[sorry this took me so dang long. surprise vacation, and i didn't even get to post an absence. ;__;]

The wind picked up, hurling small chunks of ice through the air. It was still snwoing, but with more force than before, and Hyouzan could sense now that something magical was helping it along. His hackles rose, an automatic reaction to the sense of danger, eyes glittering like sapphire pebbles. He was silent for a moment, thinking, breathing slowly to calm his nerves. Something was wrong, and though there would have been a blizzard anyway, something, someone was helping it along. Had the grizzly been part of the plot also? Or a mere lucky break for whoever was aggravating the weather? Hyouzan stepped forward suddenly, staring into the pass. There is a cave at the end of this gully, and it is large enough to hold all of us, and then some. But it insulates well. The entrance is quite small, but inside it's roomy. He did not add that it had been his former home when he'd lived in Shinkou before his departure. Nelo... will you watch the rear? I'll take the lead, with Zoicite and Kai between us? He waited for Nelo's affirmation, wanting to make sure things were clear. A single mistake in organization could lead to worse thing than a magically-enhanced blizzard. His head turned to gaze once at Zoicite, expression clouding. She hadn't exactly acknowledged his existence, and it worried him a little. But then again... how could he expect her to still love him after all this time?

Caramel eyes glanced at him briefly, then at the other two. Hey, she was game. 'Whereever we go, lets just make it quick. Its cold and Ive got a massive headache.' She whined slightly slowing to a small walk then a full stop. The snow was beginning to sting her eyes and cutting through her fur into her skin. 'Lead the way Hyouzan.' She commented trying to rush things a bit. (Sorry brain fart..)

Nelo nodded slowly at Hyouzan's suggestion. Yes, he would take the rear. He shot a glance to the recently revived female when she responded, noting her quickness of diction. He looked back at Kai, and nodded to her, then waited for everyone to begin their treck. He put his muzzle to the wind, and took a deep breath. He could smell nothing in their immediate viscinity, but, judging from his former experiences, things could change rather rapidly.

Kai nodded impatiently and fell into step behind Hyouzan and Zoicite, eager to commence their trek. The icy wind was becoming immensely uncomfortable, and staying in the same place was making her uneasy.
She bowed her head against the wind, struggling to stay alert. But the storm was making it difficult, and the fact that her senses were impaired made her want to hurry to shelter as soon as possible, and wait for the storm to blow over.
