Mahogany red hair slid in front of forest green eyes in clasped bunches as a young adult tilted her head at the hare beneath the branch she was perched on. One leg was pulled up close to her chest, bearing most of her weight as the other leg dangled, soft brown leather boots protecting her human feet with large metal clasps and belts to hold them on.
She gently shifted her weight, bracing her hand against the trunk of the tree, her right hand holding onto the branch above her as she slowly lowered her other leg. She hadn't eaten yet today, and this seemed like an opportune moment. She wasn't wearing much, just some make shift burlap shorts that had been dyed blue from berries, and a deerskin top. Then again, in such humidity it wasn't like she really needed much else on.
The metal clasps around her wrists glinted as a trickle of sunlight breached the thick canopy, hitting it just right. The girl was too focused on her potential prey, however. She simply ignored it as the whites of her eyes began to be swallowed in black as her irises expanded. Her nostrils flared, taking in the scent of the small morsel, which had stopped to raise on its hind legs, looking from left to right as though checking for predators.
Her mouth slowly opened, canine teeth elongating slowly as she controlled her change carefully. In one swift motion, she shoved off from the branch, falling a good fifteen feet to the ground to pounce on her prey. The hare attempted to flee legs kicking frantically, but it was too late. Blood trickled down the girl's mouth, the hare latched into her jaw securely, slowly dying as she held it there.
Truly, she looked like a beast. Her eyes dark and glowing, the skin on the bridge of her nose even scrunching as it prepared for the change, every muscle in her being rippling as she contained herself. When the kicking stopped, and the heartbeats faded, the curled up beast relaxed. With a few blinks, her eyes returned to normal.
She dropped the hare into her hands, which had also begun to elongate, nails hardening into claws. She hissed a bit, fangs retracting to their former glory as a bit of a crackling could be heard. Her bones shifting, returning to place as she took on her more feminine appearance. Her deep tan skin had been covered in a fine coat of fur resembling the color of her hair, but was now being shed. Aside from the gore covering her mouth and nose (as well as the area surrounding the orifice) she looked like a regular human.
She took her prey in hand, glancing around for a moment. She didn't think she could sense anything, but then again the scent of her prey was deep in her nose now. She was being driven more by her urge to feed than common sense at this point, so she retreated to the trunk of the tree. She took a seat, squatting and leaning against the thick trunk as she tore into the poor excuse for a meal. The meat was tough and gamey, stringy and not all too flavorful. Still, she wouldn't pass up the opportunity out of some personal preferences.
She began devouring the hare, fur and all. Her jaw even in this form was more powerful than that of a human, and able to tear chunks of flesh from the small carcass as she half chewed before swallowing each morsel. Her name was Lyra, and she had been turned Werewolf some time ago. Exiled by her tribe, and sent to live off the land. She had promised herself vengence on the beast that marked her, but such feelings fade with time. Now, she was in search for a companion. Mate? Perhaps, but for now even just company would do. She'd been alone for so long, killing or driving away potential in the past from either her inability to control herself or the fear of if she couldn't

The smell of blood was in the air. It was thick, but not murderous. Like a meal being fresh. Infact, that's what it had to be. Fuoco tilted his head as he inhaled again. Rabit too. Deep red tail flickered as he looked around, trying to pinpoint where the smell was coming from. What? He wasn't above taking a meal if he could scam his way to it. Not his fault he was lazy.
The fire wolf's ears turned around, making like a beacon as he turned his head this way and that. Finally, he found the scents strongest point and like a blood hound who hadn't eaten in days, headed that way. He had a high trot of his feet, showing no fear and nothing but pure arrogance. Such was the ways of this rebel wolf. Lazy bastard too.

Titus stomach rumbled as the smell of blood filled his nostrils. He slowly made his way over a tree branch as the smell of blood got stronger. He stopped in his tracks to see a human eating the raw meat of a bunny he ducked his head and tucked his ears and slowed his breathing so she wouldn't her him and waited.

((... Jumping in, I guess.))
Grace watched the clouds above her pass by, changing shapes as the wind shifted them through the sky. Dog, horse, duck... Grace's trail of thought broke off at the cloud that looked like a... You know what? Grace thought to herself, It's a cloud.
Grace stopped cloud-watching to quickly sniff the air for any threats. She smelled wolves, but that was to be expected. She also smelled werewolf. Grace stopped in her tracks. It wasn't Cercius... It wasn't the wolf she had been asked to find by Cercius... Who was it? Grace slid of the tree branch she had been lounging on and headed toward the smell. She took care to stay in her human form, feeling it would seem less threatening if she approached like that. Upon arrival, she did see a human female eating. Grace approached cautiously. "Hello, name's Grace."

Lyra was indulged in her meal, pupils dilated as she hungrily ate. However, this didn't mean her senses were completely drowned. Rather, it put her in a rather primal state. There was plenty of shifting around from this way and that, causing her eyes to dart up away from her meal and around, searching for the source. Every time though, it seemed not even a leaf was stirred. She couldn't understand it, but her rumbling stomach demanded she eat more, as gore covered much of her face, speckling her would-be muzzle with the deep red liquid.
Still, she was clearly uneasy as she finished more than half of the rabbit with her human jaws, only scraggly bits of stringy meat hanging from the bones when she glanced up. Her beast like eyes stared at this human who approached her so casually. Nostrils flared, taking in her scent. No, she wasn't a human, was she? She smelled too familiar for that. As if she was like her.
A low growl let out of the girl's throat, which was rather convincing for still using the vocal chords for this form. She had been long out there without finding even a trace of another werewolf, and now...now that she had finally decided to move on with her life one shows. However, the growling quickly subsided leaving just a snarl on the girl's face. This couldn't have been the same wolf, as the one who attacked her was male.
Lyra slowly rose, pressing her back against the tree. She was prepared to hide in it if necessary. Oh no, not simply hiding in the branches. She could hide much better than that. She pressed her left palm against the tree, silently speaking to it in case she needed to seek refuge.
"What are you?! Why are you here?!" Lyra snapped, more or less ignoring the girl's rather friendly introduction. It was her natural reaction, to push others away. The mangled corpse of the hare dangled from her right hand, ligaments barely holding it together at this point. If she'd chosen to eat it in her Were form the entire thing probably would have been gone with one good CRUNCH. Still, this wasn't the case and aside from this girl, Lyra still felt as though she was being watched.

Now something was up. Fuocco could sense it in the area. But being hard headed and not afraid of much, he went for it anyways. The smells conflicted in the air around him, one wolf and several other indistinguishable scents. Hey, maybe he'd get into a fight with whatever it was. Good for him.
Strutting his stuff like he owned the world, he moved toward the smell. But he had to stop when he came through the shrub brushes. Even the ballsy one was confused b y what he had stumbled across. Two..humans? No that couldn't be. He sniffed the air again, as if testing it, wriggled his nose as if it were temporarily broken, then repeated the process. THey looked human, smelt like something else. Huh, Curious curious curious. He tilted his head as he watched them interact. His tail flicked gently, and his stomach growled and he was going to get the rest of that rabbit damnit.

((sorry I thought Zizzie was first))
Titus sniffed the air again and figured that another wolf was here. He knew something was up with those humans but he was to hungry to care. He jumped over the log and looked at the weird smelling humans. As he hopped of the log he tilted his head and slowly made his way toward the human that had the dead bunny in her mouth. As he reached he sat down on the ground and looked at the human showing her he meant know harm even though he was hungry.

"What are you?! Why are you here?!" the girl snapped at her. Grace repeated her introduction, this time more slowly.
"My name's Grace. I'm here because I wanted to know who you were. You smell like a were. I would assume you are one."
Grace approached slowly, knowing that it was hard to trust people in this world, and understanding that the girl might feel threatened.
"Who might you be?"
When Grace was but a couple yards away, she slid down into a sitting position with her back against a tree, and herself facing the girl. Upon further investigation, or, Grace sniffing the air again, more wolves were approaching. Her thoughts were confirmed when she saw a wolf approach and sit near the girl. Grace remained silent, and waited for the girl to react.

((Lyra had the hare in hand, not in mouth))
Lyra's eyes narrowed at the other 'human'. She referred to her as a were, so it was true. This was indeed another like Lyra. Well, as alike as two who shared a similar curse could be, anyway. Had her ears matched her canine heart, they would have been twitching as the two wolves approached. One was bold, not even attempting to hide itself as it trudged through the brush. Both were hungry...clearly lured by Lyra's meal.
Her eyes stayed sharp, staring at the girl, before quickly darting to the side to see the wolves. One stood near the shrubs, partially hidden apparently and cocking its head curiously. She knew better, the wolf's senses would be able to tell she wasn't a mere human. However, the other seemed almost more bold, driven by its want to feed. She saw him, approaching as Lyra's mouth slowly opened, snarling at them all.
"I am called Lyra...that is all you need know..." The girl growled out, eyes nervously flicking between the three strangers. She shuffled her feet a few steps away as the one came to her, sitting by her. She wasn't really afraid, it wasn't like she couldn't defend herself after all. Still, it was clear she was uneasy, and probably unwilling to share her measly kill.
"Find your own!" she barked, taking her hand off the bark of the tree. She tore off a bone with little substance on it and threw it at the sitting wolf. Aggressive, no?

Two human things, a wolf, and a panther what a lovely oddball group this turned out to be. Fuoco was just watching, entertained by all the drama that was going around. Be even more entertaining if they all decided to take a bite out of each other and tear themselves limb from limb. He was betting on the human thing with the rabbit. That thought was only solidified by when she threw the bone at him. It missed and he watched it go sailing besides him before looking back at her.
'Oh, oh! Feisty!' he barked. Then he swooped down to pick up the bone and pranced about as if that were the best prize in the world, no he wanted more than this, but hell she threw it, he'd take advantage of it. He grinned at the panther, 'See if you were cute like me you'd have gotten a chunk thrown at you too.'

((i don't mean to be rude or anything but Titus is a wolf))
Titus growled absentmindedly at the wolf. Then looked at the weird smelling human. He wagged his tail at her not worried about the food anymore. I wonder if she likes to play. Titus slapped his fore paws on the ground and curiously waited for a response from the human.

"I am called Lyra...that is all you need know..."
Grace couldn't help but smile.
"My friend, that was all I asked."
They both looked back at the sitting wolf.
"Find your own!" the girl snapped at it, throwing a bone toward it. Grace smiled once again, trying her best to look like an innocent girl.
'See if you were cute like me you'd have gotten a chunk thrown at you too.'
"Yeah, I've noticed some wolves have a problem with hunting their own food." Grace let a mischievous smile creep on her lips as she watched the wolf dance around the bone. "But I will admit, begging is easier. More degrading, but notably easier."
