Love of Heat-Open

Lupin walked through the water, the temperature rising the farther she walked out into the spring. Reaching a point to were she could no longer touch, Lupin closed her icy blue eyes, took a deep breath and dived down into the water, absorbing the heat within the water. My fire spells shall be quite powerful after this, she thought. Heading back towards the surface, Lupin remembered the times that the man had given her hot baths in the giant porcelain bowl, a smile creeped its way upon her muzzle as she reached the surface.

[Streak]

Streak was boiling. This place was too much for her to handle. What was she doing here anyway? All Streak could remember was waking up in this fiery place, wandering around for an exit. She shook herself, hoping it would cool her down slightly. She kept on walking, land hot to the touch. It was just about bearable. In the distance, Streak saw a black wolfwalk into the water. How this wolf did this, Streak did not know. She panted heavily, looking for a way out. Then it dawned on her. This wolf must have the ability to control fire. "Wish I could do that." She slowly walked towards the wolf, energy almost drained. She collapsed. Streak wasn't unconcious, no, but she was tired and her legs couldn't hold her weight any longer. There she lay, breathing heavily. Then she rolled over onto her back. It was comfortable that way. Her legs were tucked into her body, shielding her stomach. "What I wouldn't give for some ice."

Heading back towards shore, Lupin saw a she-wolf lying on her back, legs tucked up, protecting her belly. "What I wouldn't give for some ice." she barked. With a grin Lupin barked, "Can't take the heat I see." Lupin was standing above the she-wolf looking down on her. Without waiting for a reply, Lupin cast out Angel of Darkness. Her shadow and the she-wolf's formed upon her shoulders making, making large black wings. She is a little bigger than me, I may only be able to carry her a few miles, which should get us away from this heat, she thought. If the she-wolf didn't disagree, Lupin would help her to her feet then grasp her by the scruff of her neck and take off, heading towards a cooler area.

[Streak]

"Can't take the heat I see."
Streak smirked and watched the wolf create wings out of, what seemed to be her shadow. Streak looked down at the ground. Hang on! Her shadow disappeared too! "Hey!" Still, she let the wolf help her up and let grasp the scruff of her neck. Streak didn't know why she let the wolf help her, but she had a theory. Streak never flew before so the experience was one she would either love or bloody well hate.

The hot breeze cooled as she flew, with a tight yet gentle grasp on the she-wolf. Sloping downwards, Lupin looked for a place to land. Finding one, Lupin landed, her head held as high as she could so the she-wolf she carried don't hit the ground. On earth once more, Lupin let go of the she-wolf and backed away a couple of feet so she could get her bearings. "I'm Lupin, who are you?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head.

[Streak]

Streak felt slightly sick during the flight. It was the first time she had flown before and she most definately hated every second of it. When they landed, she fell to the ground and started in a way, kissing it. It was great to be back on the ground. Never again would she fly. Wolves weren't meant for flying, yet some grew wings for this. Or steal shadows from others, thought Streak. She heard the wolf speak. Streak slowly got up and turned around, her brain proccessing what the wolf said. "Lupin..." mused Streak, liking the way the name sounded. "I'm Streak, you know, 'cause of my yellow streak." She still felt dizzy from the heat and dizzier still, from the flight. Yet she still stood, energy regained.

"Well hello Streak, what brought you to the Maru Hot Springs if you don't like the heat?" Lupin asked with a smirk. "You want some cold water, I saw a lake a few feet ahead. Follow me." Before Streak could reply, Lupin nudged her in the direction of the lake and started walking, her Angel of Darkness spell dispersed and the shadows returned to their owners.

[Streak]

"Well, I actually don't know. I just woke up here, and I was right in the middle of a meal, when something knocked me unconcious. Then I ended up here." Streak felt Lupins' nudge and started to follow her. It was considerably cooler here, but still quite hot. Still, she could not wait for the cold water to moisten her throat. Streak started running forwards, wanting to get to the lake quicker.

Lupin was just about to reply when Streak bolted ahead. Thirsty ain't she? Lupin thought to herself. Well I haven't ran for awhile, I guess now is a better time then never. Stretching out her front paws, her bands glinting in the sun, with a deep breath, Lupin took off. Her chain clinking against her chest as she ran. She never felt as free as she was the day she left him, until she ran. Lupin bolted passed Streak, almost a blur. Reaching the lake she stopped, sat, and took a deep breath, small flames exiting her mouth then reentering as she breathed.

[Streak]

Streak enjoyed running. She saw Lupin run ahead, towards the lake. Streak caught up and jumped into the water. She drank the water, taking big gulps. Her dry throat was moistened. She looked at Lupin, a grin on her face. Streak swam up to Lupin and made a big movement with her tail, hoping to splash Lupin. She swam nearer to the centre of the lake, hoping Lupin would not be too angry at her.

Lupin snapped back into reality when cold water hit her face. Looking out at the lake she saw Streak in the middle. "Aheh! Your gonna pay for that!" Lupin barked with a devilish grin. Crouching down, Lupin launched herself in the air, landing in the water with a splash. With a deep breath, Lupin dived down deep in the water with a slight shiver at the cold she swam until she was almost under Streak. Lupin propelled herself upwards and splashed Streak. "Yuh turn!" Lupin barked with a large grin.

[Streak]

Streak looked around for Lupin as she dove under the water. Then she reappeared, splashing her. She was slightly dazed, wanting payback. Streak swam under the water, looking for Lupins' body. Sure enough, Streak found it. She swam around, making waves in the opposite direction to where she was, hoping Lupin would look away. Then Streak swam right underneath Lupin and jumped out, hoping to push Lupin out of the water, into the air a few feet. She then swam to land and ran out, shaking her fur. Streak grinned. "Whoops!"

Lupin looked over to were the waves were and a split second later she was in the air doing a somersault. Landing on her back with a splash, causing a wave. Still under the water, Lupin swam towards shore, her back stinging, but she didn't care she had a friend. At a point to were if she stood up she would be seen, Lupin bunched up her muscles and leaped out of the water and landed on Streak. "Whoops!" Lupin maybe smaller than Streak, but she still hoped she didn't hurt her new friend.

[Streak]

Streak saw Lupin jump out of the water and land on her. It was powerful enough to push Streak backwards into a backward roll, dragging Lupin with her, unless she already got off. Streak was giggling throughout the tumbling. How she loved playing. And, better yet, she had a friend to play with. This day was possibly the best day of her life. Finally, all the tumbling had stopped. Either Lupin would be on top of her, or Streak would be in the position she was in when Lupin found her.

As they tumbled, Lupin heard Streak giggling. Ok so she aint hurt, thats good, she thought, giggling as well. As the tumbling stopped, Lupin landed beside Streak on her back. "I have not had that much fun since I was a pup playing with my brothers and sisters." Lupin looked up at the sky, because they were killed by hunters and I was taken in by a male human who later on became my tormentor, Lupin thought to herself. Putting up a fake grin, Lupin barked, "So, whats next?"
