Black dusted paws touched the ground with the heavy, sturdy steps that allowed Savitri to swiftly jump over most obstacles in her way. Powerful muscles rolled underneath the skin of the Gray wolf,who was slightly tall compared to other females.Her red fur appeared to shine every time the moons light hit her fur,but as soon as she appeared.She seemed to disappear from sight as she moved into the shadows.Now and then her marvelous,somewhat strange fur would appear in the moon light.The large,red furred she-wolf grinned, turning her gait to a strong stride, stretching her muscles, her tail wagging lightly. Savitri enjoyed running,and hunting at night.She felt more alive at this time then she did during the day.She seemed more nocturnal then anything else,but she had the will to change it now and then.

Savitri's large paws stopped abruptly as she dug her nails into the ground.Her quick and swift movement allowed her to find,catch, and kill every single that she had managed to get so far in this forest.There was plenty of food,and a good water source, but so far Savitri hadn't seen a pack ,or even pack member sense she had arrived.It was said that there was a pack called Shinkou,but she wasn't to sure anymore.Pack or not, Savitri was liking it here.Sure a few other wolves would be nice,but she didn't mind.Either way she was staying and getting food tonight.

Savitri's red eyes scanned the forest hungrily before she spotted her meal for tonight,which was going to be a young doe that she spotted lying down near by.With a experienced leap, Savitri jumped out of a bush and dashed towards the young doe.Which had quickly gotten up at the site of Savitri,but wasn't quick enough to escape Savitri as she smacked her body into the young doe,knocking the doe to the ground.Savitri's snarling mouth found its way towards the young doe's throat and through its windpipe. The young doe made one last pitiful cry before its body went limb.

Savitri smiled proud fully at her catch as she licked the blood off of her mouth.She knew she could of done better at catching the doe,but Savitri's hunger had blocked her thought at the moment and made her instinctively attack the doe.Savitri,now feeling unsure about her surroundings,began to move her kill to a better spot.

Kiyoshi wandered through as he normally did. The moonlight&shadows made him appear like a monster. As the beaten druinin passed by, the sent of elk filled his nostrils. He feared that a pack had taken it down, but his stomach told him otherwise. Slowly, the beaten grey walking mass lumbers slowly toward the sent. When he got there, he was suprised to see a red she wolf dragging a young doe into the safety of the shadows.
Kiyoshi:thoughts: <i> i wonder...hmmm maybe i can go in the brush and appear on the other side of the kill and snag a leg....after all, I am in a desperate need for food.</i>
So he stayed in the brush and did his best to quietly lumber until *SNAP*, one of his massive paws stepped on a branch.

At the sound of a large branch snap,Savitri's head snapped up and her muzzle scrunched up into a snarl.Her body stood defensively over her kill, and her muscles flexed.As she tried to intimidate whatever lurked in the bushes. Savitri,now feeling defensive over her kill that she had just caught, snarled loudly at the bushes,seeing that she couldn't see what was hiding inside them."Come out you low life!" She snarled out of anger.

Savitri had no feeling towards others that would try and sneak up on her,or for those that tried to steal her kill.She would only truly accept those that were either starving,injured or to young to hunt.Other then those three,Savitri was set to kill any that challenged her.

The injured druinin stoped to ponder. After a few seconds of thinking, he repiled in his raspy, tired voice "I only ask for the leg of the kill. I will appear when you have dismember the leg from the body."

After saying such words, the clumsy druinin sat down on more branches, causing a greater ammount of snaps. The creature his his injured paw and let out a loud cry of pain, and fell in pain, his head and long neck appeared from out of the brush, panting, eyes bulged with fear and rage, fear for being torn apart by the wolf, and rage because he could not go without something to eat. He pants hard, appears as if he is in shock.

Savitri's snarled quieted down as she waited for the hidden stranger to speak.Once she heard the raspy, tired voice of the stranger,she became curies.More then likely this stranger was tired and held no threat to her if he was.With that,Savitri began to question herself if she should should give the stranger any meat from her kill,but her thoughts were interrupted with the loud snapping of branches and a loud,painful cry,that made Savitri jump slightly, and made her fur bristle up.What append next was slightly a shocker to her.She stared at wolf/dragon questioningly as she looked over his feachers.It was pretty obvious what the stranger was.Savitri,now feeling less threatened,moved slight away from her kill to sit down.

"Well,looks like you blew your cover." Savitri moved her body slightly towards the deer carcass and grabbed a hold of one of the back legs tightly with her mouth.With a quick and strong twist of her head, the leg was quickly dismembered and was plopped next to the males head."But I'll give it to you anyway."

The dazed and confused druinin looked at the leg. He had crossed several paths of wolves, most of them hating him because druinins are usually gaiku's familiars, but however, this druinin was banished and labled a traior because he loved shinkou's ways. He knew the wolf was new here and more than likely knew nothing of the animal he was. But when the wolf put the leg infront of his tired face, his heart was stuck by a sudden warmth he could not understand, as he's never felt this way before. He wanted to thank the stranger, but the pain was so intense he could not stand nor speak . So he just nibbled at the carcass, the taste of flesh finally being in his mouth. He looked at the stranger while doing this, then finally fainted out of pain and weakness.

Savitri gazed at the male curiously as he started to nibble on the leg she had given him.He acted as if no one had ever showed him kindness and that he half expected her to lung at him,however,Savitri would not.The male looked tired and weak to her, and probably needed a goodnight sleep in her eyes,also a good sized meal.

Luckily for the male,Savitri was a easygoing,kind wolf.She too had her fair share of hardship,but she had quickly overcome it.Savitri tilted her head slightly to the side as she saw the male faint.It was somewhat weird for her to see another animal in such a bad condition,but it also made her mother like instincts surface.

Savitri,not wanting to leave the male along, began to eat the deer carcass slowly, in joying the meats flavor.She knew she couldn't awake the male right now from his forced slumber,not only that, maybe a little sleep would help him.So She patiently watched over the male,making sure no harm came to him.

about 10 min. later, Kiyoshi awaoke from his sleep. the kill was still infront of him, and he seen the wolf, still watching him. He took a big bite out of the carcass, the full taste of meat gave him energy. The more he are, the better he felt. After eating the leg down to the bone, he looked at the wolf and said: "thank you. My name is Kiyoshi Masajun. You can call me Kiyo for short. Thank you for the leg. I owe you one, for saving my life. The moon now was directly above them, the light made it easier for kiyoshi To see the dark red she wolf. He smiled, just a little. When the light shown on him, his fur glew silver, but he looked like a silver skeleton with fur. He felt the warmth greaten. Then he asked: "you've been watching me the whole time I was unconscious? your nice then. Most wolves I see are very intimidating, and you are no acception. I was just going to runaway after i had sat down, but this front paw of mine*holds it up so that the wolf can see* is broken and swollen. I used to be in Gaiku, but after watching Shinoku's life style, I fell in love with it. So, I began to come here more and more.....Until the epress found out. I barely escaped with my life. But I'm so relived, now I'm free..........*closes eyes as if to recover from shock*

Savitri stopped eating and smiled warmly as she saw the male waking up.She was quickly surprised at she saw the male attack the leg she gave him hungrily."Your welcome Kiyo.There's enough meat for the both of use,so why keep it for myself." She replied shortly after he finished speaking.

As Kiyo began to speak again,Savitri got a better look at him as the moon shined its light down on them.He looked awful slim in Savitri's point of few,and his paw looked slightly bad,which he soon pointed out.But she knew how to tend to a injured foot,so this wouldn't be a problem to fix,if the Kiyo let her that is.

Savitri looked at Kiyo curiously as he finished speaking.She could almost relate to what had happened to him,but hers was still much different."I understand."She spoke softly as she stared at their surrounding,checking for any danger."My past wasn't full of flowers and butterfly's either."

Kiyo replied, "flowers and butterflies? no one's life is ever flowers and butterflies. Where i come from, its hard work and perserverance, to keep your own skin on your body. Oi, i can't tell you the guilt i feel every day because of all the puppe and wolves i have destroied.....most from my own former pack. *sniffle* Heck, i even-....................................*looks up* the moon looks so pretty tonight....! Savitri chucked to herself a Kiyo seemed to get sidetracked by the moon."Yes it sure is."She replied.She felt no sorrow or distrust towards Kiyo,even though he told her about him destroying pups and wolves.She too had an experience on killing other wolves,but never pups.However She had never been in a pack sense she was a pup."At least you've been in a pack,Kiyo.And let me ask you this,have you felt the tender care of a mother?" She asked curiously and glanced towards him with her red eyes that seemed to flicker like a fire.

Kiyo just stared at the wolf. "why, yes i hav-you could call it love. she was the only one who loved me......tell me, what is your story? your colors seem, so interesting. But I've seen many red wolves my dear *chuckles* I'm guessing you didnt have the love of a mother?" he scanned the wolf, he could feel her pain, it was like his, somewhat.

"Yes my color is interesting,especially sense both of my parents dont have red fur or red eyes in mater of fact.And no I never received the love of a mother.My mother always thought I was a curse and despised me.The same thing goes for my father." She replied somewhat in thought has she glanced up towards the moon.Feeling somewhat awkward in the light.She was used to staying in the shadows and hiding from others.She also proffered to hide in the darkness then to be seen.

Feeling somewhat aggrieved by her thought.Savitri bit into her kill and roughly pulled a piece of meat off.Talking or thinking about the past was never truly one of her favorite subjects and she always proffered to keep them in the back of her mind.

Kiyoshi justt looked at the moon. " I wasen't my parents color either. But howerver I was put on a pedistool, they loved the fact i was not their color. I soon caame to be known as Kiyoshi Masajun;Thr silver demon, because silver was all wolves ever seen berfore i killed them...........that was years ago." Kiyoshi now fovcused his attention of his injured paw, as the pain was throbbing now. "Say, can you heal this ma'am?" kiyoshi asked

Savitri looked down at his paw curiously as he asked her if she could heal it.She knew she could put it back in place and put something under it,in order for it to heal properly.But that was all she could do.She wasn't gifted with the power to heal.She only knew how to work with fire and shadows right now,but none of her spells could heal.

Without saying a word, she wandered off to gather some bark and fines,also some herbs that would help it heal faster.She might not have been gifted with the power to heal,but she knew a thing or two about wounds and how to take care of them.

Once after finding what she needed.She came back and dropped them near Kiyo's paws."I can not promise that I can heal it,but I can set it back in place and help it heal faster,and also make sure it heals properly." She said and sat down next to him."One more thing.If I do this it will hurt."
