Up in the dark and deep space, the earth reached it's point where the sun shines directly down at the border of Shinkou Ookami. But even in this intense heat, there is still a wolf who stays away from the safety of the shade.
A pearly white figure stepped before the towering marble. His phantomic eye scanning the giant rock. This is astounding, he thought. Even he can't summon a tower that high. Okay so he might be able to. But what is this place anyway? Maybe this is the Shinkou Ookami his father been talking about. Well, it's not as impressive as he thought it would be. Just a giant twenty foot boulder standing straight up like a pole, he can make twice as tall. And there's nothing else here except grass and stones.
Ah well, now that he's here, he might as well signal the other wolves about his arrival. It was his father's decision that he stays here. He opened his mouth and let out a single, loud howl, signalling any wolves in the vicinity. Been there, done that. Now what? Sleep. He sat down to have a nice little nap before they come nosing into his little dream of eating cranberry and potato pies. Wait. what?

Kyse's white ears shot up, catching the sound of a wolf hollowing. She stood up and shook the sleep from her tired body before spreading out each of her fairy wings that scattered dust about her feet. She yawned, her long pink tongue lolling out of her mouth and glistening in the new sun. She hopped up, the wings beating wildly to keep her adrift in the cool winds.
The rhythm of her wings sounded that of a humming bird, or peharps a tiny heart beat as she made her way to where the howl had originated. Her lavender eyes took in the new scenery as she flew closer and closer towards the large rock that jutted up into the sky. Kyse was soon panting with the effort she needed to make any headway into the opposing winds. Her paws dangled uselessy in the air as her wings became a blur to try and sped up her process. She burst through the bushes and tumbled onto a large, flat boulder, banging right into a white furry leg.

A howl caught the attention of the large black brute. His icy blue eyes looked around him, but he didn't even have to look to see where the howl had come from. He could feel the other wolf's presence, so all he had to was follow his instinct. He had been alone for quite some time now, since he hadn't been around any other being for a few monts now, and to him it was about time to be soical. He smiled to himself, his black lips curling up and revleaing the wicked white canines of his that were just a little too long for his mouth. The tips of them always stuck out under his lips and proudly glinted in the sunlight. A dead giveaway of what he truly was. The midnight hued brute was a vampire, he craved blood from time to time, and yes, it got out of hand sometimes. And he couldn't control himself. Look what happened to his long-gone mate Ash. In a bloody rage he had killed her, but that was almost a thousand years ago...
He strolled quietly through the forest, getting closer and closer to the wolf, now wolves. He could feel yet another presence and he smiled just a little more. So now he'd have to be on his best behavior and be extra social. He came into view and saw a white wolf with wings had stumbled over the brute and he couldn't help but let out a low chuckle. He then saw that the other wolf, the brute who summoned them was white as well. The black male stood out in dark contrast to them, the only color on his body that seemed to match them was the mark on his chest, the stark white fur that was in the shape of a heart and had intricate tribal markings on it. The mark of his kind. He came up to them and stood about ten or so feet from them, nodding his head to silently greet them.

Kyse’s ears twitched, sensing the black wolf’s approach. She looked to him, cowering behind the white brute’s leg. Her wings quivered fearfully, her 12 inches of height against his who knows how many. Kyse flattened her white ears against her head, her fur rising on end as she growled warningly at the black brute. She could sense something off about him, he seemed too… Well, she didn’t which word too use but he seemed to be too much of something.
The white triangular fang tips that jutted down over the black brute’s lips triggered something in Kyse’s mind; a warning signal of sorts blinked in her head. She would have to be careful with this one.
