Chiyu collapsed from the loss of so much life energy. She had tried her best to keep the new mother and the pups safe from as much injury and pain as possible. "Well, I guess there has to be sacrificing a bit of life in order to create more," Chiyu thought to herself peacefully as she lay in the wildflowers. The two pups were so beautiful; for no other reason, this was why she had to become an esun.

Tenshi smiled. "Welcome Tempest and Chinook. Welcome to this world. May your lives be long and filled with happiness, may nature bless her goodwill on you, and may you grow up strong and healthy,"
She turned to Streak, "Congratulations Streak!"
She looked at Chiyu. The wolf had clearly suffered from her task. She lay down next to her, trying to comfort her. However, she could not contain her happiness, so she sent colored fireballs into the air. They swirled around, before dispersing.

Streak turned her head to see Chiyu fall to the ground. She let out a short whimper of concern, then relaxed as Tenshi laid down next to the esun. Streak said softly, "Thank you, Chiyu. Without you I would not be here."
She turned back to her pups, licking them clean. After she finished, she laid her head on her paws and fell asleep, exhausted. The pups drank their fill and fell asleep as well.
Zeusia padded over to Chiyu, concerned for the esun. She seemed really tired. "Are you okay, Chiyu?" He asked.

Chiyu slowly opened her resting eyes, a small smile creeping across her face as she saw Zeusia in front of her. "I'm fine, I just need a bit of rest. I'll be up in a minute." She saw Tenshi lying beside her and Streak fast asleep with her new pups. A new pack, new friends, being able to use her power, this is what Chiyu had been searching for all along.

Tenshi felt the tiredness seep into her too. Her wings ached badly as she tucked them around herself. Curled up, she began speaking to Chiyu slowly, clearly almost asleep.
"I remember when I wasn't in a pack. There was no way something like this would happen, at least not where I came from. Me and my sister were quite horrible once. I'm glad that's changed," she whispered, before sinking into a dreamless sleep.
