Arrival of the Black(Crazy Silly Optimist...)

Ah yes, a typical question indeed. In the past, most had joined her cause for their own personal vengeance or other reasons, in one case she had sought to use an entire group's motivation for a slightly different purpose in carrying out her will. It hadn't worked out entirely, especially since the group really had their own agenda for wolf-kind, and they hadn't encountered the cougars she sought either, but that was a whole other story.

She smiled slightly. "I suppose that's somewhat up to you, in truth. Seeing as you currently merely travel as you told me, perhaps it could give you a bit of fun. I don't feel you as the type to do it for the sake of those you would save from their massacre, however as a chance to demonstrate your own power, that I could see."

After a pause, she inquired, "What do you say?"

He hesitated, listenign really only to that final quesiton before chucklng, a toothy smile crossed his face as he rested his ehad on a raised wrist, "Sounds very entising to be honest.", he chuckled... he had his desire marked here...

He finally raised himself, "But.... mmmmm...", he thought for a moment, and took a dreadfully long time at that, he rubbed his chin with a claw before chuckling deeply... perhaps...

Vellina's ears were tuned toward him, his hesitation, yet his agreement. She waited for what he would say. It would be a lie to say whatever he chose was no matter to her. Each wolf who joined her group made them one more strong, one more powerful, one more likely to beat these cougars. But her face remained calm.

She saw as he rose, chuckling to himself. "I suppose I'm taking that as a yes," she said, though indicated a slight question toward the end. She in no way wanted to make him feel as though she was making his decision for him or forcing him. But if he did want to join her, she was showing she was entirely accepting of it. Perhaps afterward, he might want to meet some of the others? She wasn't sure... for now she needed confirmation either way from him. Whatever his decision would be.

He leaned his head back with a slow shift of his weight, "I will Heed... for now...", he agreed with a slow nod of... mild interest. He turned his body slightly toward her, "Well im not wanting to sit in this blasted cold forever... surely there must be a... tolerable place nearby?", he asked... hopefulyl she was aware of this land more than he was.

His tail rose out of the snow last and flicked to the side, ridding it of the cold as his dark black fur bristled a bit, as if naturally flicking the snow off his hide. The male looked ehr over yet again, and without flaw as to giving it away either...

Vellina dipped her head slightly when he finalized his response. She couldn't help but feel a bit of accomplishment, though it was quickly dismissed. Her purpose was far from over. She listened as he mentioned a warmer place. "Indeed," she murmured, rising and shaking out herself. "Although admittedly, I could make things warmer with us just sitting in this spot." She smiled slightly, and then turned. "However there is a cave of sorts nearby."

With that, she would begin moving through the trees once more. It wasn't that she was that familiar with these lands in particular. In fact, she much preferred the Fire Wells far to the south. But it wasn't to say she had never been here before. Her travels had literally lead her to all the surrounding lands and in her search she had encountered many in each place. So yes, she knew a few things.

Soon, they would see a break in the tree line and a place where the ground they walked upon appeared to drop into nothing. She approached this 'edge' and leaped down, landing in a heap of snow below. Tiberius would then see that she had leaped over a ledge which made the roof of the cave they would now be entering. Vellina had used this cave before in her time here and was glad to see it was undisturbed. Well at least on first observance. She would then set to expanding the heat she had been sustaining about her person to fill the small cave, making it feel quite comfortable.

"Hope this suits you..." she stated.

Tiberius padded in, so she was a fire element... huh... interesting. The balck male merely strolled inside, "Not bad...", was all he said without much to add on. Of course he didnt prefer sleeping on jsut the rugged cave floor... with a slight hop of his large frame, and a shakey landing, as well as a small utterence of words, the gorund uplifted ebfore him, and off to the right, a rectangular prism of solid rock rose, flat and shale-like.

He merely raised himself onto it and plopped down with an aging huff... well... she was fire, he trailed his claws along the rock surface, "Could you be a dear and heat this up for me?", he mused with a narrowed eye... teasingly almost, but with a proper tone. The cold stone he didnt prefer, even at room temperature.

She observed his own talents mildly, though said nothing. She wasn't surprised when he asked a favor from her... and she supposed it wasn't too much considering he had chosen to join her.. She focused her attention on the formation he had made from the stone floor. Her eyes took on a faint orange glow and he would feel the surface begin to warm. She remained in that state for a while until the entire formatin was heated and then stopped, lying down herself. Perhaps rest was in order and then they could be on their way...

After several hours, Vellina awoke, uncurling from her position and stretching. She had grown cooler in her sleep, since she hadn't been warming herself.. but that was okay. They would be on to warmer climates soon enough. She glanced over at Tiberius and if he were still sleeping she would wait for him to wake up before speaking, though if he were already awake she would say, "I hope you rested well. We should head to warmer climates, don't you think?" And she would know just where...

If he agreed she would proceed out of the cave, stretching her wings and giving a few test flaps before taking off. Admittedly she didn't use them as often as some.. and soon the landscape was passing by.

Tiberius grumbled as he woke, "Hm?", he asked before raising his head, looking up and watching her leave, "Eh, very well...", he himself stood up and watched ehr take off, sighing as he padded to the cave exit, as he did the sickening stretching sounds of his hide sprouting large, torn, bony, blood stained angel wings... just feathered enough for flight... at least they appeared that way.

He spread them wildly, and arched them back before leaping into the air and with a violent beat, he launched skyward, his tail enlonged a bit for a more aerodynamic. He craned his head about as his teeth enlongened a bit, his ears folded back at the cold air. Naturally he brought his claws up along his chest as though he were bipedal, he flew a bit like a Western dragon, but he was not of that decent, his wings were jsut laid out on his structure differently.
