Eve shook her head at first. "No I'm fine on your back, besides I could show you a few things back here." A snicker passed her lips as she spoke near to his ear with that sneer of hers. She lay very close to his back for a few moment, ignoring the fact that a random man had just been killed. "Oh so many things, you're still so young and untouched. " Still Smiling she slowly slid off his back, claws coming out with ease from his chest armor, and turned to Temishima as he spoke.
She was never one to turn away free alcohol. She was the first to lead them in with those eye bedazzled by the sudden flush of shiny objects. Clear glasses of ale, Coins being exchanged for chips and vice verse. Those greedy Green eyes of hers lit up as she disappeared into the maze of round tables willed with gambling men, and even a woman here and there.
She had lost them forgetting for a moment hat she owed Temishima money, and going to exchange a great amount of gold coins which she had been given by her fellow gypsy early for her earnings of the month. She had quickly found a table of seven men playing dice and seated herself there, she really didn't care where the others were.

Matias's ear twitched as Evelyn spoke into it, she really scared the crap out of him. He was relieved when she got off of his back, now he could actually have some sort of freedom....wait...no he couldn't. Since she was his master, he had to follow her around all night and act as a body guard. He muttered every curse in the known english language under his breath at the thought of this. He reluctantly followed the kitsune throught the busteling tavern, but stayed and leaned against a wall when he saw that she was sitting down to gamble. He was going to have to watch her closely now, people do stupid things when they lose money. Temishima smirked as the kitsune sat down to gamble, his plan worked. So you DO have my money, ya damn little stoner! He jumped up into the rafters of the of the tavern, sitting, waiting, and watching to see just how much money this gambling addicted kitsune had on her. |

Evelyn smiled opening the case and revealing over four-hundred thousand gold coins worth of chips, around double what she owed The other kitsune. "Be a dear, Matias, and get me a Sake okay. Maybe one...or two...oh hell get me three and one for yourself." Smiling she threw a single golden coin at him. "Try the rice wine, its pretty good."
Hands pulled off that tall top hat as the man entered the building. He felt so little without his large hat adding on weight. No one liked being short, especially not male vampires. Male vampires had a lot of ego packed into their features, a lot of pride along with those smooth and dark features.
Short mouse brown locks curled around pale features and slightly covering ebony eyes that searched. So many different creatures, not many humans. Vampire, Vampire, Werewolf, Demon, Demoness, Vampire, Shape Shifter, Elf, Kitsunes? What the hell were those rare creatures doing walking around, and why did he recognize one of them.
Evelyn, the bloody bitch was gambling again. He wouldn't bug her right now, until he wanted a drink.
Looking around he found more creatures, none of which were human and would taste to fill his craving. Until he spotted the female. There we go. He just needed to stalk her out, beat the shit out of her, suck her dry, and leave her dead in an alley way. Easy enough.

Temishima saw the chips worth thousands that Evelyn had brought out and his blue eyes widened. That damn whore, she has MORE than enough to pay me back. I'm gonna kill that bitch! Temishima was starting to get angry, and like Matias, nothing good happaned when Temishima was mad. He managed to quell the anger that was welling up inside of him, he wouldn't be able to keep his cool for long, though. He stayed up in the rafters of the tavern, not moving from the spot. Matias sighed as she ordered him around, he reluctantly did as he was told and went up to the bar and ordered all of the drinks for Evelyn, none for him, he didn't feel like getting drunk. When the man at the bar asked for payment Matias grabbed him by the front of his shirt and threw him about 10 feet behind the bar. He then just took the drinks back to the soon to be drunk kitsune and plopped em down in front of her without saying a word.
Brown eyes darted towards the entrance of the tavern as he saw the pint sized vampire walk in, he wanted to laugh again, but managed to surpress it. He saw her look over at Evelyn, Matias didn't like the looks of this guy, he was now wary of the vampire and would watch his every move. |

The first game Evelyn had made out fairly well winning half of the forty gold coins she'd bet, the second game she'd lost thirty coins, and the third game she won hundred back. With a smile she slid them forward. She would have been able to feel the presence of the other Kitsune if she hadn't let out a groan at the sight of Kragen over in the corner. Oh damn he was here, meaning that Isabella had run away once again. That wasn't anything new, she just didn't like Kragen that much. He owed her more money then she owed Temishima for the nights he'd spent with him.
"Matias," She muttered as she sipped at the sake. "I think I'll be heading back into the card tables in the back, the private ones." Drinking down the glass of sake once more she picked up the next one and moved the bow of chips so she could hold it. "Come," She began moving catching site of Temishima. What was he doing up there? Oh well."Come on Matias," She repeated once more looking away and beginning to walk once more.[/color][/size] |

Matias let off a low, barely audible growl as she told him to follow. He was still watching the small vampire that had entered the tavern, brown eyes watching him with distrust and suspicion. Something white up in the rafters tore his gaze away from the vampire, it was only Temishima. Matias looked back to watch the vampire, still following Evelyn to the card rooms. He advanced ahead of Evelyn and leaned against part of the wall next to the card rooms, still watching the vampire's every move. |

[Ummm... How about we have a posting order so we can all get a chance to post? I get on as much as I can, but I'm bowled over with school... >.<]
Destiny once more leaned forward, running and leaping agiley across the rooftops until she was above the entrance to the tavern. Without slowing, she skidded to the corner, her hand catching the ledge as she swung herself onto the lower roof of the tavern and on to the ground once more.
She entered with Eve, settling in a seat to watch her play. She leaned the chair back on two legs, closing her eyes after a while and laying her head in her hands. Her brow furrowed when Eve groaned, and she looked up. Oh, shit.
She followed Eve closely, she wasn't about to stray away...

Evelyn smiled drinking down all of her sake just as she joined a game of poker. "Matias," She hissed offering his up the empty mug. "Get me more." Pulling out another gold coin she handed it to him. "While your at it find out where that weasel Shima is."

Kragen sighed stalking into the card room and sitting at a table near Evelyn, the human, and the werewolf. She was busy bossing the werewolf around while he kept his dark eyes on the human. She seemed fairly muscular, and most likely taller then him. These eyes were surprised with Evelyn reared her angry head to speak to him.
"Well, Well, Well." She'd been drinking judging by the slur of her words. "If it isn't the midget vampire, Kragen how are you doing?" With a sigh he didn't bother to acknowledge her even when she cursed his name. "Kragen you ass hole, when someone speaks to you you speak back." If he didn't respond everyone would just think that the drunk kitsune was being just that, drunk and most likely high.[/size][/center] |

Destiny's eyes slitted as she glared at the vampire. This wasn't going to turn out well. She sat directly opposite him, still not joining in the game. All she did was glare at him, sizing him up, her hand behind her back and clutching her stave, ready to whip it out at the first hint of an attack.
She watched him for a few rounds of the game, then stood, walking slowly around the side of the table, telling Eve that she was going to go get a drink herself. She pulled out a small coin purse from her pouch, quickly snaking her fingers into it. When they left the leather bag, they clutched two coins in between her fingers. She bought two drinks, and once more slipped her hand into her pouch. This time she held a tiny pouch, which was filled with a powdery form of poison. She quickly poured it into the drink, and carried it back to the table along with hers. She didn't know if poisons worked on vampires, but it was worth a try...
She walked over, quickly and silently placing the drink in front of him, and taking her own to her seat, quickly drinking it. It took much more than that to get her drunk, but she wasn't about to go back for seconds with this vampire around...
She finally joined the came, pulling out her own bag of coins...

Matias didn't even have to move to fulfill his order, he could see Temishima from where he was standing, and he grabbed a jug of sake from some random person who happened to walke by. The human that he took it from turned around with a glint of rage in his eyes, but it soon vanished as he saw the large werewolf. "And just what are you lookin at, human?" He said growling at the man, white fangs bared. The frightened human went white and ran out of the tavern. Matias laughed at the sight of it. His eyes darted around the tavern for a sight of Temishima, he was still up in the rafters, boy was he persistant. "He's up in the rafters watchin you gamble his money away, he looks pissed." He said this as if they were merely talking about the weather. |

A smile passed over Evelyn's lips as Matias spoke. Whoops. She was suppose to be using the money she'd gotten from her adoptive other to do whatever the hell she wanted. This is what she wanted to do, she didn't want to pay Temishima off. To pay him off would be a waste of her money, assuming that she would ever do anything as foolish.
Kragen could ignore her all he wanted, she would talk to him later. She had gallons of Sake to drink and millions of gold coins to waste away. Hopefully she'd ditch Matias at some point and find someone she could spend her lonely night with. It never hurt to sleep around when you were immortal, after all you weren't married to someone for to long if they died before you.

Kragen smiled as the female human thought she could sneak something past him. He could sell the laced liquor a mile away. Idiot thought poison would work on someone who was already dead. The girl reminded him of his sister. Isabella would sit there stabbing herself to watch it bleed, then sat there watching it patch itself back together. They were both two strange little ducks. The largest grin held tight to his face as he chugged down the drink, poison and all.
He could feel his stomach burn and his throat tear. That was strong stuff, therefore it hurt like hell. He'd felt this pain many times before, so it wasn't a new event. "Thanks for the drink, Love."[/center][/color][/size] |

Destiny smiled charmingly at the vampire. She tossed her cards to the dealer and stood slowly, moving over to him and placing herself behind him.
"I know you know I poisoned your drink, and I know it burns. But you probably do not care." She paused a moment, breathing into his ear, and said, "Tell me... Do I smell good?"
She chuckled and moved away, taking back her place and once more joining the game, a smirk placed upon her lips.

Matias was watching the group out of the corner of his eyes, still wary of the pint sized vampire that had sat near Evelyn. He hated being on guard duty, just standing around watching a drunk, stoned, gambling addicted kitsune was getting really boring, no matter how funny it sounded. He was having a little fun growling and baring his fangs at random passing humans and watching them run out of the tavern, it always brought a small smile to his face when they tripped over their own feet on the way out. After scaring the crap out of humans became boring he turned his attention to the odd group around the card table and caught a small glimpse of Destiny putting some kind of powder in a drink. He thought she was going to give it to Evelyn and was on the verge of jumping on the girl and ripping her face off, but saw that she gave the drink to the short vampire. Damn, he was hoping for a little taste of human flesh tonight, it was the perfect meal to him. |
