Snow Wolf in Snow Land (open)

(( Sorry!! I'm apart of the Mock Trial team at my school and it started recently. I've had a TON of work to do, I haven't had time to do more than one post at a time.))

Danimos spotted the cave in front of them. "I guess we will find out." Danimos meandered inside and found a warm, dry spot. He circled a couple of times before dropping down and placing his head on his paws.

(that's ok I just have no life and I've been getting bored)

Lykaios trotted in the cave after Danimos. She picked a spot a few feet away from him and curled up, the blue tip of her tail covering her nose. "Good night," she said. There was a light laughter in her voice. She hadn't felt this relaxed around another wolf since she left her pack. It seemed almost too good to be true. Lykaios sneaked one last glance at Danimos before closing her eyes.

Danimos slept a fitful sleep full of dreams. He could see himself, fighting a dark wolf. That wolf, a part of him knew, was simply another part of him, but it still seemed like a stranger. Some of his dreams ended with his paws bloodied. Some ended with him on the ground bleeding. Either way, he awoke still exhausted. But he was strong enough to keep moving. He stood up slowly, looking at the sunlight streaming through the entrance. He stood up and yawned.
"At least I'm still me."

Lykaios dreamed of her old pack for the first time since she came to this place. Her friends and family turning against her. Howling for her blood. She ran, but it was no use. Her dream self turned her head to see her love snarl and pounce on her.

Lykaios yiped and jumped up. It took her a second to realize where she was. Danimos was already awake. Hoping he didn't hear her yipe, she greeted him. "Good morning. Glad to see you are a morning person today." Her eyes were emotionless. A cold breeze came in through the enterance if the cave. "Well let's not waste any time and get going. Thunder is probably way ahead of us." She walked outside the cave and stopped a few feet from the enterance waiting for him.

Danimos shook himself quickly and ran out to join Lykaios. "Have a pleasant night?" Danimos asked in way of small talk. He chuckled to himself. "Because mine sucked."

Lykaios angrilly growled. "Yea mine was not that great either." She shook her head and ran faster. "I hate dreaming. It never ends well. Hurry up let's get out of this place."

"Already two steps ahead of you," Danimos called behind him as he walked out of the cave. He sped up his pace to a steady jog. "We need to cover a lot of ground."

Lykaios jogged easily beside him and a silence fell between them. Afraid if saying the wrong thing, Lykaios said nothing. She was lucky to have a goal rather than moping around in the mountain.

Thunder sat silently as her tail twitched. The heat was opressive and made her itch to get away but she had to stay and wait for the pair of wolves she had led here. She could make out their forms in the distance but could not smell them, as there was no wind to speak of here and the lava under the ground threatened to burn her to bits. There was no emotion in her posture and she was sleepy so with a yawn she decided to lay in waiting for them to catch up.

"There," Danimos looked to where he saw Thunder in the distance. He was tired, and grateful to see an end to walking. Danimos was active, and a little walking normally wouldn't bother him, but he had been off his game lately.
When he approached Thunder, he nudged her gently.
"Thanks for bringing me here."
