Shinigami looked sad mismatched eyes to the female beside him. "You know some would consider you more then a loner but instead one that does not know where he or she comes from is truly lost. Though you seem to know exactly who you are and where you are going. You seem so secure." He stopped as if needing to think for a moment. As he blinked, moving oxygen to his brain, or so he hoped he pulled his bottom lip over the top.

"Is it to the fact that you know what you are that who you are does not matter?"

Duemos stopped and looked at Shinigami with her exposed eye. "I may not know parts of my life, but I do know what, and who I am." She paused for a few seconds to think, "I am content with what and who I am because of those who I consider friends. Those who look at me see a pathetic half-breed, for what I am...but my friends see past that and look at who I am."

A light hearted chuckle passed Shinigami's lips as he shifted his weight stopping to look up to the perfect sky. As he did so his coat was ruffled by the breeze that seemed to bring a perfect temperature to settle upon the beautiful field of flowers. "That is exactly what I would have expected from someone so confident in everything they do. You would expect it from very few though." He nodded his head gracefully and moved his paws so he could lay down contrasting against the flower with his Blue-Green Wings folded against his back. He looked quiet odd. Large with his dark coloring laying amongst the flowers.

"You seem like you have your head where it belongs and not in the clouds where ones like myself stay."

Duemos turned to look at the chuckeling demon. "And just what is so funny?" She asked half sarcastically. She saw that Shinigami was lying down in the flowers, she let out a small sigh and did the same. "This place is so peacful, quiet, relaxing." She wasn't lying either, the rays from the sun had been warming her black fur. She began to feel slightly drowsy, her eyelids began to feel heavier and heavier with every passing minute.

"Life in general is funny." He nodded his massive head as his wings swayed on his back. He began to speak once more though this time his voice seemed deeper and his normal riddles were absent from his speech. "Peace is only temporary before war sounds, Something comes this way. A Storm in the mass of life that shall disrupt everything good and neutral and corrupt it with the heart beats of war. Each and every beat sending new waves from chaos into a land of peace. Something Wicked fly on the wind and comes into our direction."

His eyes seemed like fogged glass blocking his sight and giving him another form of vision. Though when the haze cleared over in his eyes they were replaced once more with their blinding Yellow and Red coloring. Mismatched eyes looked to Duemos with a lazy sigh. "Sorry about that," He shook his fur out reaching forward so his paws could touch the flowers before him gingerly. "I guess I let it get the best of me once again."

Allowing his eyes to look to the she-wolf near him each mismatched eye showed clear care. "Did I...er...did it scare you?"

Duemos let out a small laugh, "You are a strange one, Shi. You spoke of exile, death, and loss. Yet you say that life is a funny thing." Duemos saw the hazy look in Shinigami's eyes, and her own filled with a sense of fear when she heard his words. "Shi.....wha-what are you saying!?" She nudged him with her muzzle to try and bring him out of it, but to no avail. She got to her feet and slowly backed away from him.

When Shinigami's eye and voice returned to his own, she was comforted slightly, but still a little cautious. "Who the hell was that talking just now?.....It wasn't you, Shi.....who was it?"

Shinigami looked up to her as she backed away. His eyes seemed caught in a time before, his eyes caught in a time before times. "My father, or at least that is what I am told. He was a demonic seer of chaos and destruction that always seemed true. He died on the moons of my birth, it is said his soul sought out a body and found mine, the only surviving pup from my liter. That is just what they say though."

Shifting his legs around so they curled up against him his movements were rough and uncomfortable. "What did it say? What did Iblis tell you?" He got up now legs shaky and unsteady under his great weight. It looked as if he'd fall but he didn't. He stood up proud and strong as ever.

Duemos was still shaken by what Shinigami has said, "I....I only caught the last part...'Something Wicked fly on the wind and comes into our direction.'. She began to become lost in though at what Shini-er Iblis had said. "What does it mean....what is coming this way, Shi?"

Shinigami streched moving his large body a few steps. "If I were to guess I would have to say a wind spirit or a wind demon. Something including the breeze that blows us every which way now. Can you not feel something as vile as a human's weapon on the horizon. I do not know what but it has a foul stench of blood."

He sighed lowering his head a bit. "I don't like it. Not one bit. Something wicked to taint all these beautiful flowers and beings, it seems so wrong and hideous."

"If something is coming this way, then what should we do?" She asked the demon, sighing slightly as she did. "Do you just want to leave?"

Long eyelashes blinked over his mismatched eyes as he shifted his feet making it able for him to sit down the partially wet flowers covering his bottom in dew. "Would we be cowards to run, or would we be surviving?" A long sigh passed his lips. "That is a question I cannot answer. I shall not run but you could if you wanted to." He shook his massive head raising a paw up.

"I vowed never to run from what one fears. I vowed never to stop my beliefs in order to run away with my tail between my legs. Never again."

Duemos had been thinking about what to do, leave her new found friend to survive? Or stay by his side. After a few minutes of thought she let out a sigh and began to slowly walk away from Shinigami, her ears down flat on her head. "I'm sorry, Shi......but....I cannot stay here with you," She paused for a few seconds, at a loss for words, "I'm so sorry." She said reluctantly. She felt as if a sword had just been thrust into her heart, she had never abandoned a friend before in a time of need. Why she chose now to do so, she didn't know. She walked away from him for a good 200 feet before stopping and looking over her shoulder, her crystal blue eye was filled with sadness. "What the hell is wrong with me," She said to her self, "I can't just leave him there." She though once again, a mental battle within herself took place. Go back or just run?

"They are here." The large brute shifted his weight uncomfortably as he stood, wings outstretched as if trying to make himself bigger. They were here, the ones who had killed off his last pack as soon as he took off the alpha. The twins that ran together in blood and murder. Saleen and Rei, Damn their souls. He had to ignore the Duemos for now. He had bigger things to worry about.



Twin pillars fought in the raging war of the run. Both a untouched light ivory that made the snow that covered the barren land look dull, not that there was any snow here. There was a sound, a deep horn like sound coming from a large game mass known to all as an Deer. The Buck raised its head alerting the others, but it was all but to late. A pair of Jaws tore into the bulk of the Buck at extreme speeds. Once the windpipe of the game had been ripped to shreds the wolf raised its Ivory Maw. "Come Brother." The voice was clearly that of a Fae's and wasn't very quiet, yet quiet enough to not be heard from great distances. After all she didn't want to be found before she'd had a chance to finish her task.

Of course they didn't need that to get them noticed, even if they talked in the littlest voices they would be noticed, and most likely along with that an attempt to kill both siblings. The Fae glared out of Emerald eyes that seemed to penetrate you and to look not at you but through you, to your thoughts. She shook out her stark white fur moving her medium stature around slightly as she waited for the other of the duo to return.



The other was a slate colored Brute with the most interesting eye color. They where Hazel, but different, one color, but not. They held a backdrop of A dark Green like the Fae's but his had star burst of not only Brown, like traditional Hazel, But also Blue and Red then fished off with a ring of Silver around the Iris. In this burst of color his pupil seemed so small, like it never seemed to dilate at any point in time.

He shook his head back and forth sighing at her actions. "You always had more of a Blood Lust then I did." He hesitated slightly but all the while dug his head viciously into the dead carcass. It mattered not to him what or who it was, It was food.. Moving his flanks back and forth as he ate his fur grew oddly over a cross shape in his right outer flank, An odd looking scar indeed that could be seen slightly at the right angle.

Loners. Rouges. That is all they had ever been and what they will always be. The female named for the malevolent goddess of The Moon, Saleen. And the Brute for the beings not willing to leave earth, better known as Ghost, Rei was his name.

Each Shunned and left to die at a young age. The Brother and Sister were born in Late spring and are around 4 winters long, yet their intelligence out ranked their age. This was their life. They'd take from this land careless of who's in may be. That had always been their lives. They had been given names caused by their mutiny to their kind. The Siren of the Moon, and The Ghost of the Winds. This was the duo.

The duo that ate whatever creature got in their path, be it a Rabbit, Human, or even another of the canine species. No Loyalty, No Remorse, No Regret. Cannibals. That ate things with no mercy, it was only food. Food shouldn't be killed, it should be eaten alive. At least that is what the siblings had done to fourteen Pack Alpha's now. Yet of course as they committed such an act the other wolven were powerless, watching their leaders being eaten alive.

Rei brought his head up letting out a loud yawn. "Saleen, I think I'll go to--"

A grin spread across the Male's lips as he raised his muzzle to the sky. Allowing a deep and howl song to cry to the heavens the male seemed quite content with himself and his howl. "How about that?" He mocked. Kicking around the flowers on the ground.

He didn't like flowers that much, he stuck out like a sore thumb on the miles of pure rainbowed bliss. Though he didn't have a say on where they went as his sister did. So instead of being by the sea like he would have wanted they were up here. Shit.



Ears shot up. They were that close already? That was Rei's lazy voice no mistaken for it. Without warning large legs shot up pushing him from the ground and running. It didn't take long, maybe a moment or two away from Duemos to find them. They'd killed a large deer, something that surprised him. He would have thought they only ate wolves.
