it, much less find a reason." As the leaf lands by her foot and she finishes talking, he looks back to her and says, "Yeah? What might that be?"
