A shadow formed over the ground. It grew. A white form descended out of the sky, the stars at her back. She collapsed on the ground, in a clearing near a large tree. She turned and looked at it. Two trees. Right now, she was just to tired to focus on the strange intertwined trees. She struggled slowly to her paws, wings still on the ground. She pulled her wings in slowly, wincing as the burned portion touched her fur. She brought the wing up to her face, inspecting the feathers. The white feathers had been singed black in some places, completely burned away in others. She saw a burn on the skin under some of the singed feathers, so she pulled one out. She winced at the pain, but knew the burn needed to get treated. Her abilities could heal flesh wounds, but this was beyond her. She would need to find water. And stay out of the sky until it healed. It didn't look too serious. Shouldn't take too long to heal. Maybe ten days or so. Faster if it received the proper treatment. But to do that, she had to find a pack that would accept her. And that was easier said than done.

Thunder glanced at this wolf that just fell from the sky. She sighed and walked to the front of this wolf. Her blue fur swaying in a slight breeze. "Come water is this way." She said trotting towards a stream.
"Lets see what we can do about that burn shall we?" she said as she spotted a cluster of dock and a few marigolds. She took both and smashed them into a poultice she then mixed them together. " If you let me apply this it will sooth the wound and prevent infection. " Thunder stated turning to this wolf whom she did not know.
Thunder herself was not a pack wolf and never had been but knew herbs well. If anything she was willing to help so long as she wasn't attacked. Her red eyes went over the appearance of this wolf causally. Ready to apply the mixture on the skin burns if allowed.

Asosa looked at the other wolf. She didn't have pack scent on her. A loner? Well, it didn't matter. She was offering help, and Asosa needed it. She followed the stranger to a water source. "Thank you," she said quietly. She slowly extended the wing, lowering it in front of the other wolf. She shifted the feathers to reveal the burn underneath. She had already removed the one feather that might have prevented the burn from getting treated.
"Do you know of the pack near here?" Asosa asked. "My father told me to find them." It was his last wish she reminded herself silently. She winced as the salve was placed on the burn before a soothing sensation washed over it. "Thank you again," she said. She pulled her wings in, laying them against her back carefully. Her fur was singed in places, obscuring portions of her line markings. The spirals on the back of her wings were partially uncovered, darkening in the sun. The spirals down her legs and around her tail would reveal her to any who knew about the Kishigai pack that had existed until a few hours ago.
Shaking those thoughts from her mind, Asosa bent to drink. Just a few hours of flight wouldn't make her so tired. It was the fire she had thrown at Kiba. That had nearly exhausted her. Flying fr many hours straight had just finished off her energy.

She finished applying the mixture and headed down for a drink. "Yes. You stand on their territory now even." Thunder said. "Tell me. How is your thought and what caused you to come to the state you're in?"
She took note of the spirals and lines and thought of her scar and the black flame patterns up her legs. Our history and family should never be forgotten she thought solemnly. She could tell that this winged wolf had just been through a lot that Thunder could probably relate to. She noticed an awful lot of moss and began making to soft squishy beds out of the stuff as she awaited the others answer.

Asosa looked at the stars, a sad gleam in her sky blue eyes. "I... I don't know what happened to my pack..." she said quietly. "My father pretty much forced me to leave camp and save myself during the fire..." She moved her burned wing. "The flames caught me as I took flight. We were... We were betrayed... At least, that's how I see it... The pack troublemaker, Kiba... He... He played a prank on my mother... Sending her to her death..." She didn't know why she was sharing all this with a stranger. Maybe it was because it was so fresh in her mind. "I... I lost control of my magic... I shot fire from the center of the spirals on my wings... And... I have no idea what happened to my father... Hana... Yemon..." She sighed and laid down on the moss. "My name is Asosa. My mother told me that it means blue sky." She looked at the other wolf. "May I ask your name?"

"I am Thunder, and I can relate to you in some sense. When I was a pup I was split from my family in a forest fire. I came back to were I had last seen them when the fire was over. My brother lay dead on the ground scorched in the fire and left under some wood. I ran from that place and as I came to this land I slowly learned a new way of specking a whole new language. But I will always see my history when I see my reflection." She stood and gazed at her reflection, eyes glaring at the pattern of flames that ran up her legs. She sat again and looked at Asosa "My mother taught me some healing methods through herbs but not all. You never said how your throught was doing." she said.

"I got out before I could be severely affected by the smoke," Asosa told Thunder. "The exertion of the flames and then the hours of constant flight made me tired. I will need to hunt at sunrise." She looked at this sort-of stranger. "Would you like to join me?"
It would be nice to hunt with another wolf. After all, any hunting she'd done in her old pack had been with her siblings.Although she didn't feel it at the moment, Asosa knew she'd be hungry in the morning. Her magic tired her out. It burned through her energy. Right now, her body was to exhausted to feel anything.

"That would be nice." Thunder said to Asosa. She finished making the beds. "But by the looks of it you're awfully tired." she said gesturing towards one of the moss beds. "Maybe better to rest first, If you want I can go after some small prey wile you're asleep and when you wake up we can hunt down something bigger." she said sitting down in her own bed.
She gazed smiling at Asosa. Her ears perked towards her waiting to find out the plan,

"That's a good idea," Asosa said quietly. "And you're right. I'd probably fall asleep in the air at this rate..." She yawned and laid her head down on her paws. Her wings were pulled in close to her back. "I need to find some pack members in the morning," she said quietly. "Once the alpha knows, it'll be easier to find out if any of my pack survived the fire.." She closed her eyes, drifting into a long needed sleep.

Thunder nodded and once Asosa was asleep ran off to hunt some small game. Several hours later she came back with lots of small game and went to sleep on her bed. She awoke at dawn and stood she stretched her legs and went down to the stream. She lapped up water then came back and snacked on a bunny.
When she finished she stretched once again and began grooming. Seeing Asosa wasn't awake yet she went and attempted to catch fish in the stream. She caught three and got soaked in the process. She shook it of and went to see if Asosa was awake yet. The dawn had the sky red yellow and pink as she trotted towards her. Thunder was ready to begin the hunt but if Asosa wasn't she could wait. besides Asosa would need to eat too.

Asosa stretched and yawned. She flexed her wings, showing their full span of about eight feet. She retracted them, keeping them on her back. It was her most streamlined form. Her wings tended to catch the wind when they were out, lifting her into the air with no warning on more than one occasion. She saw the smaller prey, suddenly grateful for making a new sort-of friend so soon after entering Shinkou territory. She looked through for her preferred small meal, then stuck to a hare. She then walked down to the river and lapped up some more water. She went back and ate some more. After that long sleep, she could really feel the hunger. She didn't like to eat right after she used spells. It tended to make her queasy.
She suddenly lifted her head from her meal, eyes closed. She listened to the voices of the wind, specifically listening for any who had news about her pack. "Some escaped...?" she said quietly. A small smile spread over her face. "Thank you," she said to the wind, dismissing it politely. She looked at Thunder. "Some of my pack are still out there. I'm not the only one who escaped that fire!" Her eyes shone brightly. "I'm not the last of the Kishigai."

Thunder grinned widely. But then her nose caught a scent. "You ready?" she asked as she quivered in place ready to head towards the doe she could smell. Her ears flicked back and forth trying to pick out sounds. Surely Asosa would start towards it and then they could bring it down. Her red eyes shone excitedly. Thunder was a wolf of speed specialized to hunt down anything fast if it was big she would run to its side and knock it over, small she would scoop up in her mouth.
She was ready to spring but knew that if her partner wasn't ready the kill would be much harder.

Asosa saw the doe. She licked her lips, flared her wings, and took to the sky. She kept away from the doe, only dropping when she was withing one leap. She landed, curled her wings, and took the leap. She latched herself onto the doe's back with her claws. She flared her wings again and used a sudden gust of wind to her advantage. She let the wind catch her, pulling the doe to a stop. She then twisted her wings, causing the doe to fall on its side. She held it in place while she waited for Thunder to kill it.

Thunder killed the doe but then turned and went racing after something. It was a wild cat and Thunder had spotted it. She gripped onto its back leg then like she would with prey ran alongside it and knocked it over. But the cat pulled her down with it. The cat let out a loud screech as Thunder as she was pinned raked her back legs along its stomach.
She lept away from the cat andraced in again then came out tiring the cat as she injured it. The cat clawed at her side and Thunder bit its haunch. So far both sides had damage and neither could keep this up for much longer.

Asosa saw her chance to make a kill. She jumped into the air, quickly catching up with the cat. She closed her wings, diving down toward the cat. She opened her wings slightly to make her landing safer. She landed a paw on the cat, knocking it down. Then she pinned it, snapping its neck with a blow from her paw. The cat went still. She picked it up in her jaws and went back over to the doe. She dropped the cat and looked at Thunder. Asosa gave Thunder a questioning look, but didn't comment.
