The wolf obviously did not understand Arra’s question and any interest she had in his presence quickly died away, she disliked having to explain her words to another so she shrugged and turned away from him; with FrostBite out of her mind, she was able to turn all her attention towards the scent of Tagger. She climbed to her paws, making sure her fur was in place and not a speck of dirt was clinging to her fur, before she raised her head and gave a hollow call for the mascu, she made sure none of this troubling emotions (bliss, love, longing) were in her voice.

The song of his love drifted through the air, carried by the unseen particles to drift into his mind. Maybe those feelings that she felt were not hidden and he could sense them, or maybe his mind was so clouded with the rush of returning to his lover from being away for so long, that he created the thought that she felt the same things he did. Yet no matter the cause, the mascu heard her lovely voice that still rang in his head. Quickly he threw back his head and let out and excited song. Even though the only thing that kept them from sight was a bush, the creature wanted to show her how excited he was to see her. He wished he had told her where he was going or what he was to do. That was in the past and maybe his surprise for that femme he loved so dearly would make her happy. Always whenever this creature went on a trip he would bring gifts back to Fierce, even before they were mates he did that. As soon as the song ended the behemoth crashed through the bush to look upon his eternal lover with a smile. No longer was he that bulky masculine from before. Still he had his strength, if not more. Yet now he was lean, agile, more deadly. The scar on his right foreleg where he had torn that vile mark off shined brightly in the light. The flesh of that scar was translucent and one could see the corded muscles and veins at work. To a normal creature they might find this anomoly gruesome or horrific. Yet to this being it was an amazing sight that he had spent nights gazing upon.

Frostbite saw that he was no longer of any importance to either of them, or at least now. He shrugged and sat on his haunches, mummbling something to himself. He watched slowly, but said nor did anything. The truth was was that he was not entirely sure whether he should just leave and let the others do as they wished, or stay and wait to see if he could, or should do anything. He took a deep sigh.

Arra moved forward, no warmth in her eyes as she moved in the direction of her mate, she ignored the other wolf as she passed through the bush and locked eyes with Tagger; she wasn’t sure whether to use a soft voice with him or to be cold for his terrible absence, she was particularly because most of her plans had been cut short during his silence. She allowed a soft smile to cross her face before she leaned forward to nuzzle him, her nose brushing against his face and neck before she finally pulled back, “Tagger, you’ve been away for such a long time.” It was that instant that her calm demeanor left her, the coldness returning to her cruel eyes, and she raised her paw before bringing racing down in an attempt to smack the mascu.

Frostbite watched with intent, for a moment. He winced as he saw her paw raise, knowing that there was probably going to be a smack. He now saw he was of no importance to the either of them. Perhaps that was for the better, he thought. He looked in their direction watching them for a moment, and then decided it was best he leave them and whatever they were going to do alone. He looked up at the dark night sky, gray clouds floating about overhead. He smiled as he saw one that slowly passed the moon. He then spread his wings in flight. He lifted off the ground, his large wings beating with powerful flaps to raise him higher, before he gently began to glide upon the different wind currents that filled the air.

It was as if he had anticipated the smack. Even as the sting of her paw sting stayed within the flesh of his cheek all the creature could do was smile. He was definately not the same wolven he had been when he has left. After a moment of silence, the lithe creature spoke. "For one, the wolf Tagger is no longer fully alive in a sense. I have changed quite a bit in different ways. And for two.." Quickly he slipped off a deer skin sack that clattered with the sound of bone upon bone. "..All this time I have been doing as you last wished me to do. You wanted me to destroy the Defenders so I destroyed them. Their source for their 'cause is no longer alive. They wanted to atone for hurting the many families of the north so I killed the remainders of those families. All of their fangs are in that sack." The murderous creature smiled slightly and seemed to have forgotten the earlier strike from his mate. Softly he rubbed his scarred muzzle into her cheek. "I hope this makes up for my absense my love."

Arra shrugged and turned away from him, disinterest clear in her eyes as she returned to her favorite shire spot; she had no love for the mascu wolf, any emotions Fierce had felt for the fool were not alive within the new femme. The only reason she bothered with him was because she knew that few other wolves knew about Fierce’s death, it would be suspicious if Arra were to leave Tagger if everyone thought the two were mates, besides she couldn’t do this on her own. Of course, once she had succeeded in destroying Numl, she would move towards Yueh and destroy the elderly Alpha, then everyone would know the truth.

The being did not let her turn from him. Quickly and deftly he leapt to stay in her line of vision. For a brief moment a bit of Tagger showed through. "Fierce..." His voice was quiet, just above a whisper. "I know I have been gone a long time...and I know I must have said some hurtful things...All ask is for forgiveness.. I truly love you with all my being. I would do anything you asked me to. I became this new murderer of a self for you. I killed the families of the Defenders for you. I do it all for love.." For a long moment his voice faded into nothing, the notes drifting away on the breezes.
Yet the silence would be broken again. When he spoke again there was an odd tone in his vocals. The tone was something halfway between curiousity to the unknown and fear to that same thing. " Something has changed within you...I can tell it by the way you act...but you must come to learn. Things have changed in me too. Yet one thing remains solid. The day that I said you had my eternal love. Remember that day? Well nothing has changed that vow. I will always love you...'Cause true love is everlasting...it will fade at times, but it's always there." That muscular head of his dropped a few inches and suddenly this warrior seemed much older. 'Lo he was still that murderer he had become. Yet he looked to be greatly fatigued. Slowly he took a few strides away and stopped to look at her. "I'd tell you where I am going but I know that if you don't already know where that is you will be able to find me. Just do me a favor. Think over my words. For now I must rest." And with that the mascu trodded off to the den he had once had as a home. The den with the walls covered in blood.
