Cold Hearted or Just Plain out Lonely?-Open

Kashin stood at the edge of the volcano, the warm air flowed around him, his black ears laid black, and white tipped black tail waved in sync with the warm breeze from the volcano. It was his thirteenth birthday, and he had no one to celebrate it with. The memory of the killing of his family churned in his mind, the blood on the wood walls and splattered on his fur. "If they would of just tried helping me instead of fearing me I wouldn't have killed them! They could of helped me but instead chained me up like a rabid mutt!!" Tears welled up in his icy blue eyes, he fought to keep them in. A deep growl rumbled in his chest as he shifted and sprinted down the side of the volcano, heading into the woods.

As the boy ran through the woods, after having shifted, perhaps in his emotions he wouldn't notice he was about to collide with someone else! Or perhaps he would, before it was too late.

She had finally left the village of Abunage, after her tenth birthday. She had also grown braver after her encounter with her father and friend, Crave, and decided that there was something for her to discover in the world. She had much to learn which she was sure she wouldn't hiding in the safety of the village. Her travels had somehow brought her here at this time, and she was ambling through the forest, hoping not to encounter any animals, though part of her suspecting she might. Certainly the last thing she expected was to see another human, about her age, running straight at her! She gasped, sapphire blue eyes growing wide and stepped back, not really sure how to react. "Hey!" she called in a light voice. She hoped it might alert him... if not, he was about to find himself lying on top of her, having knocked her to the ground!

It was that day again. The day her life changed. She could remember it vividly. The blood staining her hands. His last breath as he collapsed to the ground. The way he gripped her hand as he tried to hold on. The death of James. Tears trickled down her cheeks and fell with a soft plop to the ground. She wiped them away, but it was a never ending flow of them. Finally, she just fell to the ground and sobbed. Something ran past her. The scent was... familiar. Rosie shakily got up and transformed into a wolf. She began to sprint after that something whilst wondering where she had smelled that.
It became clear.
This scent was at the death of her brother. Maybe the person saw the killer. Maybe she won't have to look for several years at a time. With this in mind, she ran quicker.
It was lucky she saw the girl in time and halted. Dust rose into the air, then settled, coating her fur. She coughed, then opened her eyes.

OoC: Sorry, guys, but just to clarify cause I got a little confuzzled DX Streak, with the entrance of your character, does that mean Melindonia would possibly thus be almost trampled by two? If so.. poor girl *shakes head*

Oh, sorry no. She doesn't trample your character. She gets her dusty though.

((Kashin stands on two legs in his werewolf form. if you already knew that, sorry >.<)).

As Kashin stormed through the woods, he left deep gashes in trees where he scored them with his claws. Clouded by his thoughts/emotion, Kashin didn't notice the person in his path until he was atop the person. With a startled yelp, Kashin jumped out from his thoughts and collided with the person, toppling them both to the ground. With a growl, Kashin shifted back to his human form and jumped up from atop the person. Blushing when he realized it was a girl, close to his age as well. "Watch were your going." He grunted, his white tipped black tail twitched in annoyance and his black wolf ears laid back. As he dusted off his clothes, the smell of wolf drifted by his nose, and not just any wolf scent, a familiar wolf scent. It smelled just like the one he smelled when he killed some boy.....James? The wolf was close by too, very close by. Maybe it is a relative or even a mate of the boy he killed long ago. Heh, looks like my birthday just got better, he thought.

It was clear he was going too fast to stop before he reached her, so she tried to back up a few steps, only to suddenly be knocked to the ground. She was glad for her cloak, tucked in a pack on her back as it softened the fall, but as he got up and dusted off, grunting something about watching where she was going, she briefly took note of his ears and tail. Now that was something she hadn't ever seen before. A human with a beast's features. She was quite curious indeed, even going so far as to wonder if they were real. "Me? You ran into me..." she murmured, shaking her head as she stood up and also dusted off. She was about to say more when she noticed his attention suddenly was elsewhere and looked in the direction he looked, only to notice a cloud of dust clearing and revealing a wolf there.

She was startled to say the least and almost instinctively leaped behind the boy, her sapphire blue eyes quite large. She peered out, her eyes scanning over the wolf and trying to decide something about it. She wasn't growling and her body language did not indicate hostility. Maybe she wasn't one of the bad ones. But it was early to tell for sure. She looked up at the boy, briefly glancing toward his ears once again before shifting to his face. "What should we do?" she asked, turning her eyes once again upon the wolf.

Kashin rolled his icy blue eyes as the girl spotted his tail and ears, why does everybody have to stare at my ears and tail! He thought frustrated, Oh well, game time, "Your right it was clearly my fault." Kashin put up an "innocent" smile, "I'm Kashin by the way." Kashin about jumped when the girl hid behind him, noticing she was staring at the wolf he had noticed moments before. "Don't worry, That wolf is human like you and, well, half like me." Kashin grinned.

There was that scent again. And it was coming off the boy. Rosie wagged her tail and padded up to the boy. "Did you see who killed James?" she quietly spoke. It was a precaiution in case the girl could understand wolf. But the language of the wolf was spread far and wide so she may have learnt it. She looked at the girl then back at the boy with pleading eyes. Perhaps her eyes scared him but he seemed brave enough. Maybe she might know him.

"Melindonia," she said back softly at Kashin's introduction. His next words about the wolf were more surprising. Half... like him? This wolf... had human? She looked back and forth between the two. That was one thing her father had yet to tell her. Perhaps this was what he meant when he said not all the beasts were evil. She nodded slowly, still not quite understanding how half beast, half human was even possible. But then - perhaps it was like herself. She was half seraph, after all.

She didn't understand what the wolf said, though it was clear she was looking back and forth between her and Kashin. "What does she want?" Melindonia asked.

So She does, well did anyway henh, know James. Now the only question is she a relative or mate? Kashin frowned, "Sorry but no, though I do know who did it. Me and him were friends, you his sister?" Kashin grinned on the inside as well as snickered, this is gonna be fun Henh heh. Kashin turned to Melindonia, "Is it ok if I call you Meli?"
