The end of the day had finally come. Estella yawned from tiredness. The pups had really given her a good run earlier. They were all over, exploring every nook and cranny of the field she had brought them to. It was fun to watch them, but she was glad that it was now the end of the day. After dropping them off she had wandered to her favorite place in the whole pack lands.
It was a raised hill side covered in grasses and tons of beautiful flowers. As she sat perched on the top of the hill she watched the sun as it set. The sky was basked in beautiful colors, and it was so quiet, that it was calming. She loved being able to get away just to enjoy the silence, her only friend was the setting sun in the sky. Soon to be replaced by the serene moon.

Graal steps through the field of flowers, limping slowly towards a group of crimson poppies, his chest searing with agony. A pup spots him and barks something unintelligible to his pain-clouded mind. "Ijeet sikla, vos es ah kenig?" he mutters, bareing his teeth at the pup, giving a warning growl to stay away. "I can't deal with them now. They'll climb all over me if I let them." he thinks, remembering the cubs he cared for, those many, many moons ago.
He reaches the poppies, lying down next to them on his left side, breathing shallow and body screaming for the pain to cease. He merely moans and curls up, closing his eyes.
(( Translation: "Stupid weakling, what was I thinking?" he is referring to his headlong charge at a bear to save his surrogate sister. This ended in his rib breaking rather painfully. ))

Estella's ears perk at the sound of someone near. They swivel a bit to either side and she sniffs the air. Something was not right. She turns from the now darkening sky and looks around, "Is someone there?" She calls out, she hears moaning and follows her ears.
"Oh... oh my.." She finds a male wolf curled on his side, "Your wounded." Padding over to the male wolf she nudges at his side. "Are.. are you alright?" She wished she knew some sort of healing magics like some of the wolves, but unlike all of them she was just a normal she wolf. Perhaps she could at least tend to his wounds.. if he was safe anyways. She felt her guard lower when she noticed he was wounded, but he could still be dangerous. It seemed he was just in a fight, he would be unable to attack her in that condition. He did smell oddly familiar as well.

(( No problem ^_^ ))
Graal's eyes snap open with an explosive yelp as Estella nudges his side. Seconds pass and he realises he was just asked a question and he takes a moment to reassemble his thoughts and recall her words. "Hurts..." he croaks. "Idiot, is that all you can say? Pathetic." his mind says, berating his own weakness. He gathers his thoughts and tries again, "Right side... Second rib down... Broken..." he finally says, greying muzzle straining against the agony pulsing from his chest. His nose flares and he groans again, "Wrong damn flower, too... Did she behave?" he mumbles, dilated eyes opening and closing at seemingly random intervals.

Estella took a step back as the wolf opened his eyes, "Sorry sorry." She muttered a soft appology, she was rather afraid he was dying so she had o be sure he was still awake. Waiting another moment gave her the information she needed however. "Broken rib? How in the world did you break something like that? Were you in a fight?" A stupid look crossed her face, of course he was in a fight. How else would he have gotten wounded? "Wait, wrong flower... she? Is this she alright as well?" SHe asked sounding concerned for a moment about a wolf she probably didn't evenknow, but if this male was wounded.. what state was she in? Shaking her head she looked back to the male wolf, "I...is there anthing I can do to ease the pain? I don't know any magics... but I might be able to find sme sort of flower to help?" She bit her lip, they were surrounded in every flower possible, but choosing which one, would be the task.

A smile spread across Graal's face, well, more like a fatalistic grin. "Ai, Drappa, Ah dis nort vin. Ash Drappa von fachet." (( Translation: "Yes, Female, I did not win. My Female won the fight." )) he murmurs, then shakes his head. "Concentrate!" his mind screams. "Yes, I was in a fight... Midnight killed the bear... She is fine... Playing I think, she doesn't know how it hurts..." he whispers, trying to put some strength into his voice. He lifts his head to regard the wolf he speaks to, but his amber eyes eyes blur in and out of focus, all he could see was a white blur standing over him. "Mother? No, it can't be, she's dead... Long gone... Nothing left..." A crushing depression sinks down over Graal's mind, tears filling his eyes as his body slumps to the floor, limp and weak. "What's the point?" he mutters, eyes closing to hide his shame, "I can't even protect my pack, never mind Midnight. I can't even protect myself. I may as well die here." A sigh emerges from his tired body, grey muzzle laying still, so close to the poppies, and yet so far from his goal. "I don't think there'd be a better place, apart from Man's fire, to burn with the rest of my pack..."
(( He was looking for opium poppies to stop the pain, and he arrived at the wrong poppies. ))

Estella frowns as the male wolf looked as if he was on his last strand of life. But there was no way a broken rib would put someone to the breaking point. "I'm glad to hear that she is alright, but you need to be strong. Even if you cannot win against.." Se paused and blinked at the male. "Wait.. a bear! Oh.. oh gosh.. no wonder your so beat up." She made a mental note to ask someone to teach her about healing plants. It was rediculous that she was standing ehere with a wounded male and as much as she wanted to help hime, she knew nothing about healing. Mentally kicking herslef she frowned, "Look I want to help, but I can't help out unless yo tell me which plant you need to stp the pain. And stop acting like it's the end of the world. You are not going to die. Be strong for your she wolf. She needs you." She whispered the end part and her eyes grew a bit misty. The thought of needing someone.. it must be nice to have someoen to depend on.
Estella was rather weak for a she wolf, she depended on her legs more than her fighting. Of course she shouldlearn how to fight, too many times to count she had been with the little ones when trouble found them. Be it a bees nest, an angry hog, or somerabid squirrel. She really needed a better strategy to fall back on.
"Look, hun you need to fight the pain, I can't have you falling asleep here. Tell me what you need and I will get it for you. It has to be here in this feild. Do not give up on your life. It's precious to even be here on the earth." She pleaded with the wolf but she also noticed that he was fading fast.

(( Sorry, I've been really tired lately >.< ))
Graal's eyes inch open, looking around blearily, "FOCUS!" his mind screams. He takes a deep breath, the pain in his chest was like hellfire crashing over him, yelling for attention. "I have to live... To protect... She needs me!"
Graal's eyes slam shut, focussing his pain into a single point, his broken rib, and pushes it aside, his eyes opening again, clear and focussed, without fear or pain.
Painless.
Although, he stays motionless, mindful of the damage a broken rib can cause to surrounding tissue, his mind accelerates, taking in information at speeds he normally avoided. "It's like opening my eyes... And then opening them again. His eyes swivel around, observing the different flowers and recalling their properties. "Nothing useful. Do you know what a paradise flower looks like? White petals, shaped akin to a ball of light, smells sweet?" he asks, voice emotionless and hard.

((It's alright, no worries ^.^))
Estella waited patiently, but she was still on edge, this wolf was badly hurt and if she couldn't help him hen he might die. She didn't want that even if she didn't know him that well. To have someone die even right in front of you, its just too hard to bear. Estella would rather everyone stay alive and well in this world. There was always a reason to fight death, looking it in the eyes and fighting back to save yourself. Not to make anyone you love sad.
Finally the wolf spoke and she perked her ears, his voice sounded differnt, but she ignored that matter and nodded slowly, "Yes, I know exactly the flower you speak of." She lifted her head and looked around, but nothing in the area matched that descirption. She had seen it a few times, but it was so long ago that she couldn't remember where she had seen it. She hoped that she would be able to find the flower somewhere nearby, the wolf didn't have much time to waste. "Right, hold on. I will find one for you."
Bounding off into the field of flowers she looked around, white flower... white flower.. A froupd to her left, but no good.. further back, still nothing. She raced faster than before pushing her legs and her eyes at the same time, under the boulder? Nope.. by the small stream.. nope.. Comeone Estella don't give up. She circled back arond and that was when the familiar scent found her nose, "That's it!" She cried as she followed her nose until she found the beautiful white flower. There were only two there, standing proudly side by side beneath a huge oak tree. Leaning over she bit off one by the stem and raced back to where the wolf lay.

Graal waited patiently for the she-wolf to return, lying still and motionless, pain hammering at his mental barriers, leaving him barely aware of his surroundings and the time.
He spots Estella running towards him, and he nods, another pang of pain. "Good, you picked it at the stem. Had you bitten the flower itself, you would likely be dead." he comments, knowing that what he had to do would probably weaken him considerably. "What does not kill me can only leave me a cripple." he thinks to himself, lowering the barriers around his mind, they were getting to cumbersome for his tired thoughts.
A wave of crimson washes over Graal, blinding fire within his chest causes his body to convulse, stretching out with a quiet crunch as the bone twists and turns.
And then as quickly as it had come, the pain faded. He looks up at the she-wolf above him, vision clear and almost a mind to match. He gives awkward smile, hesistant to say what he needed to say. "I feel much better now..." he croaks, barely audible.
