Yuna found herself laughing at Tenebrous attempts to catch the hare. She felt she wanted to show him some of her real speed, now that they were on the plains, which was her specialty. Like a bolt of lightning, she streaked across the plains, her body, a mere blur of motion. She was at least racing at 80mph, so fast that she was almost invisible. She darted towards the hare like a bullet, opening her jaws wide and leaping forward, attempting to seize the juicy morsel in her hungry mouth.

The hare was caught even before Tenebrous had the chance to get it himself. Bewildered, he slowed to a halt, his whole head swiveling around as if trying to catch the scandal with his eyes. To his surprise, it was Yuna. The hare appeared clasped in her jaws. A buffeted look crossed his features, but he quickly shoved the grievance aside. He enjoyed Yuna being happy. He didn't want another row with her. "Breathtaking!" he called to her blithely, scampering up to her. "Do have--well... is your element lightning?"

Yuna put the hare down and smiled, her tail wagging at his compliments.
"Well, no, I'm just really fast... I was raised that way, heh. I don't have a specific element, I can just manipulate them. Where I am from... We were no longer born with elements... "
She lowered her head and began to eat the hare, not speaking further than that.

OOC: Simply because red is cool and will henceforth be overused! For the longest time, he simply looked at her, finding new awed respect towards her. "Well! The Lightning-elementals will certainly feel jealous towards you. You run like the wind! I haven't even seen a wolf with that element run like you do." Then he watched her gorge herself at the hare. "The smilodon said that you were a Shaman Dog. I've never heard of one."

Yuna stilled at the word Shaman dog. She was silent for a moment, then she rose her head, her gold eyes serious and distant.
"It's true... I am a Shaman Dog. These feathers on my mane, is a mark of them, kinda like ownership... You see..."
She looked away, a somewhat sad expression formed on her face.
"Where I come from... Far, far beyond Shinkou, man has taken over everything. Everything wild is domesticated to the point of losing their natural abilities and survival skills. We were denied freedom, and we were lied to till the point we really believed we were no longer wild. That we were never wild... However, I was fortunate to be rescued by a Shaman by the name of Nolenkiki, he saved me when I was a pup. However, time spent in that concentration kennel, ultimately stripped me of my natural elements and abilities... I could never get them back, however, he taught me how to use Shaman Magic. Shamans are the only humans that are born with powers, because they respect and worship nature and all living things, so in the eyes of the gods, they are merciful. I was taught to use the magic, however, without his help, I would be nothing, perhaps long dead. I cannot create the elements, but I can manipulate them, and I can also sense the auras and magical properties each and every beings contains. I can speak to the eagles, the bears, the crickets. I can read the signs of nature, even the wind whispers. Only reason I can run so fast was because I was trained to, I would literally run down mountains and slightly sloping cliffs, and often, to escape the mad men that tried to kill us. Though i lost my magic, my body was still able to evolve and adapt, so it did. However, about a year ago... They had found our village, and me and Nolenkiki tried to fight them, but a fire broke out, he told me the gods were trying to protect us. He told me to run and help the others, to lead them to safety. I took them to a forest and then went back for my friend, but I couldn't find him. I followed the prints of his horse for days, but they vanished into thin air at one point. By that time I was officially lost, so I been wandering around ever since."
She continued to look of into the distance, lost, deep in thought.

Upon listening to Yuna, Tenebrous was completely silent. His eyes softened with each word she spoke. "How horrible," he stated as she concluded her story. He likewise fell into a reverie, but instead of gazing off elsewhere, he was looking at her face thoughtfully. "You are an unique and mysterious wolf," said he. "I'm glad to know those things about you." Poor Tenebrous didn't quite know what to say. He was at a loss for words with the story of the humans and her strange powers. Only when Yuna said so, he took notice of her feathers tangled up in her mane. He saw them before, but never quite paid attention to them like he did now. To Tenebrous, instead of knowing it as a mark of a Shaman Wolf, they appeared more so her trademark as simply herself - Yuna. "You are strong."

Yuna's gaze went to Tenebrous at the words "You are strong", she didn't understand what he meant.
"Heh, I'm not strong, I'm just foolish..."
A crooked smile formed on her face, an ear went back and the other cocked to the side slightly. She then looked down to the grass and smiled.
"I really miss the feeling of the soft grass and the gentle breeze..."
Her voice then fell to a whisper as she looked to the sky.
"Most of all, I miss Nolenkiki..."
I hope hes alright... she thought to herself, still trying to believe he was out there somewhere.and

"Why would you be foolish?" he asked her perplexedly. "You are not. You are strong in my eyes. Have I any reason to lie?" Then Yuna spoke of Nolenkiki. "Nolen... what? Who's he?" inquired he, with a small hint of jealousy in his voice.

Yuna replied, not even changing her pose.
"Nolenkiki... The shaman who saved and raised me... Not my master... My friend..."
She looked to the floor, her eyes sad and distant. She then raised her head and howled a deep, mournful tune as it filled the skies. YOu'd never suspect she had such a voice on her, yet it was obvious she was a howler by nature. Her howls were like flute tunes, shifting impressively upon each tune.
(Kinda like the wolf from legend of zelda twilight princess lol XDD)

"Oh, right," he responded, blushing visibly. It was obvious; Yuna had only said his name a few times in her story. Suddenly, Yuna was singing mournfully to the heavens. Tenebrous felt touched by it. "Yuna...," he sighed subtly. "I wish I could help." That was all he could really say. He felt overwhelmed by Yuna's feelings, and it was obvious that he was deeply afflicted by them also. Then, he made a move as if he was going to embrace her, but he fell back, unsure of his actions. Instead, he continued to listen to her forlorn song, his heart thumping a bit faster than necessary.

Yuna continued to howl, her final one, a hight pitched tune that made the skies ring it seemed. She then put her head down and her ears fell back. She tucked her tail close to herself and closed her eyes, feeling lost and insecure. She remained that way, silent, and low.

No longer could he cease himself from doing the thing he did not feel comfortable with doing from the start. Rising slowly, he walked up to Yuna, and reclined back upon his haunches by her side. If she allowed it, he'd nuzzle her cheek facing him. "It will be all right," he whispered. "Don't despair. You might find him again some day."

Yuna tilted her head towards his whispers, feeling his muzzle graze hers. She couldn't help it anymore, she hated feeling so lonely. She moved close to Tenebrous, nuzzling her head underneath his, while moving her chest closer to his. An intense feeling coursed through her, it almost made her cry. She hadn't felt this was in years, the feeling of being at home, even cared for. She realized she was getting somewhat really close to him and pulled away shyly.
"....Sorry Tenebrous... I...don't know what came over me..."
She turned her head away from him.

OOC: *Giggles and squirms* Ahhhh. x-x Tenebrous felt Yuna shift and move closer to him. He felt his own heart fluttering like a wild butterfly against strong winds. Yet he allowed it, feeling her loneliness break. Perhaps they needed eachother in times like these. It caused his heart to ache. Alas, no longer was he confused or wanted to draw away from these feelings. He wanted to hold Yuna like she was a delicate, rare jewel. She pulled away, then made an appology. An appology for what? "Yuna," he gasped, abashed. "Please, you're fine! Yuna..." At that instant, without truly thinking at all, he moved closer to her and attempted to kiss her muzzle - that is, if she allowed it to happen.

Yuna turned her face when he called her name, and the moment she did, their noses connected. Yuna's eyes peered at their noses, and a blush crept onto her face as her ears went back. She blinked, and her eyes slowly drifted to his steel gaze. She felt as if she had a mouse stuck in her throat, and a bird fluttering in her chest. She opened her mouth slightly to speak, but she lost the ability to speak.
