She had to admit she felt entirely the same. "I too feel that way," she said before nuzzling him loveingly. Her tail broke loose to wag and then curl around his again. |

Softly his gaze continued to be locked with her's. Softly his nose rubbed her's and he smiled. "Antartica..I want to spend eternity with you. I want us to let our love grow and be strong as I know it can. Antartica...will you be my mate, my eternal love, my life-long companion?" His eyes looked into her's lovingly, waitinf for her answer.

She nodded, "Yes, I would be most honored," she whispered. She kissed him on the cheek and nuzzled his neck. Her mind was lost in a romantic state, her whole body feeling more free and wonderful than ever before. Her dazzling eyes met his, and looked into them deeply. She wiggled under his chin, so that his head was resting on hers. Somehow, it made her feel safer, and she loved it. |

Softly Icewolf looked into her gaze. His head stroked her's warmly as a smile of love came across his maw. Warmly he gazed into he orbs, loving how the sunset reflected in her eyes. Slowly his own eyes closed as he sat there, his love so close to him. The warrior nuzzled Antartica caringly, loving how soft and smooth her fur was.

She let him nuzzle her, quite and fully enjoying the affection. It made all her worries vanish like vapor and all her cares but this one disappeared.
She looked up slowly and saw that the sun had almost disappeared, gone to sleep beyond the horizon. The sky had grown slightly darker and the deep navy blue of night was beggining to cast it's shade. The moon was beggining to rise and spread its silvery light across the land. Stars had begun to twinkle here and there making the night sky more beautiful than ever. "Night has cast its spell of sleep on the sun, and the moon has begun to awake." She said quietly looking up into her mate's eyes. A smile crossed her lips and she sighed pleasantly, with a satisfied feeling. She nuzzled him sweetly. "Midnight will arive not much farther, and the moon will be casting it's deepest light, to make even the night fill with beauty." Her words were soft, and sweet like honey, to anyone whose ears the rhythmic tune of her voice might reach. |

Softly his gaze looked into Antartica. The warrior smiled and softly touched his nose to her's. His voice spoke up slowly. "May our feet be fast, may out claws be sharp. May our legs be strong and make our will the same. May death come or victory's bliss. What ever may become of us we are warriors, we are Elite. Our strength is great and our precision greater. We live, we fight, we die." Icewolf's eyes had glazed over slightly as he had spoken the old verse. The masculine knew not why he had vocalized that.

Deeply he murred at the sign of affection from her. His muzzled softly rubbed against her's. "A verse me and my comrades used to say before we went into battle."

Interesting, replied she and she kissed him sofly. She turned and lept from the rock onto the cliff's top once again and turned to wait for him. "It makes one sound more brave, and I think it makes you sound heroic." |

Softly he returned the kiss, his icey blue eyes watching her as she leapt to shore. Quickly he followed suit and padded to her side. "Thankyou my love." Icewolf smiled brightly and nuzzled his mate warmly.

She smiled happily. "Personally, I like gazing at the moon and I think most will agree it's fun to howl at it." said she, wagging her tail. Shall we do so from here, as it has a good view, and is beautiful to one's sight?" |

Icewolf smiled and felt his own tail sway happily. He nodded quickly to her suggestion. "Yes I think we should stay here. It is indeed beautiful, just as you are." The warrior smiled and nuzzled the top of her head softly.

She slightly blushed at his words, turning her cheecks a slightly pinkish color, but it soon went away. She did not know exactly what to say so she decided not to speak for the moment. She sat beside him, her head under his maw, watching the night with deep dreamy blue eyes, that seemed to sparkle with the very stars above. She sighed with happiness and curled her tail around her soft hinds. She watched as the moon rose, and more stars gradually appeared here and there, disappearing and reappearing, in their nonstop twinklings.
Midnight came quickly as time passed quickly when one is enjoying his or herself and the moon shone ever brighter. She gazed at it, feeling magically engulfed, even though she had only a small amulet that possessed no spirits yet, dangling from her neck on a white chain that seemed to have a bluish tint.
Suddenly, the air was pierced as her howl shot into it, loudly and sweetly, with a beautiful tune of happiness. |

Slowly Icewolf raised his head to the heavens. His own song told a story within it's note. It started out somber and grew more sorrowful. Suddenly the warrior's eyes snapped open as a memory flooded his mind...
Quickly the six surviver's ran from the battle field, their white furred leader taking the rear to protect his comrades. As the blood colored sunset ended the fleeing warriors were engulfed in darkness. Slowly the small group slowed to a hault. The warrior named Savage slowly spoke up, breaking the silence.
"Did you all see that? Thor...and Zues were swarmed...I couldn't even see them until they were dead. Those monster's ate their flesh!"
Savage's exclamation sent shiver's up all of the other's backs. Slowly Hawk spoke up.
"They...they killed Eagle. They killed my brother! I'll kill them. I'll get revenge! I'll.."
Yet his angry ranting was cut off as Icewolf smacked him hard upside the head.
"You idiot! You can't take all of them by yourself. There are thousands of them. Now everyone, we have seen our brothers, our friends, and even our family be slaughtered tonight. I am sorry, it is my fault..if you want vengeance than kill me."
The group seemed shocked by this and again silence enveloped them. Tagger's voice this time broke the silence.
"Don't be silly Icey. We made an oath to always follow you and we'll hold to it. Right guys?"
Loudly the other's shouted their agreements.
"I could never kill you Icey." Hawk said this slowly...
Suddenly the flashback ended and Icewolf was confused slightly as to where he was. His song had drifted off to and end.

She looked at his confused face and gave him a kiss and a nuzzle on the cheek. "Is anything wrong?" asked she, realizing that his note had long ended. She smiled warmly and nuzzled him softly. Her tail became entwined in his as she moved to sit beside him. Her blue eyes searched his in wonder. Her soft white fur swayed briskly about in the small breeze coming over the cliff's edge.
It was now later in the night, and the moon had begun its sink to make room for the suns arise. The stars were less frequent but the ones still there were burning brightly in the velvety sky that they lit.
Antarctica gazed at her mate. "We have been up for long and we should get some sleep," said she, with a slight yawn. "I had an idea of a nice warm place of my own, but I would have no arguments if you had your own place." she said nuzzling him softly and nipping playfully at his ears and fur. She met his gaze with a warm smile. |
