Kindare and Falchion fought ferociously against one another, ignorant of the others. With the slicing sound of metal through flesh, followed by a loud cry of pain, Falchion fell to the ground. Mercilessly Kindare struck again, cutting off the wolven's head in one clean sweep. Lewdly he spat on the corpse. "That's for hitting my brother."
High in the sky the final battle ensued. It nearly tripled the ferocity of the fight below. Tagger's claws grazed across the fleeting flesh of Icewolf. The two were neck and neck, fighting to the death. Blood rained down onto the ground below from the wounded warriors. Icewolf growled and with a thunder crack a force hit Tagger square in the chest, causing him to plumet to the ground quickly. As Icewolf followed, Tagger opened his wings and turned about. Like a bullet from a gun he zoomed by a confused Icewolf. The Defender looked up to see his foe but was instead met with a metal claw in the face. Now the white wolven fell to the ground, hitting the earth with a thud. But split seconds later Tagger landed a few feet away. Slowly he walked over to his crippled foe. Icewolf meanwhile was attempting to rise. Yet the world was black and his legs broken.
"Go ahead Tagger. Finish the job."
"With pleasure."
And in but a moment the life of the last Defender was cut away. Before the body even hit the ground a blue light lifted from the corpse. Tagger watched as the light flew to him slowly. Curiously he poked the pure energy with his nose. In retaliation the orb shot into the victorious mascu's chest. A gasp of pain escaped him as his foe's spirit melded into his own. With a thunk he fell to his knees. clawing at the ground from the painful transference.
