The small white wolfess sighed, a cloud of steam forms from her mouth. Her ears drop as she looks at the frost-bitten grass. Its been getting colder, but not could enough. Anila looked up, she felt utterly lonely, even though she was bonded with a spirit, they never talked. She looked down at her necklace, the sapphire shined brightly in response, but showed no offer to talk with her. "I don't blame you." She whispered. "I don't want to be friends with me either." As a roan, Anila frequently was on the run. Though now, her job has come to a complete stop. Her ears flattened and a whine escaped her throat and she laid down, closing her eyes. She couldn't ignore the bright pain of loneliness that gripped her.
"If I only had a better personality," She muttered, ignoring the stinging pain in the corner of her eyes. Anila sighed, "What if I never got up again, and just slept my way till I died?" Though, her pride wouldn't let her. She couldn't give up on life and she knew that. Anila would have to work for everything she has. She opened her eyes, the sapphire was still quiet. It irritated her, the thing hadn't spoken to her since she had left Midnight. She stood, shaking her fur, and lifted her head to the world.
"Now to get something to eat.." She muttered. The white wolf sleeked through the grass, her eyes open for movement. In the morning, rabbits were just starting to prick their ears, along with mice and other small birds. Even though Anila would be somewhat satisfied with a bird, or a mouse, she would have to hunt again. At least with a rabbit she would be someone full. She sniffed, stirring the air around her. A scent crawled into her direction and she perked her ears to the source.
It was just what she had asked for, a delicious, fat, rabbit. Her mouth watered and she almost let out a happy whine, but she shouldn't be satisfied yet, she still had to catch it. She dropped to a crouch, focusing on the smell till she was close enough to pounce. The rabbit was nice and plumb with brown fur, it's black eyes were ever searching through the grass, looking for danger, unaware that it was there. It's floppy ears were perked and searching for any sound that would give away a preditor.
Anila narrowed her eyes, then felt dismay as her bright white fur was caught by the rabbit. The rabbit shot away, though the small prey didn't know that Anila had speed on her side. She shot forward, "Wind Racer!" She whispered, the wind picked up around her, she was desperate for the plump fat dinner running just a few feet in front of her. She started picking up speed, the rabbit's eyes full of fear. It never had a chance. Anila pounced on it, grabbing the throat and closing her jaws around her, she heard a satisfying crack! as the rabbit died. She grinned in accomplishment and tore the skin of the rabbit, eager to dig in.
The warm flesh was a miracle in it's self. Anila moaned in the pleasure of it, she tried to think of the last time she had time to hunt for herself, she tried to remember the last time she ate. It had been that small mouse a couple days ago, just to keep her going. The mouse tasted like dirt and was hardly filling. It was over too soon, nothing was left of the rabbit and she licked her muzzle in disappointment.
She started to groom the blood and dirt from her fur, then chewed between her paws to get the dirt out. Her tail wagged and she felt satisfied, sighing in pleasure, she grinned. Anila glanced around her, she felt as if someone might of been watching her, but it probably was just the feeling of uneasiness of the war. She knew she should be fighting with them, but she wasn't a fighter, if they truly needed help, she would come in and help. Even though Anila was really mean at times, she wasn't one to just kill, though she could still protect others. Movement? She wondered, she sniffed, but she wouldn't be able to smell anything, the wind blew her scent away from her.
Though, unsure, she called out, "Hello?"

His thick coat kept him warm in the cool day, paws crunching lightly in the grass as he walked. Everything in the day was fine to Thor, besides the frost that left his paws wet after walking through the grass. Not that he minded a whole bunch, but it chilled him a bit. His stomach was full from a fish he'd caught earlier that morning, leaving him to just wander around happily and with a full stomach. Though equiped with wings he didn't use them much, prefering to stay on the ground unless he needed an escape. Which he didn't like having to do, aside from the odd bad hunting he'd done. Hunting wasn't his thing. As he watched the grass bend under his paws Thors coal nose twitched; scenting something before the smell was blown away by the changing wind. 'Blood..? And maybe something else.' He thought to himself and scented more, the wind clearly not in his favour as it whipped through his bright white and blue fur, swirling all the different smells around. Shaking his head and his thoughts with it, the male continued on his way, catching the smell once more before it floated away. It seemed stronger and with a quick look around, it was explained why. After standing in thought for a while Thor walked toward the wolf he saw, and clearly she noitced him. Blue tinged ears perked up and he tilted his head, hearing a soft voice of a fae. "Hello?" Thor gave a grin and slunk still closer to her, moving out from a dead bush to stand a few jumps away from her, shaking his fur off. "Oh, hello there. You haven't seen another wolf that looks like yourself around here, have you?" He grinned a playful grin and dipped his head in greeting. "My mistake, it is you."

His opening was a little of a surprise to Anila, but she couldn't help the smile that broke through. She was surprised when he had come out, so she was standing, ears perked. I knew I had seen someone! She said proudly to herself. She glanced at the wolf, his pelt was magnificent, out lined in an icy blue. His silver eyes pierced through her, but he didn't seem mean. His playful grin made her want to smile, but she didn't.
Her heart tugged her, his powerful eyes reminded her of Midnight. She swallowed dryly and dipped her head in return. "Hello." She said shyly, though her voice was strong. Anila took a step back, she didn't like the closeness between the two, in case he was a danger, but she doubted so. She kicked away the bones of the rabbit and cleared her throat. "M-my name.." She started taking a breath. "Anila." She finished, her ears perking as she scanned the area, but she really was just trying to find something to do and not start going off on this stranger.
His eyes... her heart dropped. Midnight! She called through her thoughts, but she knew he wouldn't respond, he couldn't hear her. As in response, the sapphire glowed brightly. She growled at it, Now is not the time to do something weird! Her tail swept angrily from side to side. The sapphire obeyed and dimmed, she glanced up at the male to see his reaction. Though, she was surprised to see what she had seen. She growled sharply, her teeth showing. "Bear!" She warned in a sharp bark.
Normally bears wouldn't come into this land because of the high rate of wolves, but there was something different about this bear. He was large, dark brow, and had red piercing eyes that were full of madness. The bear sniffed the air, it's breath stinking as it landed on the two wolves. It licked it's jaws savagely and he roared into the air, shaking the ground.
Anila growled, her neck fur rising, she was in a snarl, wind rising around her, it smoothly combed through her fur, comforting her. Her sapphire glowed brightly, as if to warn her of something. The bear, it had to be the bear. It would be too late to warn her of it, seeing that it was right there. She looked closer at the bear. Along it's shoulder there was a deep, infested wound, and at the corners of his mouth was a foam. She shuddered, knowing that this sickness must be what is causing this bear to act so savagely.
"Don't get bit!" She warned, though she wasn't entirely sure that would help. Her stomach twisted and turned painfully, warning her that she might throw up. Her eyes were wide with anger, her claws digging into the ground. "Should we run for it, or fight?" She called.

He was pleased at her first response, catching the smile that soon after faded to almost nothing. She scanned him, and he scanned her in return, looking over the swirls of light colours that were on her body. She replied and he gave another friendly smile and a sway of his tail, not taking offense to her stepping away. She didn't know him, and for all she knew he could simply be wearing a mask. Thor knew himself however, and he knew he meant no harm. He sat back on his haunches and let his tongue loll out a bit, listening to her go on with her name. "Mm, very nice name. Does it have a meaning?" He blinked as the words slipped from his mouth, shaking his head and trying to get away from his blert. "I'm Thor. Pleasure to meet you Anlia." His attention was pulled from her to a glowing gem around her neck while he examined her, then he jumped a bit at her sudden outburst. Thor wasn't certain if he should look behind him, thinking that perhaps the glowing meant something and she'd run away, or even attack him. But slowly his head turned, and sure enough, a large bear stood not very far away at all, feeling i's breath ruffle his fur. He jumped to his paws and took to the females side in shock, the bear looking much more... Deadly, then any he had seen. Red eyes glared at the two it seemed, and its wound looked horrible. It was enough to make his stomach turn and his form shiver in pure fright. The female started snarling but Thor tried to stay quiet and calm, mentally going through spells that could get them out of it. Sadly, he thought of none. He could of easily saved himself, but his normal flight instincts were grounded to fight. Unless she ran too. Her warning about getting it processed quickly, though he didn't plan on getting bitten anyway. "How fast can you run..? It seems like it's up for a chase. And a meal at that."

'Does it have a meaning?' That question echoed in her head. Does it? Does my name really have a meaning in life? The thought seemed ridiculous at the moment, so she quickly shoved it away.
Anila's heart had dropped when he took those few precious moments and didn't move. Her eyes were wide as he finally glanced back and leaped to her side. While she had been growling, he was looking thoughtful. What could he be thinking at this moment?
Anila was running through effective spells against the bear, but none that would bring this savage bear down. There was only one real option, to run. But, she wouldn't run without Thor, it didn't feel right to leave him, even if he wasn't with the pack. Survival, sometimes we need each other to survive. Her heart sunk as she thought of her mother and father.
I wonder where they are now? They are probably dead, gone, never to return. They died the day they left me! She yelled in her head, that is how she got herself over them. That is how she doesn't think about them, she is bonded with a spirit, and they couldn't handle her, so they left her with the packs, with the war. They left her to run messages all over the territory and for her to die alone. Became saddened, once more.
Life....its frail, a string, easy to break.... Life can be shattered, handled unfairly, Life is a gift, and a curse, Sometimes another can cut the string, Sometimes the string is wound with others, At times, Life cut's its own self in th hands of others...
She suddenly felt stupid thinking of that, she was back to reality, glancings at Thor, his question shocked her at first, but she grinned, the wind picking up around her. Anila laughed, "Thor, I am built for speed!" She actually felt like herself, other than the large angry bear in front of her. The bear let out a large angry roar and she took a step back, her eyes widening.
"We go on three!" She whispered. "One....." She crouched down, getting ready to run, the wind was hungry, racing around her, daring her to fly through the air. "Two....!" The wind shrieked in protest of the slow counting, her muscles tensed, getting ready to run, she left the last number for Thor to say.

He wasn't sure what was going on in the females mind, but when she finally seemed to process his question -which only took a second- she seemed to stare at him in surprise, shock. Thor stood beside her a bit puzzled and was about to ask again before he felt the wind from her brushing his side. Hm, she holds an element I do. Lets hope she has the swiftness and speed to go with it. He caught himself thinking while she spoke, giving a wide grin to how she reacted. "Good, you'll need it." He chuckled under his breath and gave a growl to the bear, listening for her word. She started to count and he casted his Haste spell, the fur along his spine tingling even more then it was to the creepy hellish bear in front of them. Something about it wasn't right. Besides it's red eyes, and horrible looking wound... Then again, that was abnormal enough. The fae stopped after two and he looked aside to her, waiting a second for her to finish before whispering just loud enough for her to hear. "Three."

His whisper was a long waited, it seemed that after he said it, the world quieted down, and everything was reverted to slow motion as Anila started to turn. Her claws digging into the earth for traction. The world slowly moving past her as birds let out a call of alarm. In the distance, hooves hit the ground, running from the wolves, though the only harm right now was the bear.
The bear's roar of protest was sick, and almost wanted to make Anila hurl, the world was still in almost a slow motion around her, as her legs worked together in unison of the wind that pushed her forward. The bear's forepaws hit the ground, dashing forward after the wolves. Racing through the tree's, trying break away from the savage beast that trailed behind them.
Her heart pounded, her eyes wide and she knew she could do this, she was built for running, but how was Thor doing? She had just met him, but she didn't want him to die. My only friend, please don't die! Please don't let him die! She begged the gods. ((OOC:Sorry for the shortness >.<;;; )

OOC: I'm sorry I'm so late. x-x It might be this way for another week until xmas break. :x
As soon as the fae beside him turned Thor did the same, like her his claws gripped into the earth and his body propelled him forward as he took off at her side. his haste spell very slowly seeped energy from him but he was positive he could get away, or at least run as much s he could to try. His white and blue shaded pelt rippled in the wind as his legs bounded out under him, tail trying to brush his heels and stay away from the bear although his speed prevented it. Although at the females side he lagged slightly behind, rathering him getting caught then her if the bear managed to catch up. The roar from the beast behind them made most of his fur prick up against the wind from running, the eerie, possessed type sound shattering the silence the forest previously had as it became alive with calls and scattering sounds. After taking a look ahead of himself to make sure the path was clear he looked back, seeing that somehow the bear was keeping a pretty even pace with the two wolves. "Does it ever give up?" He asked through pants as he continued running with the femme, realizing it had only been a few seconds since they had bolted away. Thor's front right paw slipped slightly out from under him and he gave a yelp of surprise, managing to catch himself as quickly as he had slipped. "Watch your step... Don't wanna become food."

(Sorry I was soo late XDDD) "Does it ever give up?" His voice shocked her, she didn't realize he was so close beside her, she glanced back, only to see him trip, her heart almost stopped. and her muscle tensed, getting ready to stop in case if he fell, but he had caught himself as soon as he fell. The wind brushed through her white fur as she looked ahead of her again. She panted, feeling her energy sap slowly away from her, but she had still a lot of energy before she was in danger of getting caught.
She had gotten the rank of kind of a messenger wolf, her powers gave her speed. She could run for days if she had to, though the question was how long could this savage beast run? As if an answer, the bear roared once again. A burning anger was held deep into the bear, making the bear act like a demon. Anila glanced at Thor, then looked forward once more.
"How long can you go?" Anila panted, her paws hitting the earth with the wind pushing her forward. Every movement put her just a little further away from the bear, but the bear always took one step forward too. Anila couldn't help but notice Thor was a little behind her, she doubted that was because he wasn't fast enough.
Her stomach turned to stone and she forced herself to swallow, the linger taste of the rabbits blood seemed like a distant memory, hopefully it wasn't her last.

Each paw step he made his magic worked to produce, rippling through his muscles the magic to keep him from collapsing from such use. The femme turned her eyes on him just as he slipped up and any other time he would of flushed and shyd away awkwardly, but this was different. The beast still charged after the wolves at a speed that seemed unreal for a bear, although to him the bear looked unreal all together. 'Maybe it has a bad spirit with it? Do other creatures get spirits like us wolves do..?' He thought to himself and continued to run, heart pounding in his chest more so from fear then the run. Over the course of maybe a minute his paws seemed to take him no further ahead of the bear even as the surroundings passed sending chills down his spine, the only thing interrupting his thoughts were the females few words. "How long can you go?" Thor wasn't certain but he wasn't tired yet, keeping close to her side easily and figuring he could possibly pass her if he really wanted to. However that would of drained more energy, and he wasn't leaving her behind. "I can last for a while, but I'm hoping we won't need to. Hopefully it'll tire out quick." Was all he spat out from gaping jaws, his tongue slipping out to begin panting more, keeping himself cool since his energy was needed for running, not being able to keep himself cooled as well. Thor figured he was lucky to have the coloured coat he did, not absorbing so much of the sun with it. Still, the dark bear didn't seem to be breaking a sweat... 'Is this a dream?'

Manegarm limped out of the undergrowth, finding himself ontop of a hill. He winced as he set his left paw down, and observed the scene before him. A huge bear chased two wolves across the plain. He felt a pang in his heart as he remembered a similar incident that happened to him. His heart had hardened since then, but he still felt something towards the wolves. "Should I help them, and risk even more injury, or do I leave them to it, and risk them dying?" The opposite sides of the argument raged in his head, until the memory of his dead mate surfaced again. He felt his anguish again, and decided he didn't want another to feel that. Even if those wolves didn't know each other, someone must have felt something for one of them. He snarled. "This is possibly the worst descision I've ever made." He muttered to himself, spread his wings and took off, flying down towards the bear

She nodded slightly towards Thor, she could go for a while too, training set her for that. The bear... how long could he go for? An hour? A day? The bear was possessed by a demon of some sort, taking away it's mind, replacing it with madness. Anila shivered, her eyes widnening and heart sinking. "Please..... if that ever happens to me, let someone, or myself, have the bravery to kill me before it take's its tole..." Though, she said it softly through her breaths, a small prayer to herself.
Anila gasped, seeing something out of the corner of her eyes, was that a flying wolf? Oh she has seen everything today, hasn't she! Her heart skipped a beat, the wolf was flying towards them. Had he come to save them, or mock them? She wasn't sure but she wasn't ready to give up yet.
If he comes to mock us... just ignore... She thought to herself, but, what could this could do, if he was to save them?

Manegarm banked down, and said a few words with each pass. "I'll try... to stop... the bear... Once it stops... find somewhere... to hide..." he flew back up, and kept level with the bear. 'How can I stop it...' he thought for a moment. 'the chains won't work. I need to be on the ground, and the bear is probably strong enough to break them. Shadow blades will probably miss. Aha!' He focussed on the ground, and a crack appeared several yards in front of Thor and Anila. "Get ready to jump!" he shouted

OOC: Mind waiting until I can get a post in too? D: You stole my turn. ;-; And it's fine if it's late, you replied! xD His breath came from his maw in thick clouds of steam as he ran beside the femme from the bear, a deep breath in making his hackles raise more, if it was even possible. Thor scented another wolf, and with just a slight turn of his head saw him. The wolf was by the scent of it male but it didn't bother him, what did was what the wolf might or might not do. He could only think of three things in the moment, and they were that he'd start a fight, slow them down, or try to help them. If the fight was the case, Thor wanted to part of it. If he slowed them down, he'd use the energy left to cast his invisibility spell on Anila and hope to get away him self, and if the wolf tried to save them... He couldn't find a reason any wolf would try to mess with a bear. After what seemed like hours more of running his ears twitched to different voice; the wolf speaking of help. "Are you crazy..? It'll.. Kill you," The male panted out through heavy breaths, keeping himself cooled down as he ran still. This wolf had to be crazy to try and challenge something like that bear... But then again, this whole scene looked crazy to Thor. As trees rushed past him and the femme the other wolf was lost from his mind as he once again thought about it all, wishing he would just wake up, that he'd never eat a rabbit before sleep again. As much as he tried to force himself awake it never worked, snapping back into reality to see the ground shifting not too far ahead of them. His wings fluttered at his sides but he refused to take flight with the female beside him, hoping it didn't get much bigger and that they could both jump it.
