Trouble Follows (Open)

Fera yawned, stretching her mouth out and showing her huge fangs. She then stretched her paws out, her claws coming out of her paw with them. The little ocelot stepped back to admire her work. She had dug a hole in the ground beneath two trees in a jungle. she had then covered that hole with leaves and twigs, hiding it from view. She chuckled to herself. This was gonna be fun.

Fera climbed up one of the trees fluently and easily. She reclined on one of the branches and looked out toward the path leading to her trap. She lay there waiting for someone to come.

Einemauge walked through the jungle. Having just arrived in Shinkou he wanted to familiarize himself with the landscape and the pack borders. He moved through the woods silently, trying not to alert anyone who might be in the area. He issued a shout as he suddenly fell through a hole dug in the ground.
"Ah, What the ! Son of a... who's out there?"

He directed his voice towards the surrounding jungle, waiting for a response.

"What the ! Whose out there?" Fera roared with laughter, so much she almost fell out of the tree. She jumped down to look into the pit. "Hey there buddy! Looks like you're trapped!" Fera continued laughing at her own joke, even though she knew it wasn't funny. "Need any help?" she called mockingly.

Einemauge glared evilly at the ocelot that now stood before him. If looks could kill, she would definitely be dead right now. He adopted the most menacing look he could muster (not hard considering the circumstances) and growled through barred teeth.
"Yes I need help you little..." He sighed to himself. "Yes. Could you please help me out of this."

Fera snickered and looked down at the wolf. He looked dangerous, experienced...Should she continue? Perhaps she should just let him out. no, danger never stopped her before. She steeled her resolve and looked him in the eye. "I could help you, but I would want something in return." Fera's tail tapped inquisitively on her head. "What could you offer in return for your release?"

On one hand, Einemauge admired the audacity of the ocelot before him. On the other hand, it also made him want to rip out her throat. Swallowing down his temper, he answered. "What do you want?"

Fera's smile never faltered. "You know, something...I don't know, valuable. Or anything that could, say, 'help me?'" Fera turned her attention back to her captured wolf.

Einemauge looked up at the top of the hole, judging whether or not he would make it if he jumped. At the same time he was thinking of what he could say to the ocelot to let him out. He figured that the hole was dug too deep for him to get out, so he started to think of something he could say. "I've been traveling. I'm sure I've got something that will help you. What do you need, information?"

Fera continued to drag the conversation on. "Information...Yes, or perhaps your services. That is, if whatever you do can help me."

Ashi was just walking along the forest when she heard the voices. Sneaking over to the bushes, she sees an ocelot talking to a hole. "How strange. I'll never understand these felines," Ashi thinks to herself. "Oh, well. Maybe there's something in the hole." Ashi took control of her shadow, not wanting to go into the bright sunlight, and let her shadow do the work. Sure enough, a wolf was in the hole. Ashi's shadow briskly grabbed the other wolf's shadow by the scruff and hauled him out.

As Einemauge was thinking of a way out of the predicament he was suddenly lurched up by seemingly nothing. Surprised, he shouted. "Woah! What in the is going on here?"

Fera thought she saw a shadow move from the corner of her eye. But she didn't count on it pulling her prisoner out of his cell. She hissed angrily and scurried up a nearby tree, hopefully out of reach of a rabid, angry wolf. She reamined there and hissed again at the gathered wolves.

Ashi calmly gazed up at the ocelot in the tree, the set her gaze to the other wolf. "I hope your alright," she said coolly, and turned her head to the ocelot. "Do you mind telling me what this is about?" Ashi asked, her curved black horns glinting in the sun.

Fera hissed again. She then said, "Just a wee prank i was pulling." Fer smiled amiably at the two wolves. "I meant no harm," Fera continued, her voice like ice. She then whispered quietly to the tree, commanding it to grow. Some vines grew, snaking up the tree just as she had hoped. She dug her claws in the vines and climbed higher in the tree to insure her safety.

For the moment, Einemauge didn't acknowledge the other wolf who had saved him. Immediately after he was out of the hole his eye adopted a sinister look and he rushed to the tree where the ocelot was hiding. He tried to climb up but was thrown off as the tree began to grow. "D***. Can't get away from magic today." Einemauge spoke to himself then looked up at the ocelot and spoke with frightening sincerity. "You're going to have to come down sometime. And when you do, I'm going to tear you apart." He turned to the other wolf that had saved him. "Thanks for the help there. I owe you one."
