Nightmare or Reality-OPEN

As the thorny vines crawled across his skin, Subaru let loose a dark laugh, it getting ever so louder as the five vines spread. Black flames began to swarm around him as the five thorn pricked vines crawled up his face, bodies began to pile up around him. "SUBARUUUUUU!!!!" Subaru turned to see his twin brother, Kamui, his face read fear and sorrow. "This is not you!!!!! Fight against the Black Rose, don't let it engulf you!!!" he had cried out. Subaru snickered, "Too late." and lunged at his twin, crimson blood splattered the ground. "Su.....ba...ru..." Kamui whimpered, tears slipped from his now fading iridescent purple eyes. Subaru laughed as death grasped his brother by the heart and dragged him to its dark depths.

"NOOOOOO!!!" Subaru shot up, tears in his iridescent purple eyes, and sweat plastering his silver hair to his forehead. He clutched his left arm and convulsed in pain as the five thorn pricked vines seeped from the places on his arm and crawled farther up his arm as his stress rose higher and higher.

Kamui jumped out of his slumber at his twins scream. Looking over at were Subaru slept, Kamui's eyes widened as his twin convulsed in pain. Kamui raced to his brother's side and pulled him to his chest, trying to keep him still. "Subaru calm down, the Black Rose is spreading!! You need to CALM DOWN!!!" He screamed, then mentally kicked himself, screaming won't help him to calm down. "It's ok, I'm here, we will find a cure, I promise." He soothed. As Subaru calmed, Kamui rocked gently back and forth until Subaru fell back to sleep. As he slumbered, Kamui checked to see how much the vines had managed to get this time. The five vines covered his entire left shoulder. "D----t!" he murmured under his breath.

[Streak]

Rosie crouched as still as she could until her prey came closer to her. She held her sword out in front of her, waiting for the right moment to strike. Perhaps taking down an animal with a sword was not the best way, but she was not going to be a wolf this time. At last! The elk came closer. It sniffed the air then stepped forward slightly. Rosie shuffled a bit. The elk heard this small noise, turned then ran. "Crap!" Rosie shifted into her wolf form and ran after the elk. It was a long time since she ate and she was not letting dinner get away from her. In fact, Rosie was concentrating so much that she didn't see two people in front of her and tripped over them. She rolled away until she came to a gentle stop. By then, the elk was long gone. Rosie shifted back into a human and looked at the trails. Maybe she could hunt the elk down? She shook her head slightly then collapsed onto the ground, clutching her growling stomach.

Kamui clutched Subaru into his chest as the female wolf ran into them. After letting go of his brother, Kamui shifted werewolf form( standing on two legs), and stood protectively above him and growled at the female who ran in to them.

Subaru awoke with a gasp as something ran into him and his brother. Whats going on? Subaru tried to remember why he was in his brother's arms when a sharp pain filled his left shoulder as kamui set him down. Oh right, the Black Rose was spreading and Kamui was holding me as he tried to calm down. Subaru sighed as kamui shifted and stood above him protectively. "I can protect myself you know" He mumured as he rolled out from under Kamui and stood behind him staring at the female.

Akralara groaned inwardly as she looked at the source of the commotion on the forest floor below. These damn humans were everywhere! Well, shortly they wouldn't be here. Alive, at any rate.
A growl rose in her chest, and she dropped from the treetops, landing scant feet away from the lycanthrope twins. Quills bristled along all thirty feet of her alien form, talons glinting dully as she circled them, ignoring the female on the ground some yards away. She would be dealt with later.

"You think you can defend yourself, human?" She hissed, her tail lashing. "That's almost amusing."

[[OoC: Yeah... I kinda let her take the wheel when I was writing this. Anyone else get the feeling that she doesn't like humans?]]

[Streak]

Rosie turned her head to see one of the boys shift into a were-wolf. She came to the conclusion that she was better off hunting for that elk. She stood up and brushed herself off and began to leave. Until she heard a dull thud. She looked around and saw a strange looking wolf. Perhaps a mutant of some sort. Rosie turned to face the wolf. She might have looked menacing had her stomach not growled. Rosie grabbed at her stomach and crouched onto the floor. Tears began to fall down her face. The pain was unbearable. The tears slowly began to stream down her face until Rosie was shaking uncontrollably. Hunger was perhaps the worst kind of pain.

Subaru whipped around at the comment, shifting in the process. "Who are you calling a HUMAN!!" Subaru growled, his purple eyes glisting and temper rising, he hated it when he was called human.

Kamui felt Subaru's temperature rise as well as his anger, he really hated beign called human. "Keep your temper in check Subaru. You don't need 'you know what' to spread again." he whispred to his twin.

[Adurnak]

"Who are you calling HUMAN!?"

"You, human." Akralara hissed, showing her double rows of shark-like teeth. Her fangs stayed hidden, though; no sense in showing her full hand yet. "You and your friends. Why? Do you not like what you are, human?"

[snow]

Subaru took deep breaths, he really did not want the mark to spread again. The mutant wolf spoke again, a growl grew in Subaru's chest. Subaru closed his eyes, No gotta stay calm Subaru. Calm. Calm. Calm. Deep breaths. In. Out. in. Out. Even though he took deep breaths and repeated what he wanted in his head the growl remained in his chest. But, I feel calmer why am i still growling? Subaru opened his eyes but saw nothing, though a loud growl filled his head. No! Subaru lunged at the mutant, his usely bright iredescent purple eyes were dark and filled with blood lust. His jaw agape and claws outstreched, Subaru collided with the mutant, if she hadn't already moved, and tore into her shoulder with his teeth, claws digging into her sides.

"Subaru!!!! Noo!!!!" Kamui's call was to late as his twin lunged at the mutant.

[Adurnak]

So... Not a human after all. Akralara thought, lashing her fifteen-foot tail at the charging lycanthrope. If it connected, the blow would send him flying backwards at his friend, and she would leap back into the tree branches before proceding to adress the two of them.
"It seems I was mistaken, lycan. You are inhuman, as you claimed. For what it's worth, I apologise. You see, I have scarcely been in these lands a half-month, and it feels like every human in the realm is now intent on having me or my pelt as some sort of tool or trophy, simply because their mages cannot touch me. The experiance has lead me to be a bit quick to draw conclusions."

[Streak]

Rosie looked at the wolfess and the werewolf talk whilst crouching. If the wolfess had hit the werewolf, Rosie would jump into the tree branches and glare at the wolfess before returning her gaze to the fight that seemed to be unfolding before her. If however the werewolf had dodged, Rosie would shuffle back a bit and get closer to a bush and hide under it. She would then proceed to watch the events unfurl before her whilst searching for any prey.

Subaru jumped to the side as the mutant she wolf's tail lashed out at him, winching slightly as it grazed his left shoulder were the 'mark' resided. Subaru shifted back, glad to know there was no fighting needed, as well as being able to fight against the 'mark', though apart of him wanted to taste blood.

Kamui sighed as his twin shifted, the tension easing away as he did. With a quick glance at the female, Kamui shifted back as well and stood beside his twin, his silver tail flicking behind him. His voice stern as he called out without even introducing himself. "Who are you!?"

OOC: In their human forms they have their silver tails and ears atop their heads. ((no, their tails are not atop their heads too.... =.= the reason why i say this is because i'm doing a small comic of my chracters(((I'll try and post it when its finished :3))) and I used the same profile, of course, and i let a friend read them and she asked me why the tails were on their heads with their ears. =.= Yeah I know.))

[Adurnak]

"I am Akralara." She replied, her tail twitching as she glanced at the bush the female was hiding in. "Lycan, even if your stomach wasn't growling loud enough to wake the fallen, you are hiding upwind of me. Come out of the undergrowth."

[Streak]

The one thing Rosie didn't want to do was reveal herself. However, the... wolf asked her to. Logic suggested that if she didn't, she would be attacked. After a few moments of debating, Rosie stepped out of the bush in her wolf form. She staggered up to the group, keeping her distance. Once or twice she stumbled on her tail. Rosie sat down and looked at Alkralara then slowly shifted her gaze to the ground. Her stomach protested once more. Hoping the others would not laugh, she bent down and grabbed some grass. Rosie chewed it slowly, hating the taste. But it had to be done. Once she had chewed a mouthful, she sat down, a bit more relaxed.
"M-my name i-is Rosie," she stuttered. The boys looked much stronger than her and Alkralara had weapons she did not posses. Her only defenses were her magic and her cunning. The sword was left in the bush somewhere. Rosie glanced over at the bush and spotted its rusty hilt. If she was going to engage in a fight and she a had a chance to run, she would go there. Otherwise, her magic would have to suffice.

"I'm Subaru and this is my twin brother Kamui." He replied as he motioned towards his brother. "Sorry for attacking you earlier."Subaru said sheepishly while trying to stifle a laugh as Rosie's stomach growled. Shifting into an everyday wolf, Subaru shook his silver pelt and darted into the bushes returning a moment later with a plump rabbit."Here you go." Subaru said after setting the rabbit down and shifting back into a human with a gentle smile.
Kamui kept to himself as his twin spoke. Nice as always. He thought to himself as his brother gave the female a rabbit, his tail twitched in annoyance. He needs to learn to only hunt for me and him.

Akralara gave a snort of amusement when Subaru apologized.
"You have nothing to be sorry for, Cursed One. I openly invited attack through my actions and words.
Moving with an eerie grace, she leaped down from the branches of the oak to land directly between Rosie and the bush her sword was under.
"You disapprove?" She rumbled at Kamui, catching the irate flick of his tail at his brother's generosity.
