Cercius runs towards Bane, snarling as he meets the older wolf's pounce, their heavy bodies colliding with a crash, and Cercius manages to rake his claws, merely nail deep, along Bane's flank, his mind reeling as the wolf jumps off and OVER him. "No! I can't let him hurt her again!" "No! I won't let him escape!"
Cercius lets out a howl of anger and frustration, turning on one foot, slipping on the mossy ground and scrabbling for purchase, "Ah putnan voh, Sikla!"

Bane landed easily on the other side of the wolf creature, barely feeling the scratch. he ran towards the river, scattering a small group of the pink-things that had come along the river's edge to avoid the thicker forest area. He landed in the water and found himself caught by a surprisingly fast current. He felt himself being pulled down river, but the water did not make him fear. He knew the fast current would last only so long, he had thrown himself into raging currents before just to see what would happen, and this current was mild compared to some he had been in. As he went further down he saw a part of the river freeze, and saw his child, his fearfully angry and powerful child, sitting at the rivers edge. In the eyes of Ragnar Fenris Bane saw something that made him feel something like fear, only far worse, this strange kind of fear made him unconsciously tuck his tail between his legs and urinate in a submissive manner.
Fen sat at the rivers edge, he knew if he jumped in his own ice would freeze him in place, and at his current level of anger, he knew that he could not just turn the chill off. He began breathing deeply, calming himself, gaining a small degree of satisfaction from the terror in Banes eyes. As he calmed he felt the cold seep into his bones, felt the hunger in his belly from the constant healing. As he shook, he felt one of the Villagers throw a horse blanket over him, felt the heat from the horses body still in it. He was surprised that the humans could see the difference between him and Bane, but he did not over think about this gift. He felt several humans press against him, heard strange murmurs from their lips.
What Fen did not realize is that this group of humans saw wolves as messengers of the Gods both Good and Evil. It was something most likely caused by the number of wolves with strange powers, but it could have been something they came with. As they pressed against him sharing their warmth, they were also seeking divine protection from their own, everyday woes.

(( Do you still want Cercius to come after Bane? I'm pretty sure that he'd rather help the girl than run after Bane, especially knowing that Fenris is going after him, and the condition of her. But if you still wish me to continue, I will do. ))

(Fen is going to go to the woman anyway, knowing she's hurt, So Cercius doesn't have to keep chasing.)

The two wolves run over Cercius' scrambling body, leaving him behind in the dust as he roars. "The girl!" "The chase!" "We have to get her somewhere safe!"
But she had already began her escape, her ragged stump and aching arm sending bolts of pain down her tired body as she crawls. She doesn't know where, only that she has to get home, only that she has to be away from that monster, that creature that stole her from her parents and her life, from her village and her friends. From safety and towards the gaping maw of waiting wolves.
She hadn't gotten far, but to her, it felt like miles, decades of crawling in a darkening world as her life leaves her body, slowly, painfully...
Cercius picks up her body, concern on his twisted face. "Should have left her..." She whimpers quietly, trying to get back to the floor, to crawl away. It hurt so much... He holds her hand, hushing gently as he looks into her clouded blue eyes, even as she begins to sob again. It wasn't fair... It wasn't fair at all! She didn't want to die! She didn't want to die! Not like this! Not in some god-forsaken forest full of animals just waiting to eat her alive! Tears run down her face, and her words freeze in her mouth as his massive green eyes stare into hers, fierce and angry. Not like this.... Cercius sighs, looking up to the skies with a breath of relief, she wasn't going to die from infection at least, because she'd kept the wound clean, crawling along on her okay arm, and he murmurs to her, "Es gĂșt Drappa, slenir, nort vornal..." He looks around, looking for the weed he knew would help the wound close, and the bitter fruit that would keep her awake, and, spotting it, he softly puts her on the soft mossy ground, gathering some of the green plant and firmly pressing it on the wound, ignoring her cry of pain, knowing it would soak up the blood and prevent infection. "This is Sphagnum Moss, you understand? This will make sure your arm isn't poisoned. Stay here, I won't be long, I'm going to help you, understand me?" he asks, his eyes boring into her as she curls into a ball, huddling away from him. He sighs, standing straight, and turning."Stay." he commands, walking a short distance before beginning his climb up a tall tree, his eyes fixated on the orange fruit high off the ground.

Fen found Cercius and the woman quickly, once the humans had warmed him and fed him he felt in almost top form, although his right flank was still stiff from the muscle becoming completely frozen then thawing without full use of his regeneration.
He watched Cercius apply the moss, a technique he used himself to avoid using his power too much. the woman was very weak, and Fen himself was too tired to help her. He may have been healthy and in no danger of dieing now, but he had used up much of his energy tracking down the woman injured by his monster of a father.
He kept his distance from the woman, feeling she would confuse him with Bane, but kept an eye out for any other predators that might take a chance at an easy meal. he would have healed the woman, but his ability to heal others could not bring back a severed limb. His own healing could regenerate an ear, or a few teeth, he'd managed to regrow a lung once too, but he did not think it could bring back a leg or his tail.

((OOC: I'm sorry for intruding but would you be okay with me joining this RP? Maybe Nyx can try to protect the woman, or maybe she could trust the Wolf and use her healing to help her? She has a good knowledge of herbs or she could use the power that she gets from the moon? Whatever is fine just let me know. Thanks!))

This beast... Her mind was wondering... Should she thank him? Was he even being nice to her? Was he trying to save her?
She looks as her arm, lying on her red dress... Was it always red? It was blue at the edges... Her eyes slowly droop as he begins to growl his odd, slurred words again...
Then he put the moss on her arm. She sat bolt upright, eyes bulging and ears ringing, mouth hanging open. Was she screaming? She clamps her okay hand over the moss, not letting it move, she was short of breath and the world was shimmering. She closes her eyes, telling herself it would only be a minute...
But there was something watching her, and she peeled her heavy lids open once more to peer into the bushes. She was alone again and she had lost sight of the thing that had been human, it would have been a brilliant opportunity to escape... If she'd of had the energy...
