Once and always a loner (Open)

[Moon]

With a low sigh, Moon padded into the outlands. She put her ears down and looked around. This environment would always be her home. She looked around and stopped and stared at a boulder. She gave a long sigh and spoke aloud. "Well, Moon I guess this will be your bed tonight.." She slowly padded towards the boulder. She climbed onto it. It was cold and rough. She got comfortable and plopped down on it. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She couldn't. So she stared up at the stars. The moon was covered by dark clouds. She let her green eyes wonder in the sky.

[Blaze]

Padding along the rocky landscape, Blaze stopped looking at the darkening sky, the moon appearing. yawning He started on his long walk back to the den. Seeing a boulder in the distance, He would travel the rest of the distance in the morning. Halfway to the large rock. Blaze smelled a strong sense of another wolf, 'Who else would be out here in this time? well i am.' He mused and looked closer at the boulder, now he could make out a shape of a smaller wolf on the rock. He stopped cautiously hidden in the darkness and sat down "Are you resting here?" He asked slowly, not knowing of any other shelter close.

[Moon]

Moon sniffed. She could smell another wolf. Then her ears perked up to a voice. She hesitated to look at whatever spoke. She didn't speak. Then she looked at the male wolf. She put her ears down. "Yes. I was resting here." She rose up and hopped off of the rock. "I understand if this is your territory..I had just been tired and I needed to rest. She looked down. She hadn't talked to many wolves. She didn't know what to say.

[Blaze]

The other wolf didn't speak for a second before she hopped off the rock and explained herself before looking to the ground submissively, Blaze cocked his head surprised and walked out of the shadows, "No. This isn't exactly my territory, I live close. I actually was here for the same reason, was just out hunting." smiling at the nervous wolf "Put your head up, I am no threat unless you find a way to make me." He commanded lightly. stretching, He wasn't worried about this small wolf for threats, "You new to these lands?" He asked casually.

[Moon]

Moon looked into the male's eyes. Then she made herself seem more dominant. She puffed out her chest. "I see. Well, I am no threat to you..nor to this land." She looked around at the land. Then she looked at the male. "Yes, I'm new here, but I know how the world is. This land is nothing new to me." She sighed. "What's your name?"

[Blaze]

The wolf looked at him and tried to make herself look larger, Blaze smirked at her attempt and sat up straight again, His pelt shining in the moonlight. before she replied to his question proving that she was indeed new, then asked for His name. "Me? I guess i go as Blaze, You?" He replied drowsily, laying down. 'Well i haven't slept right for days but i think i can stay awake long enough.' breathing heavily of the fresh air, the moon waning high in the sky. it was a perfect night, He thought, looking to the wolf for a reply.

[Moon]

Moon looked at the male. "Blaze? Sounds personal, but mabey my name isn't any better." She hesitated to speak. "It's..um..Moon." She said quietly. Then her voice rose in tone. "My name is Moon." She raised an eyebrow at Blaze, as he layed down. "Sorry, I'm not very entertaining." She said in a sarcastic voice. Then she turned away and sat down. She stared up at the moon and her green eyes glimmered. 'Wow, you met a new wolf for once..' She glanced back at Blaze. '..but this one is gonna fall asleep or run away.' She stared back at the moon.

[Blaze]

"Moon, eh?" He spoke out loud testing it out. The wolf raised a eyebrow at Blaze before speaking, He could hear a hint of sarcasm in her speach, then he realized why. Jumping up, "Oh, sorry." He said quickly "just tired that's all, I'm usually more interesting awake" He joked before excusing himself and walking into the darkness, seeing a rabbit. He dropped low to the ground stalking it, after a few feet being close enough and unnoticed he pounced on the rabbit taking it by the neck and ending its life quickly, and walked back with it in mouth. "So what brings you too these strange lands?" Blaze asked questioningly dropping the rabbit beside Moon, "I've already eaten." He nodded before before sitting down again.

[Moon]

Moon just stared at Blaze and watched him, as he exscused himself. She sighed and looked away. Then when she saw the rabbit she narrowed her eyes at it. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She slowly pushed the rabbit away. "I catch my own food..and I already at as well.." She layed down. "If you must know..I was passing through..trying to find a place..to call home.."

[Blaze]

"Ah shame," He spoke before picking at the rabbit, "You shouldn't be angered by kindness, but i see. I was exactly the same when i was younger." Blaze listened and nodded after her story "Its harder out here, either your in a pack or your a loner, and if you are still a loner its much harder to find a good home, I'm not one for packs though."

[Moon]

Moon looked at Blaze. He was right. Being a loner is harder. You have no one to help you in troubled times. When you are in a pack, you have family and friends. Friends. That word doesn't exist in her dictionary. She turned to Blaze and nodded a bit. "Blaze, you said it your self. You are not one for packs. So you are a loner. That means you have no one like me." She sighed a bit. "How long have you been alone?"

[Blaze]

Blaze was surprised by her question, how long has he been alone "Awhile probably, I don't really keep count anymore. I know that's been long," He spoke quietly, why does anyone care about me? I'm nothing important, he thought annoyed by her curiosity "Why are you a loner? I'd rather listen then speak." He asked casually, before sitting up and stretching his neck "But theres quite a few friendlier loners in these lands then mine." This wolf doesn't seem like she didn't know many others from before either.

[Moon]

Moon looked down. "Oh..I see." She looked away a bit, before looking at Blaze with uneasy eyes. "Well..I'm not too good with stories..but.." She got comfortable. "My father sort of had a mini pack..with a bit bunch of wolves. I was born into the pack and my mother died from birth. After she died, the wolves said my father had changed. So I guess it was my fault he changed. He ran away and got killed, leaving me into the pack. Then the wolves of the pack..thought I killed both my mother and my father..so they bannished me from the pack. Eversince I was a pup, I have been a loner." She layed down on the ground and dimmed her eyes. "I..just want someone to protect and someone to laugh with. To feel someone's warmth beside me is all I want..There isn't much to live for if you are always alone..I used to think-" She lookd at Blaze and the stopped talking.

[Blaze]

He raised a brow after she stopped talking "Well atleast your pack wasnt murdered without honour, then having to have this amazing adventure across the world for revenge." He laughed, well thats what been keeping me alive these years i guess? "Yeah, well maybe its hard to live alone, but you always have something to live for." Blaze smiled sadly.

The scent of a rabbit cought of the mist from the moon. Starvation reminded Star the affects of her life. She quickly ran to the location of her nose. She then jumped over the grey bush grabbing the remainders of the rabbit. Noticing the two wolves at last minute she prepared for battle. "Am I not trespassing?" she smirked. Her long white tale lifted to the direction of the moon. "Atleast I think I'm not." she growled.
