Lupin sighed as Blaze shifted his weight to his other foot. "Sorry to barge in on your fight, but I think we should do as suggested if we don't want to become dog food." Lupin's ears pricked forward at the new wolfs words. Fera and the tiger striped wolf was right, half of them were injured and there were twenty more of the war dogs on their way. Lupin's ears twitched as the thrumming of heavy foot steps got louder as the wardogs got closer. With a sigh, Lupin began to build up heat, small flames flickered out of her muzzle as the heat built up. Now standing beside Betsalel, Lupin barked, "You guys head on towards the cave I'll hold them off with my fire magic, and don't try to talk me out of it." Lupin looked back at her new found friends then bolted towards the on coming pack before they could. Sure she was far enough away to use Ashes, Lupin sat down, closed her eyes, and began to absorb the heat around her to make her spell stronger. The thrumming got louder and louder before stopping, a rotten smell hit her nose. Opening her eyes, Lupin saw the leader was standing in front of her and the pack behind him. Lupin growled and then cast Ashes. The dogs whimpered as the searing flames surrounded them. Lupin continued to growl as she watched the dogs start to retreat but something was off. She new she saw a even larger dog at the head of the pack but were did he go? Lupin's ears twitched as a twig broke behind her and hot musty breath ruffled her fur on top of her head and the thrumming of heavy paws sounded off in the direction of her friends. Lupin yelped as jaws grasped her neck and once again she was flung into the air, her spell dispersed as she hit the ground, blood trickled from her shoulders and neck.

Betsalel snapped his head towards a new wolf heading their way
" Sorry to barge in on your fight, but I think we should do as suggested if we don't want to become dog food."

"Oy who are you in the first place?Can you fight? You might need to defend ole Betsalel as he gets to the cave.Betsalel you need help?"blaze asked.

Betsalel looked toward the cave and was about to answer then snapped his head toward on coming foot beatshow do they gain so much ground in so little time. In no time Betsalel saw the pack advancing toward them

Lupin pounced forward "You guys head on towards the cave I'll hold them off with my fire magic, and don't try to talk me out of it."

Normally Betsalel would stay and fight with a companion allowing aid to her. But he was In no condition to. If he did he would be little help.... more of a interference really. Betsalel looked toward Blaze."you should stay with her. I'll take Fera and the new wolf to the cave. we'll meet up with you later."before Blaze could object or agree. Betsalel picked up Fera by the scruff, motion for the new wolf to follow and began to run toward the cave as fast as possible. as he sprinted toward the cave, Betsalel's vision Became cloudy.I can't stop now. hearing growls behind him, he stopped and placed Fera on the ground. This could be the stupidest thing I did all my lifehe thought "get to the cave" He muttered. He step toward the sounds and started to notice his vision clearing up. good I needed that he looked toward a distant forest of leafless trees and a small water gurgling creek that were covered in shadow. Perfect!! He Roared loudly attracting the hounds, ran for the forest and hid in a tree. [/i] I can't use my power here I'll be too exhausted.[/i] Desperately he climbed a tree and used his black and grey fur as cover to blend in with the surrounding shadow. he looked toward the rushing dogs as they entered the forest. Betsalel smiled slyly and quietly and pounced from tree to tree as the hounds weaved slowly through the dead forest. Spotting one of the dogs wander away from the group, Betsalel pounced toward his direction and flung himself toward his opponent striking him directly in the chest. The hound yelped and clasped backwards. Betsalel began towards another battle hound and struck it's legs and then before it could react slashed at it's chest. Betsalel continued on the ground toward the rest of the pack then stopped as a twig cracked behind him.so the hunter becomes the hunted. he thought and before for he could turn around he felt a heavy paw strike his side launching Betsalel in to a nearby tree. His vision failed him as he staggered his feet. The hound left no time for Betsalel to recover and slashed Betsalel's chest forcing him into the creek.

Betsalel didn't try to get up. He was to weak to fight any longer. He closed his eyes as pain surged through his side and head.[/color] "Get It over with will ya" He said and looked up finding the hounds circling him then closed his eyes and gave in to unconsciousness. The last thing he heard was the whimpering of dogs and a loud rush of water

Nadia walked through the leafless forest. stupid dead forest I never traveled this far from the ocean. She continued on her way then twitched her ear backwards as she her the gurgling of a small nearby creek. WATER! she thought and rushed towards the sound. She gasped as the creek came into few. why is blood flowing through here? finding that the red liquid was coming from up stream she quickly followed it and hid in between the trees. Nadia followed it up stream and found three huge dogs circling a black creature. Nadia tilted her head. why is a panther around these parts? she thought and quickly came up with a plain on how to help him. Slowly, she began to move her tail in a circle, moving water in between the panther and the hounds. She shot the water up in a small cyclone and then shot it quickly outwards. The dogs three dogs were flung into trees and lay limply in the branches. Nadia rushed toward the panther and nudged his paw wondering if he was ok. Whoever he was he didn't move. Nadia put her ear to his mouth. He was breathing but very little. She looked around and sniffed the air. There were more wolfs two.. no three of them, another cat like animal and more hounds. I wonder. Nadia lifted her head howled for as long as she could and let her voice carry through the wind.

"Trust me, I wasn't planning on it."
"you should stay with her. I'll take Fera and the new wolf to the cave. we'll meet up with you later."
Fera growled her assent to the plan, before Betsalel grabbed her by the scruff of her neck.
"Hey!" she commented sharply, though Fera couldn't argue, Betsalel moved much faster than she did. But no matter how fast they were moving she still heard growls behind them. The large panther placed her down.
"get to the cave"
Gladly, Fera thought as she darted away. Wait, Betsalel might die. Fera didn't stop though, she darted into the safety of the cave before turning around to see the carnage around her.You should help, you know.
"When did I grow a conscience," Fera muttered angrily to herself. No, Fera wouldn't leave the cave. Even as all this was coming down around her, Fera was too scared to leave. She was just a prankster, not some war hero, destined to die fighting for her friends. Fera placed her head on her paws and closed her eyes and ears to the scene around her.

[Blaze]

Watching the scene unfold as Lupin tried to slow them down, "Pft don't think I'm not going to help," Blaze barked as she stood ready to fight the dogs. He would be of some usefulness atleast, better then nothing. With most of his energy regained he took off on a bolt as she hit the ground listening to what Betsalel said. "Well of course i have to now." He growled standing in front of her ready to fight. But something was wrong, hearing his roar most of the war dogs took off towards the water. Whats he doing? that panthers going to get himself killed. He smiled before thinking about it, Aren't we all? hearing the skirmish by the water before it went silent. better not of died, there were still a few dogs in the clearing as a smaller one launched itself towards him which Blaze swiftly jumped aside even after his injuries, and rushed from under it taking it by the neck and dragging it to the ground before tearing away, in which he repeated brutally until it stopped moving. Cant be too many more he thought, perking his ears to a familiar howl. Not able to remember, someone I've met before? Not having a chance to try to think about it as one of the much larger war dogs stepped in front of him. No one was here except lupin, that cowardly ocelot in the cave, Betsalel getting himself killed. "Fine, lets have it this way," growling as he got ready to attack, the war dog did the same, almost it seemed like it was smiling. Before both ran past each other so quick it ended as fast as it began, he staggered for a moment, not understanding what happened before looking down to a pool a blood, "Got me you bastard." falling down, but just barely getting back up. Wounds are a minority, protecting was more important. And he wasn't just going to let him get lupin too, he walked forward swaying. The dog charged again but this time he was ready, jumping forward knocking his legs from under him and biting down on his jaw in quick succession. Pain was weakness in battle; that's what they taught him and others in his pack. When the dog kicked him off Blaze charged again. Tearing at his throat and standing back to watch him bleed the last. He sighed, "Goodnight for the last." He mumbled, it deserved the few words. Finally realizing his wounds, Blaze fell back. "Damn, hadn't seen myself bleed since i was a pup." He was talking to no one in particular, not that it mattered. Hearing the dogs by the stream whimper and growl before they became silent, gave new hope. He couldn't see very well anymore from his right eye and possibly broke a few ribs, I'm really going to bleed out here? He thought tiredly.

Lupin sat up winching at the pain in her neck and shoulders. She watched as Betsalel spoke and lead three of the war dogs towards the creek. On her feet, Lupin walked towards Blaze who seemed to be in a daze after disposing of the last two war dogs in the clearing. He was dripping blood and his right eye was blurry looking. "You ok?" A howl sounded near by. Another wolf? "I'm going to see if Betsalel is ok." With out waiting for a reply, Lupin headed towards the creek were Betsalel and were the howl had came from. Reaching the creek, Betsalel was laying unconscious and a wolf standing near by. Lupin nuzzled herself under Betsalel's right front foot. Shifting her weight so Betsalel was on her back, his head on top of hers. "If you now healing magic or anything about herbs, I would be thankful if you were to come with me towards the cave and help." Without waiting for her reply, Lupin began to trudge her way back to the cave.

Nadia was about to howl again but saw another wolf travel towards her. After offering for her to come and help she left without waiting for a reply. Nadia looked at the panther and began to follow the wolf through the leafless forest toward a cave. upon entering Nadia found a small cat like animal huddled in a corner.

"I assume he's a friend right?"she looked at the small cat animal and smiled.

Fera opened her eyes at the sound of the new wolf's voice.
"Betsalel!" Fera ran past the new wolf to the panther. She sniffed the cut on his chest and ran to the immidiate area out side the cave where soft dirt was. She placed her paws on the ground and breathed on the dirt. A small plant with large leaves grew up underneath her. Fera ripped up some leaves and chewed them in her mouth before running back to Betsalel. She smeared the paste across the cut.
"It'll help stop infections," SHe said in way of explanation."I don't know what to about his head though."

[Blaze]

After retrying again, Blaze stood himself on his legs again and watched what he presumed to be Lupin carrying Betsalel towards the cave followed by another wolf he couldn't make out through his injured eye. And started slowly towards the cave, the falls wounds from before didn't take effect immediately, but now it came back with searing pain in his ribs. At the entrance of the cave fera ran out to use the same magick as before to create plants out of dirt before running back in again. Betsalel cant be that injured, can he?

He thought to himself before hurrying into the cave to see the panther unconscious and Fera working on him. Ignoring his own wounds for now he slumped against the wall to stop from his legs giving under him. "Is he going to be okay?" Blaze questioned casually, nor did he hope to worry. Finally getting a better look he recognized the other wolf as Nadia, Blaze waited for her to see him as he put his attention back to Betsalel, although the pain was almost unbearable he tried not to think about it until the panther was okay.

"I think I could help." A boy with silver hair stepped out from the woods. His purple eyes on the panther as he approached followed by his twin brother with the same purple gaze.

"Subaru, your to soft..." Kamui followed his brother into the cave. Shifting into his wolf form, Kamui sat behind his twin, he growled back at the black she-wolf.

Subaru knelt down beside the panther and positioned him so he the panther was on its back. With a quick bite on his wrist, Subaru pressed his now bleeding wrist in the panthers mouth, the blood ran down its throat. "Are blood has healing properties, he should awake soon."

Lupin growled as the twin boys approached, she glared at the one who changed into a wolf and growled back at her. She sighed in relif as the still human twin said Betsalel would awake soon.

Nadia's ears twitched backwards as a familiar voice asked if the panther was gonna be okay. Nadia turned her head to find Blaze leaning heavily on the side of the cave. She was about to ask if he was alright then was cut off by the voice of a human..... She growled as her eyes penetrated there's with hate. But soon Nadia found that they were werewolves. still human in skin she thought as one of them dripped their blood into the panther's mouth. the whole time her eyes were tracking the werewolves. She snarled defensively as one of the twins growled at the she-wolf. anger was growing in Nadia and she had to fight the urge not to attack them. Nadia stopped once she heard the panther stirring.

Betsalel woke with the worst head ache ever and the taste of blood in his mouth."okay did I bite someone before I died or what" He said, starring at the ceiling of a cave. He looked and saw a human, no wait werewolf, looking over him and the scent Fera by his side. Betsalel looked at the human's hand. hmm..... He slowly began to piece what was happening and the slowly got on to his stomach. He began to stand up only to find himself falling back down with pain. he looked around noticing new faces starring at him. then he found the faces of his companions. He grimaced and looked at the cut on his chest it looked like it was smeared with maybe what he thought a Melaleuca plant. He looked at Fera and smiled then licked her head. "thanks my little friend."he laid his head in between his paws and relaxed his aching head and muscles.

Fera was so Focused on Betsalel that she didn't hear Blaze enter. She didn't notice the werewolves either, until one approached the large panther she was protecting She hissed at it quietly, though she made no move to stop it. Her eyes followed it until it backed away. SHe continued to watch Betsalel until he began to stir.
"okay did I bite someone before I died or what" Fera sighed. He would be fine. Betsalel looked up at her.
"thanks my little friend."
"None is required," Fera purred. She waited until Betsalel made himself more comfortable before turning to the werewolves.
"Who are you?"

Watching with a quiet demeanor as the humans entered, their actions didn't seem hostile so he watched as they entered the cave and the one the other called Subaru drained some blood from his wrist into the panthers mouth, as Blaze watched curious as the other human and Lupin growled at each other. He havent seen many werewolves, the last being Rosie from quite awhile back. He could feel the anger coming off Nadia in waves, and he could understand, just because they could shape into wolves it dosent make them less human.
Before saying anything the panther awoke. Sitting down due to exhaustion, he smiled at his comment of the blood and looked attentively towards the two curselings, "Yes, what was your reason to travel here?" Blaze asked calmly, sitting akwardly at the back of the cave.
