Cold wind howled through the tall, dark trees of these cursed lands, recently deemed Orsa Tribus. Ominous shadows billowed forth from the brush of that looming forest, the creatures that resided there calling out in their screeches and calls that would send chills down anyone's spine, or cause them to duck down and cover their poor head, trying to rid it of the ringing in their ears. The ground knew only shadow and darkness, for sunlight never reached these lands in this dark corner of the world. Neh, this world was ruled only by the deep violet moon that reigned the dark skies above. It caused the silver grasses to glow and shimmer in the same cold wind that haunted the air above. Everything about these cold, dark lands was cursed, shadowed, showing no signs of light at all. Even from the formations of the huge boulders with multi-colored hues and the odd ways they twisted and bent to the tall mountains and their jagged canyons in the distance and the dark creatures that resided there as well.
There was no snow in these lands, it was eternally dark, eternally cold, yet no snow or ice covered these strange grounds. Only the endless cold wind that caused the silver grasses to be ever changing and the violet moon ever glowing. Yet it was hardly dull or too much for the different beings residing here. Neh, it was perfect for them in every way. They lived here and enjoyed it. It was almost as if it were a peaceful place for their shaded hearts, besides the calls of the dark creatures that shattered through the cold air now and then. Yet even then, this world was hardly for the faint of heart or the weak. Only the truly evil could survive here, and thus to come here one must first pass through the three wolves who had discovered this land. Yet there was one being here who had not yet even met those three. In fact, he didn't even know if they knew he were here or not.
Massive black paws stepped along through the silver grass, surprisingly soft for the appearance of this large creature. The tips of long, deadly claws shimmered, being contracted. Long, sturdy limbs carried him along, muscles rippling through both shoulders and thighs, his round body swaying slightly with his movement. Large head was carried rather high, proudly, long thick maw lifting slightly to sniff at the cold wind. Large ears twitched, listening. This beast knew he was not alone in these lands - for he had followed someone else here in the first place. But he was hardly interested in encountering them - yet he knew he was bound to sooner or later, so he wasn't going to try and avoid anyone. The cold wind rippled through his thick black fur, he ignoring it. Long, thin tail swished about lazily, now and then revealing the scaly underside to it that followed a path along his underbelly to his chest, and also starting down his legs, though fading into the fur there.
Head turned faintly, lime green, deep purple slitted eyes looking off into the distance at the craggy canyons. "Damn creatures," he muttered under his breath to himself, thinking of the hair-raising screeches they uttered unendingly into the dark sky. He turned his gaze upward toward the violet moon, and began to flex his enormous demonic wings. They were grotesque, sharp bones rising from his upper back and curving around sharply. Paper-thin skin appeared stretched between each hard bone, claws gleaming from each tip. Even further, shreds of skin dangled and blew about lifelessly, though seemed endlessly attached. How he wanted to leap into the air and soar through those cold, dark skies above. His wings needed an exercise anyway. And thus, he did.
He leaned back, springing forward into a short sprint before bursting into the air, his wings flapping to create more wind in addition to what blew about already, taking him higher into the air. As he flew, one watching might notice the large, metal viper's head, mouth opened and fangs showing sharply that rested on his bushy chest. It dangled on heavy silver chains, buried by his fur around his long, yet muscled and bushy neck. 'Twas no marking, as some might think, neh it contained the control over the three elements of which he could control. As he flew along, having not much purpose but simply to fly, eyes graced the ground below him. Long, pick tongue licked his black lips. If there was one thing... right now, he wished he could find something to rip his claws through. That was something he hadn't done in a while...

The spacious air created cruel and bitter winds from the north. Endymion's slit eyes were upon the north as the wind hit his face. Though he usually showed a great amount of impassiveness, his trademark countenance; he wore a lost, vacant expression. It was never like him to show any of his real feelings, for his belief was that feelings like those of hatred, love, and sadness were feelings of great weakness. He had a callous heart, much like a machine that dictates his thoughts.
At this hour of the day, though to normal people it would appear night, the scaly and furry white form of Endymion was flying. The lavender moon was upon his wings, giving off an eerie glow on his scales that reflected such a light. But in no time at all, his attention that was cast off into the north was instantly settled upon a dark finger moving among blackness in the air. Figuring at first that it was one of the many miniature bird-like dragons making a midday fly, he soon found out that he was very wrong. It was a wolf.
Giving off a hoarse grunt, he changed direction at top speed and made a different course into the direction of the trespasser, his callous demeanor once more returning as fast as his acceleration took place.

Pelt rippled slightly in the wind this large, black creature created as he soared rather mindlessly. He himself was a bit lost in his own thoughts, and thus it took him a bit longer than it usually would have to realize he wasn't alone tonight in these skies. He continued to fly, a faint smirk on his face. Of course... who could expect to really be alone anywhere? Wasn't there always someone there or someone approaching that just had to be there just then when you wanted to be alone? So, it was nothing new, he simply didn't worry about it, and didn't really care. He pretended not to take all too much notice to the figure approaching, not taking the time to try and figure out who it was. He simply continued to soar about, taking his time and whatnot.
Yet, as the other did indeed draw nearer, so that he was in moreso hearing range as not to shout as that was unnecessary... look where they were, a desolate land with only hair-raising, annoying creatures and strange foliage. "Dark night, eh? And weird, dark things to go with it. Just draws anyone with the heart for it. I presume you are one of the beings I followed here in the first place?" Tongue licked his lips slightly, purple-slitted eyes glancing toward Endymion, wondering how the other would respond. Yet, as he did so, he turned his figure slightly, and it was a bit odd the way that even though it was only slight, he and this other wolf were similar in a way. He didn't think all too much about it, but even so...
Ears twitched, catching the frequent screeches in the near distance of those accursed creatures. He wondered how they had gotten there in the first place, or if they were just another part of the land when it had first been created. He supposed he might never know or find out, so not too much point in wondering for too long. "Where are the others?" he asked, a bit curious, yet not really wanting to confront all of them at once and end up being attacked and kicked out. He liked it here... it was perfect in every way imaginable, and yet who knew if he'd be allowed to stay or not. Either way, he wouldn't be all too easy to be rid of. Thus, he simply waited Endymion's response.

Endymion steadied his enourmous wings so that he flew side by side to the dark one. "You get used to it," he said boredly, finding that the creature was just a worthless piece of wolf-flesh like himself and everyone else. He sensed no fight in the wolf, either. Even if this dark wolf meant to be hostile, he would have been seemingly easy to take down.
In response to the wolf's question about 'the others', Endymion's ears tilted forward at his impertinence, but he didn't pay any mind to look at the black beast that claimed himself one of evil. A worthless thing to be. Evil. The same as being good. To Endymion, there was no such thing as good and evil. Only lies, and weaknesses. He considered himself above such sordid things. He believed that this made him powerful. "What's it to you? You do not know them, nor do you belong here, so I won't answer you." A beat. "Followed, hm? Well, that's commendable." A hint of sarcasm. "I presume you want to be a part of this clan since you tell me you followed us here? Can't stop you there. That's up to you. You better learn quickly that we are different from the rest. We aren't just any pack. We're rebels. We don't like outsiders unless they have the same values as ours. We govern ourselves instead of an individual governing over the rest."

Lime green, purple-slitted eyes watched Endymion as he flew through the air, black ears twitching as he listened to the words the other spoke. He half ignored the statement of getting used to it. He hadn't really meant it in a way of complaining, nor in a way of annoyance. It didn't matter. He gave a faint shrug to it instead, muttering only "Indeed," under his breath. He didn't bother to wonder what the other was thinking, whether it concerned him or not. Either way, no matter what this creature thought, he was fixed on staying here, no matter what it took.
'What's it to you? You don't know them...' "Nothing, simply curious." was his short response. He knew he'd meet them eventually, and wondered what each meeting would be like. Whether it'd be similar to this one or not. That, he supposed, was up to fate and time. Nothing he should worry himself about, he was sure. He listened as the other spoke of being part of the clan and all the words of learning quickly that they were different. From what he said, it did indeed sound different than his previous experiences. But then again, he'd so far always been for himself anyway. So in a way it was nothing new. "Every creature for himself..." he muttered to himself, as if in thought.
"Well, as a matter of fact, I do intend on joining this little clan here. And I'm intent on staying in these lands." He saw little need to challenge this other, he seemed more of the calm type. The type that knew how to get under someone else's skin without physically doing anything. The type that remained calm when others were trying to make him mad and could just make his opponent boil with rage at how calm he could be. It wasn't that Môlaryen was stereotype or assumptive, it was just based off of a few recent observations. So, narrowing his eyes or baring his fangs as if daring the other to question his intents would be entirely pointless. And anyway, he guessed the other probably wasn't easily intimidated either.
"Don't worry about something like that. I learn things quickly enough. Just as long as there isn't anything ridiculous necessary to stay here..." he trailed off for a moment. He wondered if this were the type of place where one could stay as long as they didn't prove that they weren't worthy of being here. He supposed he'd find out within due time. Môlaryen usually liked to go about intimidating and scaring others, or just doing little things to get on others nerves, but that was probably not going to be happening anytime soon with this fellow. And anyway, to get on his nerves, he'd have to first know him better and be sure that he knew when to stop... that is if it was even possible to get on this other's nerves. "So, I wonder if it would be necessary for introductions?" he questioned casually. If he were to stay here, and join this clan, he figured he needed to if nothing else know the names of the others he'd be staying with.

Endymion lofted a brow. This wolf was an apparent butt-kisser. Môlaryen seemed to try to get on his good side, because he was sure acting tactful.
"Quant," Endymion replied imprecisely, his face being rather difficult to read. "Funny thing, curiousity. It is amazing how bad it can make wolves so desperately nosy. Why would we perform unecessary measures to let you be a part of this... family? Do you want me to?" he replied calmly, though there was a hint of danger in his voice.
"Endymion. Don't forget it."

Môlaryen merely shrugged at the question of if he wanted him to give him anything ridiculous. "Don't care," was his simple reply. He was wondering a bit what the heck the other was talking about with the curiosity can make one excessively nosy business... but he didn't question. He was talking about Môlaryen's interest perhaps in this clan... with the questions he'd asked. He didn't know for sure, "Well, if curiosity bothers you, get used to it. Most creatures that come here will most likely be curious, which will lead to nosing around, as you seem to make it. And don't even tell me that you and your companions weren't slightly curious on first site of these lands." He flicked his whip-like tail, silvery scales on the underside catching the violet moonlight.
'Endymion...' he thought to himself, storing the name in memory. He wouldn't need to ask again, and it was apparent the other didn't want him to either. "I see, Endymion... well while we're on that subject, I am Môlaryen." He made no means of telling the other not to forget it, as he was sure the other wouldn't. Still, he wondered how the other would react to his previous words about curiosity.

"You misunderstand me," he replied, feeling his patience rise to the surface, but he was good at keeping such patience at bay. His voice and expression did not change. "First off, you say that you do not care. If such tests were granted forth upon you, lets say... if I wanted to test you before you join us, I would perhaps attack you just to see how strong you really are, or perhaps mess with your mind to see how full of wit you might have; delving deep into that brain of yours and find any ounce of intelligence which I no doubt you do have at least two brain cells to rub together.
"Second off, curiousity should not be taken so lightly. You do not know us. We could very well do things to your miserable self if we didn't like you. There you have it. But since my fellows are not around, and I am just here, I feel no need to do any of the sort, because, I honestly don't care. They can do with you as they please once they meet you, but I see no reason to do anything myself. And how audacious to tell me what to do in my own territory. I better be shown better respect from a rogue like you. I am not just any multi-cellular organism on this pathetic world to be talked back at. And I am sure you did not follow us this far to be getting into trouble with Orsa Tribus. It is easy to do."

Môlaryen smirked slightly, "And I could understand if such tests were given. I can prove myself any day." What an interesting little meeting this was turning into, he thought to himself, watching the other more intently than before. Before he'd been more casual, now he was a bit more alert. At the mention of such testing, he wondered if this Endymion wouldn't just come out and test him now that he'd been sort of challenged to in a way. He knew he'd be ready for it, it was just the matter of one who was caught off guard and one who wasn't. It always made a difference.
So... the other didn't care. Just as Môlaryen had figured... still one can never be too careful, but actually that statement wasn't true. Sometimes some were overly careful and overlooked things they shouldn't, or became paranoid about things and matters that were entirely stupid. Still this other was not only demanding respect but calling these lands his. "Hmm, and I thought you just got done explaining how I better learn quickly that this clan is different, that there isn't any one leader. Who said these lands were specifically yours? Anyway, I wasn't telling anyone what to do. But trouble, that's just written all over these lands. Everyone contributes in their own little way, some just more than others."
His eyes glinted slightly, the smirk on his face still evident. He knew better than to underestimate Endymion, but in his own mind his thoughts were turning more and more to his favorite hobby: getting on others nerves. Perhaps he had thought to quickly with this Endymion. Perhaps he could still get some fun out of this. And besides that, he was convinced that Endymion here wouldn't be all too quick to kicking him out. He had seen enough of the little scene with that other wolf earlier... whatever they'd called him. Deathblood. Môlaryen didn't know his name, but he'd recognize the other if he saw him.

"You are quick to judge; I am not surprised. Ah, but Môlaryen, you have already been tested. For an individual that would not mind resorting to violence so quickly by accepting a challenge from a wolf that so desperately controverts, and I do mean myself; and has thus, failed the test. You see, we have laws regardless. One of our laws is that we must stick to prudency, thanks to Amnesia. The one you speak of, the law. That is a law I've made myself. Indeed we treat eachother equally without having an Alpha. Again, you are misled with what I say. While you are to believe that, I am a Founder, and I demand more respect than you can imagine without sniveling at my paws like I am an alpha. To which, I am not, so your assumptions over anything as that are completely impetuous. This is a land that we have found, and we are guaranteed that right by being respected, for we have the right also to toss anyone out we think cannot handle our reality. Peace, Môlaryen. Thanks to my slut of a sister, our law is ruled by peace also. If by any means necessary that I must resort to violence to do all in my power to weed you out, I will without hesitation; thanks again, to Amnesia's law. Prudency. It would be a prudent thing to weed out those that are not so prudent. And that, is what makes us different from the rest."
A long pause followed this monologue. "I do hope I make myself clear."

Black ears twitched, listening to the words that the other spoke, and yet he wondered as to why he should listen. The other seemed to drag on forever about whatever he was talking about... prudency, peace, already beind tested... he had failed the test? He mentally sighed, showing no emotion or sign of his thoughts at all on his face. So, this place wasn't run by any one Alpha... but it was seemingly that the three he'd followed had made themselves sort of governors of these lands. He supposed that was understandable, as they were the founders of the clan here anyway. But still, he had never really been the all respect and submissive type. However, he was quickly learning that he had better gain some sort of spirit of the sort if he wished to stay. Prudency. That word kept bouncing around his head like some annoying fly in your ear that just won't go away or die.
"Crystal," he said in response to the question Endymion had ended with. 'Yea crystals buried in stone,' he thought to himself. Still, the words that he had just heard swirled in his mind, not leaving no matter what he did, not that he was really doing anything anyway. Yet, he knew that the other was right in his words, however long it took to admit it. Well, so much for his little idea. Turned out the other didn't get bothered so easily. It was a good thing, to be able to avoid being on edge. Môlaryen nodded faintly, "I see, I will remember that." He had learned the name of one of the others... from what he had seen he guessed it was the one who was blind. That meant his sister was the last one, the sickly looking bitch who had gotten to ride the whole way there. So, prudence... peace... certainly Endymion had his own rule of addition? He didn't know, but it would be best to find out, or so he thought.
"Anything else... do you have an addition to the rules here?" he questioned slowly, his tone changed from challenging and arrogant to simply curious. His eyes held all that mischief and arrogance enough so that he didn't need to voice it. He supposed he'd have to watch himself, at least for a while, long enough to prove he could stay here. Holding his tongue was something very hard for him to do, yet he supposed he'd at least try to learn something of it for the better. This was certainly different, he'd say that much.

OOC: Endy keeps contradicting himself, I swear. XD "So be it, then," Endymion replied softly, allowing a brief glance to be given to his flying comrade. "You've endured my speech. Very good. You've passed, then. There is nothing more commendable than listening to a fellow, regardless of all that he says." There was then short pause as he swiveled his head in the general direction they were flying. "I've already told you my law. It is the very law we've kept going on about, haven't you been listening?" At this point, it was quite hard to discern whether Endymion was being rude or not. His voice was absolutely devoid of emotion and expression.

Môlaryen's own face was expressionless at Endymion's next words. So, he'd be allowed to stay here... at least for the time being. Worked for him, he thought. As Endy asked him if he'd been listening he gave a faint nod, "Yea, I heard you..." yet he cut off what he was going to say. He had wanted to say that he hadn't meant it like that. He was asking if the other had any more words to add to his speech of sorts. Yet he bit his tongue faintly, reminding himself of what Endymion had said. Prudence. He really had to work on that, he thought bitterly. Flicking his tail back and forth boredly, he let out a small sigh of breath that he'd been holding as well, though he hadn't realized it.
"Well then, are to stay here suspended in air and simply chat the night away?" he questioned, moving around a bit as to keep himself afloat. The night air was so cool, so quiet... almost. He hadn't seen the full of these lands yet, and though he wondered if he'd ever know or not, he was curious as to what sort of things lay on the surface of that violet moon. He supposed he might never know, but at least it was something to wonder about to put his bored mind to use... somewhat. His attention still was upon Endymion, wondering now where their conversation would take its course.

"What an impertinent thing to ask," Endymion replied mildly, this time watching his comrade dispassionately. "I was waiting for you, Môlaryen."
However vague these words, Endymion did not give any explanation.
"This is boring though, I'll give you that. I say we do something to kill time. In the meanwhile, you'll get your chance to see everything we've got going on here."

Môlaryen sighed rather boredly, "I see. Me, eh? Me always having to use my poor brain to come up with something clever." He said it in a pitiful tone, yet simply shook his head to himself in slight amusement. Ears twitched as Endymion spoke again, agreeing that this was indeed boring. 'We agree on something,' he thought, listening to the other.
He nodded, a faint smile flickering on the corner of his lips before fading. "Well then, Endymion, do lead the way." To Môlaryen, silly games of tag and what not were pointless and annoying. They were things that he saw what he referred to as 'goody' wolves doing. Truthfully, he had never played before, he had simply assumed he wouldn't like it and further more didn't want himself to be thought of anything besides what he gave out. Thus such things did not even cross his mind. "Tell me, ever actually visited those canyons far over there?" he questioned, making a quick gesture of his head toward the canyons that were in the distance. "The creatures there seem like a bit of fun..."
