Kohana smiled as she saw the wolf return. She gently took the pouch from his jaws carefully placing it to the side. She nodded at him, "Thank you, my friend," she said softly. "You may only stay if you wish," she murmered gently, attention returning to the man.
Every now and then, she would sprinkle tiny, clear droplets about the man, being careful and gentle. She spoke also, but her voice a mere whisper, soft and easy like a flowing breeze.

Fren shook his head, never a day as this hath come upon him. He sat there unsure of strange human ritual. He licked his maw, unsure of what to do.

A groan of fading agony arose from that being whos conciousness had been whiped away not moments ago. His fingers reached out, searching, until finally they found wht they were looking for. Slowly he gripped the stout pole he had carried with him. Painstakingly he began to use that prop to clambor to his feet.

Kohana was glad he had returned to consciousness, though she was still unsure that he really had regained his health completely. She watched him get to his feet, gazing up at him. She realized that he even getting hurt in the first place had been her own fault, though she had meant no harm. She sighed, at least she had tended the wound he had recieved. She hoped that it would do, unless he wanted to dunk his head in the lake's water. She smiled at the thought.
She looked up at him, "I am sorry for startling you before," she murmered with a smile. As she looked him over, the thought again came to her mind, 'Was he really 'human', or did he perhaps have something else that ran in his veins?' She couldn't quite tell, but she was sure that she would find out soon enough. She still sat there, simply watching him.

Quickly he pulled himself into a rather weak defensive position. His limbs shook but his will was strong. A feral snarl passed over his lips. "Vile human. I will not allow you to take me back and fool again with me. I am no longer under your control!"

She frowned, her eyes suddenly gaining a look of confusion. Was he mad? she wondered. She shook her head, surely not. She sighed, gently standing to her feet, a look of kindness coming to her face. "Please, I have no idea what you might be talking about," she said softly.
She eyed him, her blue eyes shining. She leaned against a tree gently, watching him with eyes that held many emotions that swirled within. Perhaps the branch falling on his head had caused him...but, no, for he had been this way before he had fallen unconscious. What had his past been like? Could he have had humans in the past that beat him down? Perhaps, so. She watched him, waiting for his reply.

It was stupid to come in this form. Yes very stupid. He felt cornered. This form was injured and he wouldn't be able to flee easily. With a smirk he took a step back. Suddenly his legs twisted around with a crunching noise. His nose elongated and his ears moved on his head. There were tearing noises as a tail formed. The being kept growing until he was soon a massive wolven. His thick fur was the deepest black imaginable. A snarl again pulled at his lips as the new formed being took a step back.

She watced him, though did not move towards him. "Why might you be frightened?" she asked. She could not tell exactly what he was, frightened, angry, nervous, but she was sure he was frightened in some way. She sighed, cocking her head curiously.
Her eyes fell from him to the other wolf, that had helped her, and was sitting to the side. She watched him for a moment, but soon returned her attention to the man, or rather, the masive wolven, pushing her hair back behind her shoulder.

A deep growl came from the massive wolven that the man had become. There were many sources pooled behind that natural warning. Anger, fear, anxiety, confusion. Many things seemed to trouble this wretched soul. And not alot could be determined positively about him. Yet one thing that was for sure was that humans were his least favorite choise of company. Not that either of these beings knew it, but there was a very good reason behind his feelings. Not one he shared alot though.
