In the dark of the night, a figure appeared in the trees, silently watching with cold, hard eyes. His deerskin outfit, with its tunic and pants, blended easily with the rest of the forest, though the dappled moonlight that slipped through the leaves reflected off the pale skin on his face, neck, and arms. Observing the forest silently, he spotted movement, a golden furred creature, a wolf. The young man stepped forward, following the creature, barely making a noise. The wolf seemed to be causing the villagers to move away from something. But what?

Rosie carried on rubbing in the medicine. Secretly, she wondered why she had helped Titus. She remained silent, not knowing what to say. After a few moments, Rosie ripped another piece of cloth and wrapped it round his leg. She was still pondering why she had helped Titus. Maybe she was feeling nice today. No, she was feeling like she always felt everyday. Rosie thoughtback to that night. The howling. Seeing Titus in pain. What was she missing? The traps? No, they meant no significance to her. Was it Titus? But she saw wolves all the time. So what was it? Rosie racked her brain trying to remember. What about the howl? It must be the howl. There was nothing else it could be. What was it about the howl? Rosie tried to unlock that hidden part of her mind, but to no avail. What was it?

Lilliana stalked through the night, passing the kennels of restrained dogs to make them bark, allowing herself to be caught in the blazing light of torch sconces, anything to make the humans follow her. "Who knows, maybe I'll change back and pretend to have been caught by the animal, almost killed..." she mused, raising her body into a stand in order to stretch for a moment, her imperfectly-transformed muscle stretching and rippling as she give a small growl of pleasure, her shoulders finally clicking into a comfortable position.
The sounds of nearby villagers gave her a prod, and leaning on her splayed hands again, she loped into the darkness, ready to lead the humans on a merry chase.
((Sorry about the wait, guys, serious muse issues :/))
