As Alastolan bolted after Yin, it seemed for a few moments that she was going to make the chase interesting and actually be fast enough to make it last. That is before she bumped into another wolfess that was in the air. With a slight snicker, he flew over to hear the words they spoke to each other. Listening to the new wolf he looked at her a bit concerned about her demeanor. Her words were almost a bit rude, but he didn't quite believe it was on purpose. More like that's just the way she was. He interjected after Yin had spoken back to her however. "I wouldn't quite say it's blissful happiness. Blissful would imply supreme happiness when in fact we just met and started to play a friendly game of tag and get to know each other a bit. Happiness, absolutely. But blissful is a bit strong of a word...." He looked over to Yin and smiled brightly. "At least for now it is." He turned to face the new wolfess that had come before them and he tilted his head a bit and asked her. "So what is it that brings you here to the forest? Not many winged wolves actually come here, so it's quite surprising to see two of you here. And Yin I already know but I'm curious as to about your purpose here?"

"Is that so?" she said back, observing the way he smiled at the the wolfess who had bumped into her. So calm, smooth, easily flowing into words of explanation. "Mm.. of course, must have been my mistake." Wolves like this - she wondered if they had ever known pain, loss, hardship. Suddenly, her sister flashed through her mind and she couldn't help the mental scowl. Well, it was true that dear Kashila had been through just as much as she had - and she was all peace and patience and life goes on. Trying to convince her of the joy in moving forward. But she had been stubborn, seeing her vengeance to the end. And now she was just feeling a little bit of hurt pride. Which made her somewhat mean, and negative, as Yin had pointed out in question.
"A wolfess can keep her business..." she murmured, "But then since I so clearly interrupted your happy game, I should at least oblige you with an explanation, shouldn't I?" her words were somewhat drawn out. Almost sarcastic, but at the same time having a hint of sincerity, even if only slight. It was enough to say she would answer his question - but not in a compliant fashion necessarily. "In short, I have no purpose as my every devotion in life is now completed and thus I am in search of meaning." Oh yes, that sounded so dramatic... or perhaps not. "Also, wolf, you might note that you yourself have wings," she stated concerning his pondering about why winged wolves would be here.

Yin had never experienced the feeling of jealously so when she felt it, it was completely unnatural. Her tail twitched as she tried to attack the feeling and replace it with something else. After several moments, Yin managed to control the feeling. She listened to the short conversation then began to rethink her statement as to the wolfess being negative. Perhaps her past was something that damaged her. Yin knew that her past wasn't exactly unicorns and rainbows. She came to the conclusion that the wolfess had a disturbing past. "What's your name? Mine's Yin." Yin waited for a reply, her tail twitching slightly.

As Alastolan listened to their words, he simply hovered there with simple flaps of his wings. He turned as he listened to Yin introduce herself and then back to the other wolfess. "Ah, thank you Yin. I do believe an introduction is in order, and my name is Alastolan. Now, about your other comment of having wings myself, I am well aware, but I come here often because it's one of my favorite places to relax and simply think. But even as much as I frequent this place, this is the first, maybe second time I've seen a winged wolf aside from myself. So to see two of them you can admit would be fairly uncommon to me." He simply stared at her for a few moments before he continued. "I too am curious as to your name since we have both introduced ourselves. And I am sorry you seem to be so negative, but when it comes to a search for meaning, if you go about looking for it through hurt eyes.... you will never find it. I know this from personal experience and I am not as young as you might believe me to be."
His words may have seemed a little hurtful at most, but they were the truth. He wasn't young, but he wasn't old either. He was in his prime and he wasn't naive or inexperienced in life. He was curious as to see what the wolfess would say in response to his words.

Vellina was finding herself growing a slight confusion. In truth, Kashila was the only experience she had had with those who are able to move on from any sadness, accepting, healing. All her other encounters and experiences were those fixed on the past, broken, angry. But these wolves were much different in deed. They spoke to her with patience almost a certain gentleness behind it. There was no way they knew, or could understand. Still, it felt strange and alluring, though on instinct she wanted to reject it with the same cold, harsh approach. It reminded her of arguments between herself and her sister. They introduced themselves, and of course it was only courteous to do the same. But it felt different from times before. Before, she had done it with a sense of control, pride even. Presenting herself in her way. The situation going her way. But everything was turning out differently. As if these two were resilient to her sarcasm.
"Vellina," she stated matter-of-factually. As Alastolan, as he called himself, went on to explain his inquiry of winged wolves in the area, she simply shrugged, thinking that eventually, things change. He spoke of her negativity - how had this whole thing gotten turned around on her? Initially, the point was to cause mischief, stir up a little trouble. It was like it was backfiring and making her feel awkward and uneasy. She definitely did not handle such situations well. In fact, in the past, she had typically reacted with aggression. But this circumstance was different.
What did he mean looking for it through hurt eyes? She wasn't hurt, or so she told herself. She was simply confused and living life currently without purpose. Something that made her feel empty and motivated to find purpose. There had to be a goal. A path ahead. Something to achieve. Some end. She was an action sort of wolfess. It was impossible for her to be comfortable simply lying around being lazy. She needed a drive. But now that her previous goal had been reached, she had no idea where to begin, what to do. She was too stubborn at this point to try and mend things for her sister. 'So what now I'm looking for purpose by trying to screw with others' happiness?' she thought to herself.
She stared at Alastolan for only a moment. "Alright," she paused, "You've made me curious. Perhaps I might tag along with you two for a while?" She glanced between the two, searching for their reactions.

Yin nodded at Vellina's response then spoke, "At the moment, before I bumped into you, we were playing tag. But perhaps that game has ended?" Yin glanced at Alastolan then back at Vellina. Yin was about to say something else when she sneezed. The force of the sneeze made her go backwards. Yin regained her balance and flew up level with Alastolan. She rubbed her nose then waited for Alastolan's reply.

Simply giving gentle flaps of his wings to maintain a steady altitude, Alastolan had listened to Vellina as she introduced herself simply by stating her name. He had looked to Yin as she spoke and slowly nodded as he also agreed to Vellina. "Yes, Yin. Our game is over for now even though it just started. And as for you Vellina, you may join us as long as you wish to." Turning around so his back faced them he spoke just a bit more. "You know, a being can be hurt in many ways. Not just physically or emotionally. You can break and damage ones will. Hurt their pride and even make their ego crumble around them. Anyone in search of meaning in life, is hurt in some form. It's the very reason why they search. To heal their wound whether it be of the body, mind or heart and soul." With his words, he quickly went into a nose dive before pulling up at the last moment and padding across the ground as his momentum carried him forward a bit.

((I'm sorry Rel))
Yin briefly nodded at Alastolan's words. Memories flooded her as she remembered the time when she and her brother were apart. She was devastated but carried on looking for him, hoping to create a meaning in her life. To be with her brother. But that time was in the past. As her mother once said, 'Never dwell in the past if you want to move forward in life.' Wise words. And since then, Yin tried not to think too much about her past. She was thinking about the present and the surprises it may hold.
When Alastolan dived, Yin gave a quick glance at Vellina then followed Alastolan down at a slower pace. Once she landed, Yin ran forward and slowed down, like a jet landing. She stood next to Alastolan then turned her gaze up to the sky to see whether Vellina would follow them.
