Káshila trudged steadily across the Nikko Savannah, rather bored. 'I'm still here? Why?' she kept asking herself in her own thoughts. After her last argument with her family, she had left them, again, to their ploy of vengeance. But for some reason she had remained nearby, having a weird feeling their battle would be soon. And she had been right. She was waiting till things calmed down some before going back. Again.
So here she was, moving idly through the grasses and finally finding shade beneath an acacia tree, one of the several scattered here and there. She could hear the running river not far off, but didn't feel like going there quite yet. Her red and white coat glimmered in the afternoon sunlight. Ah, another boring day...

Walking tiredly along the grassy landscape, All he could see for miles was grassland, few acacia trees and various bushes, Finally reaching the Savannah after days of travelling from the Hot springs. 'Atleast its better then the springs' He considered. Blaze just crossed one of the major rivers of the Savannah, now it was just a sound, He looked around again seeing something sway in the grass not too far off, and make its way to the tree. It looked like a wolf, He shrugged his shoulders and started walking towards the tree. Might as well see who lives around here, as he got closer he could see the wolf more; A much taller but slender wolf with large wings, with a white and red pelt. A winged wolf? He's never seen that kind before in this strange land, He mused. Blaze stopped outside the high grass and sat down "Hello" He spoke, "Do you live here?"

The sound of a male's voice startled her and she looked up suddenly, green eyes bright in the blazing sunlight. She breathed out slowly, trying to slow her suddenly racing heart. Oh... it was just another wolf passing by, perhaps. She smiled and moved herself from her lying position to a sitting one. "No, just hanging around I guess. This place seems one of the nicest in the area to me. I'm... well I was here to see family but I'm wary of visiting again so I guess I'm just hanging around stalling," she finished with a light laugh. "What about you?"

The Wolf looked up suddenly for a few seconds before smiling and sitting up, after listening to what she had to say, finished with a laugh before asking Him why he was here. 'He shouldn't tell why he was here with a stranger, it was none of her concern anyways,' "I'm looking for someone," He replied bluntly, He suddenly realized something else; The wolfs scent was one of the same he smelled at Mizu lake, but this was nowhere near the pack lands, "Your a pack wolf?" He asked with renewed Curiosity.

Káshila was a little surprised at the way he responded. She almost was amused, the way he at first had approached, saying hi, seeming somewhat friendly, and now was suddenly guarded? Much like herself... she put that thought aside. He asked if she belonged to a pack. "Yea..." she said slowly, eyeing him for a moment carefully. "I'm a little ways from home. What of it?"

"Yea.." the She wolf replied slowly and asked why, "No reason, just as long I'm not in your lands." He replied narrowing his eyes, and shook his head, "Its nothing I'm just not comfortable around packs, is the one we're speaking of large?" He asked thoughtfully.

Oh... he had only been curious. She hadn't realized the smell of Akeru would be so permanent after her being gone for a couple of days. Then again, she hadn't ventured off in a while and hadn't thought about it. She nodded at his explanation. "Yea, it's fairly large," she responded with a shrug. "Anyway, no worries, this land in particular belongs to no one at the moment." Although her father's little group had taken up residence here as of late... still she was no part of that. "So who are you looking for? Perhaps I could help..." she offered. Besides anything was better than sitting around in boredom.

'Oh.." She said out loud and replied that it was fairly large and said not to worry about this land being taken. Blaze relaxed alittle not worrying about immediate threat, until she spoke again asking who he was looking for. "Ah. Well its more personal and its not a immediate problem," He tried to change the subject "I've never actually seen a winged wolf before," He smiled, being new here. "Well i was going hunting soon anyway so you want to come?" He offered.

He seemed so quick to keep the conversation off of himself and on her. She supposed it wasn't too strange for a wolf to be reserved... she couldn't help thinking how it might be if she were the same. They probably would've just gone their separate ways quickly. But she enjoyed having someone else there and thus was being accommodating. At his mention of her wings, she glanced back at her cinnamon colored feathers, ruffling them slightly, then returned her gaze to the male. "Oh, yea?" This wolf really was reserved... winged wolves were relatively common in these lands - or at least from what she'd seen. "Well I'm sure I won't be the last." She wondered if he had any other questions about her wings and the like. Instead, he invited her to go hunting with him. She grinned, rising from her sitting position to a standing one. "Sure. Lead the way."

He nodded after she spoke, Blaze rose starting off in a trot towards where he last had the scent of an herd of antelope. "Well i guess you could say where i came from was much more old? Not many had types of magic nor wings. But this land is much more different," He replied, 'Atleast she didn't try to keep the conversation on Me.' Blaze sighed relieved. Smelling the herd closer now from where they started, He stopped and slowly laid in the grass watching a clearing; Where a small group of antelope were grazing, there was a few that were farther out, "Well we could hunt here, unless you think we should handle something smaller?" He asked challengingly, Looking to the animals again.

She didn't look at him when he spoke, her senses focused on hunting, but listened all the same. "I see," she said softly. "Well, I suppose this place is special..." she had seen much of the world in her travels and could conquer this place held more magic and the like than some other places. "Perhaps you'll get used to it," she said with a smile.
Finally, they reached a small clearing and she stopped when he did, eyes taking it in. She looked at him, a small smirk coming to her lips. "I'm game for this," and she couldn't help a light snort at the irony of her statement... given that since they were the hunters, the antelope were the game. Lowering her stance, she crept closer to the herd, assessing particularly the ones farther out. Out of courtesy, she waited for Blaze to start, since he had invited her. And once he did, she would assist him to victory.

"Perhaps." He replied slowly to her eariler question and smiled as she agreed, paying close attention to a older calf courageously straying off from its parents. Streching his neck Blaze creeped to the edge of the grass, looking behind him he nodded and sprinted out from the cover, the calf looked at the wolf running towards him, barely having time to defend himself as Blaze jumped feet away biting into his neck, the calf rolling onto the ground knocking them both down. Keeping a hold on its neck, its strugglings slowing, one of the larger antelopes started in a gallop towards him. Blaze's eyes widened as the Antelope galloped towards him, letting go of the calf and dodging out of the way in time, Blaze swore through gritted teeth as the antelope snorted and bellowed.

Káshila watched as the scene unfolded, and she was a little surprised at Blaze's pick. She didn't usually choose a calf to go after... but she supposed everyone had their preference. He had no trouble... and honestly wouldn't need her help for a mere calf. However, the situation turned more dangerous quickly as another antelope noticed the calf. Ah, protective despite facing a predator. She emerged then, moving swiftly as almost a blur as she leaped toward the attacking antelope and crashed into it, just as Blaze was dodging out of the way.
Her nose was wrinkled in a snarl, fangs bared, ears back, fur on end. The rest of the herd had fled at this point and Káshila didn't give it another chance to try and charge. Instead, she bounced back, leaping it at it again, her claws scratching at its shoulder and leg as her fangs sought a hold in its throat. She hoped Blaze recovered if he had been shocked at all and helped her out. This antelope would be considerably more difficult than a calf.
Her fangs were secure in its throat, her hanging on as the antelope fought, trying to get her off of it. Its hooves tried to beat at her and she yelped as it nicked her hip. Releasing the beast, she leaped backwards, savoring her hind leg and growled, the antelope weakening as blood leaked from the wound in its neck. Moving carefully, she was gauging her next opportunity for attack and as it snorted and moved toward her she pounced, snapping her jaws and the antelope falling, continuing to kick at the ground it was laying on.

As the rest of the antelope fled, the parent got ready to rush Blaze, and he was also ready. Before it got the chance, the female wolf crashed into its side getting a hold of its throat, He rushed to her aid as the fight continued. The antelope got a good hit at her hind leg for the wolf to lose her grip, Blaze stopped for a second to see what would happen as the antelope moved towards the wolf instead to fall back kicking at the ground, He sighed "I guess we have to kill it now." padding to the wounded antelope before staying low, pouncing over the antelope sinking his teeth deeper into its throat, He rolled back growling, fangs bared as it tried to kick him away. Waste of meat, because I'm on the move. Unless you want to keep the rest," He looked to the female wolf as it started trying to make noise but only blooded gurgles came out, "But good hunt none the less." He nodded, looking at the two dying prey.

OoC: Sorry for late response x.x;
iC:
She was grateful when he issued the final kill and she stepped back, savoring her leg slightly, a snarl still faint on her lips. She glanced at Blaze, giving a slight nod. It was understandable.. "Thanks," she told him, then "Yea, it was a good hunt." She glanced back at the prey, tearing into the calf and eating some of it briefly. Her green eyes shifted toward Blaze when he said it was a waste of meat. "Hardly," she responded, "I know of a perfect use for it." She knew her family and their comrades would be hungry after their recent victory in battle and this was perfect. She could take it to them momentarily, however...
She got a strange feeling like Blaze would rather be on his not-so-merry way soon. "Do you typically kill and leave meat lying around?" she asked, tilting her head slightly at him. She half expected him to either not respond or turn the question around toward her again but you never know.
Afterward, she turned, ears perked, listening for a moment. "C'mon, I think there's a brook nearby," she said with a faint smile, taking off int he water's direction.
