The dark night sky shimmered with stars: though they seemed alight with the fire that shone inside her, or a spirit trapped in each one, leading her to go further. She looked mournfully into her paws. She had no-one... no-one at all. She had seen her friends long ago, so long she couldn't remember. She scoured through her memory, sub-consciously chewing at the tip of her tail, the only part that could spill red blood. The small trickle of black-red liquid woke her from this daydream, suddenly soothing her. When the bleeding stopped. She placed her pad in the puddle, but her body heat had dried it... "Damn!" she scowled under her breath. even so quiet, the sound echoed across the land, so silent.

A howl pierced the air, one meaningful note of loneliness. She WAS a wanderer, just waiting for an answer to her questions, "Where am I? Where is home?"
No-one knew where her home lay, he needed to find an allegiance of wolves to join with: a pack to be part of. How? Where?

Toes padded on the forest floor, a camoflauged tail following behind. Soon, those feet pressed against the bark of a rough tree, sitting on the branch. I flipped onto my back, and sighed. "Ne, Veirox-san?" I waited a bit, and then my eyes narrowed in frustration. "Ne~ VEIROX-SAN!" Still no response. "VEIROX-SA-" I stopped midway, and strained my furry ears to listen to the echo. Damn, that wolf must really hate other people... I grinned so very evilly... "Ne... Veirox-san... Onsei onkyou no Kohai Mori..." Veirox finally looked up at me, his eyes narrowed from the earth.
Man, Mido sure was annoyed. Now she's getting me frustrated... "Voice echo of Kohai Forest? Really." She grunted and pouted, then looked away in frustration. "Yes, I did hear it." I started to growl under my breath. Then a howl came over. I ran over to the source. Midori's gotta catch me now!
"E-Eh, chotto!" Gah, he thinks I'm a girl, then treat me like one! I stood up on the tree and landed on the next tree on all fours. I continued that, sometimes with somersaults. I leapt off the trees to sprint on the ground behind Veirox. "TEIRYUU, VEIR-R-O?!" I felt something hard hit me...
"STOP, VEIR-R-O?!" I did stop as she told me, only to find her land on my back and accidently slap me. But I couldn't feel the pain. She followed my gaze, and her eyes widened. Another wolf. I began to whisper to Mido: "Another male." "Mr. Veiro? That's a girl..."
