The Sound of Music (Open)

[Streak]

Rosie stood there, taking in the view. She sat down on one of the nearby rocks. Scents of wolves drifted in the ether. Rosie took her violin in hand and placed it on her shoulder. Her bow ready in hand, Rosie began to play a melonchaly tune. She closed her eyes, letting the music take control of her. Her body swayed in time with the music. After at least 10 minutes of playing, Rosie opened her eyes, breaking the trance that she was in. She turned into her feral form, sniffing for some prey. Rosie started trotting towards the scent of an elk. Her tail kept getting in the way of her legs. Without warning, her body went head over heels. Down she rolled, until finally, she stopped. Rosie landed in the most undignified position; on her back with her tail sprawled out below her and an astonished look upon her face. Rosie quickly stood up, only to fall back down again. She got up again slowly, and managed to stay up. Her legs were shaking. "Still haven't gotten used to the tail." Rosie sniffed the air for that elk, but it was gone. "Guess I'm going to go hungry." She walked around, searching for a scent to lead her to dinner.

[Blaze]

Walking along the grassy earth Blaze stopped in his tracks and sniffed the air; a human close by, he growled laid low and started stalking towards the scent, human music started playing but he ignored it and kept on moving. He looked around a rock to see a smaller black female wolf with a unusually long tail, trip on it and fall on her back. Blaze cocked his head quizzically, After a second try She stayed up and mumbled something and sniffed the air before walking around. He got out of his place behind the rock to sit in the open a few feet away "You looking for something?" He barked smirking. Strange? He thought and sniffed the air again, smelling the human extremely close. He got up and growled at the she wolf, there was the smell of human and wolf scent closely mingled, is it true?
Were-humans, cursed? I've heard of them but never have I seen one. He thought tilting his head. "I know what you really are curseling," He growled in a low voice, stalking around her. "Why are you here?" He growled wary.

[Streak]

"You looking for something?"
Rosie whipped round. "None of your business, wolf!" She bared her teeth and growled, ready to attack. "Do NOT insult me, mangy mutt. As to why I am here, that is also, none of your Damn business!" Rosie had enough of this, and pounced onto the wolf, teeth ready to puncture his flesh. "This is what happens when you cross paths with Rosie Hyde!" She growled once again, seconds before hitting her target, unless the wolf moved.

[Blaze]

"None of your business, wolf!" the Cursling bared her teeth and growled, "Do NOT insult me, mangy mutt. As to why I am here, that is also, none of your Damn business!" She pounced towards Blaze calling her name. He smiled, Havent had a fight in ages. He turned swiftly aside the wolf missing him, He stood his ground growling, "Crude and obvious, I expected some sort of a fight!" He lectured shaking his head, "If you expect a battle i guess you have one." He replied before sprinting low towards her hoping to trick her into thinking he was going for the stomach but the real target was the legs; To try to knock them from under her and pin her.

[Streak]

Rosie wasn't taking any chances. She jumped over the wolf, changing into her human form. As soon as she landed on the ground, she used the spell, Dark Sword. She took the darkest shadows she could find; from the rock, the mutt, and herself. "Come get me, mutt!" Rosie rocked from side to side on her feet. Jumping again to dodge an attack was out of the question. The mutt would be expecting it. Rosie ran up to the mutt, sword down low. She smirked at the mutt, then used Shadow Warp. Her body was hidden from view. Nothing the mutt would expect. She stayed in the shadow, waiting for the perfect moment to attack.

[Blaze]

The wolf jumped in mid air turning into a human before landing on the other side of him, Blaze turned around quickly to find the human pulling a dark sword from the shadows, "Come get me, mutt!" She tried to provoke him rocking from side to side. He growled and faced her when she charged at him with the sword but instead of attacking, her body seemed to warp into the shadows around her, He stepped back confused then stopped, "Oh that's not very fair," He said in a mock voice and smiled, He knew what was going on, He started walking out in the open calmly, and started speaking again "I think that I'm a pretty good tracker and i have some sort of eyesight too," He spoke unworried, "The shadows, are shifting. fracturing,"So if I'm correct, I should be fine out of the shadows you are hiding behind." He stopped still inside the shadows, "You cant fight a fair battle, I have no magic but that doesn't matter now does it? You have no honour." He growled provokingly and stepped farther out of the shadows, maybe i can provoke her to come out of hiding easier, He planned.

[Streak]

Rosie heard what he said. It struck her to the soul. She ran out, sword pointed for his neck. "DON'T TELL ME WHAT HONOUR IS!" Tears streamed down her face. He had hit a weak spot. The wolf seemed to be far away. Her eyesight was tricking her. She slowed down until she stopped in front of the wolf. She fell to the ground, into a ball, crying. "You don't know what I've been through." It was barely a whisper. She lifted her face, showing red, sad eyes. "To see him die, bleed before you whilst not being able to anything scars you for life. And not knowing who killed him angers you, destroys you, but in no way destroys your honour. Kill me if you want." Rosie felt another wave of tears try to escape her eyes. One by one, they slid down her face. She was at her weakest.

[Blaze]

His plan worked and the Girl came out of hiding "DON'T TELL ME WHAT HONOUR IS!" She yelled, running towards him with her sword pointed, Blaze growled and got ready for a fight. Instead she stopped feet away from him, tears streaming down her face. He cocked his head curiously as she fell to the ground in a ball crying, He took a step back not understanding. And sat down again after she spoke of her brother, she looked up at him with sad red eyes, "Kill me if you want." Blaze sat there in thought, I'm too forgiving, He mused. "Well i should kill you," He got up and walked closer to the human, sitting down "The thing is, the same happened to me." He said solemnly. before straightening up again, "Who are you speaking of?" He asked curiously, I dont even know why im speaking with this human, He thought to himself, She was just prepared to kill me.

[Streak]

"Who are you speaking,of?"
Rosie gulped down some tears. She coughed and spoke. "My... brother." She put her head in her knees, sobbing once more. Her body shook as she cried. It hurt to think about it. "Who was it?" Rosie knew this was a delicate subject, but since the wolf asked, she ask too. Once again, an eruption of coughs came from Rosie. She waited for an answer from the wolf.

[Blaze]

He listened The human coughed and spoke of her brother she lost, and started coughing again before asking Him of who he was talking about, Blaze sighed before speaking again, "The exact same i guess," He closed his eyes for a second before speaking again, "But he died of sickness while travelling, do you know what happened to your brother." he asked.

[Streak]

"We were going..." Rosie coughed. The tears were tumbling down her face. "... To train. Then something attacked him... My brother was murdered." Rosie concluded it. Her orange swirls seemed to spin around, getting faster and faster. "My brother was murdered with no real cause." She clenched her fist. "No real reason, just for some flipping fun!" Rosie banged her fist on the ground in anger, her voice getting louder. "They didn't even care." The volume of her went down to a whisper. "Care about how I feel." She burst into tears, her anger subsided. Memories came flooding back to her. Memories of the past. How the blood stained the earth. How he fell to the ground. How her brother died.

[Blaze]

Blaze listened to the Girl speak, getting angrier by the minute. Until she finished speaking and started to cry, Blaze bowed his head sadly, thinking of both of their stories. He put his head up again, "Well theres no one to blame for my brothers death, atleast not in this chapter. But there is one for you," He thought about what she said, it didnt seem right. "I dont think your brother was murdered without a reason," He replied thoughtfully. He had nothing better to do so why not go along in this story? "But that dosent matter right now, names Blaze, you?" He asked the human infront of him.

[Streak]

"I'm Rosie. Rosie Hyde." The tears were stopping. Rosie stood up, wiping her tears away. Her eyes were still red. She took her violin from her back, and walked over the rock. She sat down and took a large breath in. Rosie place her bow on the strings and began playing a more merrier tune than before, but it had a touch of sadness in it. She finished after a few minutes of playing. "Did you like it?" A smile was plastered across her face. "I only thought of it now, but I'm quite pleased with it." She placed the violin and bow on her lap, looking at Blaze. It was the first time that well, she had been friendly to a wolf.

[Blaze]

The human introduced herself as Rosie Hyde, taking a violen out she walked to the rock and sat down playing it. Blaze sat down and listened for a few minutes, and asked if he liked it. A large smile on her, "Well i haven't heard that before but yes it was beautiful." He smiled which turned to a smirk after he thought of something "Strange company eh? A wolf and human."

[Streak]

"Don't forget that I'm part wolf." She grinned at Blaze, her eyes friendly, but still red. Rosie looked up at the sky. It was nearing night. She sighed, shaking her head. A few stars began to twinkle in the distance. "I'm worried Blaze. I haven't been counting the days until the full moon. Do you know if the cycle has come round to the full one?" Rosie stood to and began to pace the ground, her hands behind her back. Her brain was thinking out all the possibilities, when the last time was that she saw the moon. Her eyes were deep in thought, looking blurry. She hoped that Blaze knew, cor she could not remember for her life. She swore under her breath, cursing herself to be so careless.
