The weather around the area was humid beyond belief. But it wasn't because of the low hanging clouds, but rather the heat coming up from the surface of the world. Volcanoes were bubbling and spewing things into the air. The geysers spewing up, the waters turning beautiful hues. The plants were rich, a byproduct of the rich soil in which its roots grew into.
It was around midday, the sun slowly creeping downward. Pink and green eyes watched it with slight care. Long tail tipped up and down slowly. Zivan re-arranged his position, sighing as he settled down again. This was what he loved. Being out in the world and relaxing.
A gust of win blew by, carrying with it the scents of the jungle. So calming. He could smell his own scent lightly coming out, relaxing him even further into the bed of soft grasses.

Fighting a headache, they seemed to come often for Ashlynne and a slight side effect of her amnesia. She also knew that dry air tended to mess with her mind once in a while. Finding herself in a large field just west of a smoking volcano, Ash saw the greener landscape ahead and made her way to it. The sun descended in the sky a little by the time the grass below her grew more lush and the air began to thicken. Inhaling deeply, she could already feel her headache dwindling. Then suddenly, a loud rushing hiss came from her side and she jumped. Seeing it was a geyser, another one erupted a little further away. Now it made sense as to the cause of the such humid temperature and green that surrounded her.
Striding up to a nearby stream, Ash licked labrums, lifting her head to look around. Releasing a sigh, she had no idea what to do. So boring all alone and no one to share anything with. Not that she was ever really that extroverted... Tilting her head up to the tree, she smiled, "You seem so green and big for being so close to such a destructive force...tell me, what's your secret?", she then giggled to herself and began to walk away. Continuing to mutter to other inanimate objects, she wasn't paying much attention and began to walk off a cliff and onto a gathering of vines and small trees that grew out from the cliff. Strong enough to hold her weight at the inside, the more she traveled out, it weakened and with one final step, her paw fell through and she began to tumble down the grassy incline. Unprepared, Ashlynne yipped and let out grunts as her body bounced until it reached the bottom. Rolling, her face hit something soft and warm. Bouncing back, Ashlynne finally opened her eyes, dizzy and a white form spinning in front of her along with the rest of the world. "Huh?..", Ash muttered to herself. Eyes finally done rolling around, she blinked a few times to focus and found a white furry mass in front of her. Still confused, especially because of the strong scent of sweet flowers, orbs scanned and finally tilted her head up to find a head and sideways to see the rest of the body. Startled, she scrambled back a little, "Holy Ssssnap Dragons!", she shouted at the site of the large, wolven animal that she tumbled into.

It was an easy going day for him. Thoughts tumbled into his mind, thingslike he should get back to the towers just in case he was needed. But screw that, even one as awesome as he was needed time off every now and again.Ears twitched as noises drifted this way and that. But one in particular caught his attention and he liefted his head, looking about.
The sound was getting closer and quickly. Finally, Zivan resulted in looking up. And that was just in time to have something furry roll right into him. A soft grunt left him as she rolled right into him and he lifted a brow as he looked down. Tail twitched and then she was scrambling back, as if he were anything but good looking. She let out what he could only call a curse and he blinked. 'Boo?' He ventured to say, not sure what else there was.

The scrawny she wolf sat back in awe at the rather large wolf with wings. She had never come across a wolf with such size. Whoever it was, she saw how lithe and how narrow it's features were, instantly thinking it was another female. Though never seeing such a race nor breed, Ash had no clue what to think. Making eye contact with it, it blinked back at her and said in an almost confused tone a word to shout at others to scare them. Not exactly frightened at the creature, Ash was just taken back by the size. Seemingly to completely disregard what the other said, Ash called out again, quite bluntly, "You're huge!" At this point, they didn't seem to pose any threat, though Ash wasn't going to allow herself to become threatened. She felt vulnerable with her belly exposed, where the only spot her spikes weren't present and then she realized some of the vines had falled down on her and she was laying on a strand.
Ash's mind quickly came to the result she was prey to this gargantuan and she had just tumbled into it's lap. The vine began to slowly snake under and around one of her fore legs. Keeping herself discreet, nervousness soon overcame the awe despite her preparations to counter if need be and she remained as still as possible. Acting innocent, she continued from her blunt statement, "Sorry...I've just never seen anyone quite your size..."

Of all that came with it, the simple statement that he was huge came from her lips. He watched her as she sat there, looking at him as if he was the most fascinating thing in the world. Well he was, but she was looking at him for other reasons than what he was used to. He stayed where he was though, eyeing her and unsure of what to do with her.
But needless to say, he wasn't trusting of the little one. On instinct, his scent poured out, a calming smell that would hopefully will her body into relaxation. If anything, it'd at least give him a few seconds head start should something happen. But at her curious words, he tilted his head, 'Are you not from these lands?'

Almost at this the point, she would seem like a typical damsel in distress, with the carnivorous monster ready to make its attack because of her reaction to the large winged wolf-like creature. She felt so vulnerable and had no idea what to do. She usually was quick to retaliate and to make her move. However, something seemed to keep her at bay and make her hesitate and question her thoughts. The sweet smell that wafted around her as soon as Ash ran into this large wolf felt stronger than before. Not that she didn't like it, but it wasn't something she was used to.
It only did that; she didn't feel dazed, though relaxed would describe it a little better. Ash still had her questioning thoughts about the other nonetheless. Eyes broke away at their question, embarrassed by her answer, "I...do not know..., she looked back up at it, "I honestly don't remember. I just remember waking up and I've been wandering around ever since...Are you?", she then asked in return.

His long tail flickered gently before he moved to sit up right. Only then did the smooth and graceful appendage wrap around his legs. He had an overly elegant appeal to him, the way he carried himself soft and graceful. His eyes were fixated on her and her story.
In the end, his lips turned up into a smile. 'I'd best run if I were you.' He stated, 'This area doesn't take too kindly to those who are lost.' Both mentally and physically. And no he wasn't trying to help her out, but really, he'd rat her out in a heartbeat.

Blinking, her eyes went a little wide when the stranger moved to sit up. Graceful as a small tree swaying in the breeze, Ash watched as the other wrapped its tail around their hind legs. It was then that Ash caught who they really were. She blushed in embarrassment of herself for looking their, but she realized the large wolf was a he. Glancing away, she tried to put it out of her mind and looked back up at him. He truly did look like a small tree to her with his size.
The male really didn't answer her question but instead something she wasn't really expecting. This situation she was in isn't new to her. No, she has been in many 'unwelcoming' circumstances before...just never with a gigantic wolf. Ash stiffened a little at his words and defended herself, "Many areas don't it seems...but no matter, thanks for the warning, but I'm fine. I can...", she nervously repositioned herself, "...take care of myself."

Many areas should replaced by all areas found within the Giaku. As far as they could tell, she was a complete stranger and weak. They didn't do well with those who were weak. Something could easily happen to her.
She said she could take care of herself and he pointedly looked up from where she fell then back down to her. 'If you say so,' he wouldn't be one to dispute that claim. He moved to lay back down, those his odd gaze never left hers.

True, she was in uncharted territory and at this point, really anything could happen. If the rest in this area were his size...or bigger, Ash didn't know if she could survive and yes, she would be weak compared to them. The way he spoke made her think and Ashlynne finally got off her back and stood up, allowing the vines to fall off her foreleg when the male seemed to neutrally acknowledge her defense statement. Turning her back, her tail swished around until she turned back around to face him within a few steps.
Smoky eyes looked back up at the Ohm to find rosy pink and green eyes gazing back at her. Still wary about him, she ruled out that if he really was a predator to her, he would have at least tried to lure her in some how but he almost has been trying to distance himself from her. Hesitating a little she cocked her head in an inquisitive way, "You say this area doesn't take well to wanderers...how comes you have?", a smirk slowly curled on her lips, ears perking, almost eager to hear his answer.

His reputation was what he prided most. Violence was not among those things. But nor was he trying to protect her. If another were to come by, she'd be handed over like a pup to a sitter. He wouldn't care, wouldn't think. Especially if it got him where he needed to go. He thought she was leaving, but rather she turned back.
At her question he lifted a brow. His tail flickered in annoyance. 'Funny, I don't recall seeming to become friends with you.' As if to make a point, the vines suddenly dropped around him, crawling over his body and toward her like snakes. 'Im sorry if I'm too pretty for wanting to get up and deal with a creature who can't even keep on the ground properly.' He stated, indicating her tumble.

Ash's inquisitive look disappeared at his first statement. Rather than giving him a rebuttal, her expression flattened a little with indifference. "And I don't recall calling us friends to begin with", she gave a reprisal to his assumption. She wasn't really looking for a friend, but she really was curious if this land was so hostile, why was he being and acting with a neutral, well-disposition; not that she was complaining.
Then vines dropped around him and started to snake towards her. Surprised to find he had similar abilities as herself, Ash wouldn't allow him to catch her at her own game. Frowning a little, the vines that had followed her down on her fall mirrored his movements, wrapping around her body, covering her in a net of green. Two ends moved like prehensile limbs towards the vines that came towards her. She smacked some away and pressed the other ones down on the ground. "No need to apologize. I was just curious of your aloofness when you say others of this area aren't kind to outsiders", she repeated herself then added for more understanding, "If you must know, I was hoping at least I had met someone who was at least unbiased about me and perhaps even form an alliance with them...But alas, I suppose there are none in this world anymore with a semi-kind heart." She then looked at him, as if searching for something.

He wasn't afraid and showed little signs of interest to her abilities. She tried to explain why she was looking for that and he snorted. 'Please, I am a lover of my station,' ironic that, 'whoever you meet will always be biased and I promise you, alliances here are about as strong as a dead blade of grass. That was your first problem. You're second is relying on a strangers opinion. Everything living thing will lie to get an advantage.'

Perhaps she was a little naive to hope for friendliness from this large male, but she still believed there were others in this world who had a kind heart. She wanted to find another like that, but it seemed that he wasn't a part of that group. He did have a point, however, she supposed he knew more about this place than she did and decided not to question him on that. "I suppose this land is just as corrupt as a senile elder then", she referenced his statement upon alliances. "But nonetheless, at least I know now. And true, I shouldn't trust strangers; doesn't mean I can't at least consider their answers...So does that mean you're lying to me right now?" A brow raised in question.

Why she was staying around was beyond Zivan. But one thing was for certain, her company had ruined his time off. The pink and white Ohm let out an exaggerated sigh and stood up, the vines going back to where ever they came from. 'Oh no. Im being quite honest with you. I also know of some great wolves who would just love to hug and give you reassuring kisses.' She needed to stop asking questions. 'Now run along, lost little thing. Before trouble comes out of the woodwork and seeks you out.'
