Kiya lumbered along the edge of the territory, she hung back slightly, not out of fear, but not out of respect either. Pure curiosity was the only thing running through her mind, though, none of this showed on her emotional mask of a face. She had been walking along when she had been smacked in the face by a wall of scent. It was obvious then, she was in pack territory. Finally, as her curiosity began to dwindle into dull numbness Kiya had come to appreciate, she let out a bellowing howl. It rolled over the land, alerting any and all to her presence, and anyone who dared to cross her path. She then bolted forwards, her muscles waving under her pelt as they effortlessly powered her through the thick brush and trees. Soon, she hoped, someone would come to stop her, it would be to boring any other way. So, with a sly smile, she skidded to a stop. She was well enough past the boundary that she hoped someone, anyone, would find her.

Graal pads along the soft ground, revelling in the smells of leafmould, elk and boar trails, and the occasional whiff of the Pack who's land he carefully treads. "Ich ken ich nort spas hen." He mutters to himself, eyes darting around as his parched mouth breaths in the cool air.
The sound of thundering paws travel to his keen ears and he gets a sniff of the newcomer, or at least, he presumed it to be that, a newcomer. His pace quickens, trying to intercept her as his heart pounds in his chest. "They'll kill her!" He growls to himself, thinking of the many times he had seen trespassers torn to pieces in his own land.

Kiyafinally heard the incoming wolves as they quickly rushed towards her. Suddenly, her sences exploded, she could hear them, smell them, almost SEE them. But not quite. Play them like a drum. was all that went through her mind. So, nonchalantly, she went on to carefully clean her paws, making sure that her claws were fully retracted and shimmering slightly in the sunlight. Then, she drew a fake yawn, with her mouth agape, it was easy to see her large, razor sharp canines. Kiya then stretched, her muscled rippling under her pelt. Sure that her attributes had been properly displayed, she sat down once more, her large tail swaying brush back and forth with only a slight noise of protest of the leaves at her feet. Suddenly, a wolf barreled through the brush, clearly brave enough to not be intimidated by her "show" and was ready to take her down. Kiya's gaze lazily drawled to the character, a slight tingle creeping through her veins like electricity. Adrenaline, her favorite companion, had finally decided to join her.

Graal slides to a stop in front of Kiya, panting from the sprint. "Vosh spir es en dag!" he barks, then shakes his head, speaking in the local language. "Your life is in danger if you go any further!" he growls, out of breath.
He takes a moment to calm himself down, then looks carefully at the she-wolf, noting her clean pelt, stretched over muscle and form, her long, sharp teeth. "You're not from around here, are you?" He asks, eyes narrowing.

Kiya looked at the wolf with the strange language, trying her best not to glare. This wolf had held her from a fight, which did not make her happy. But, then again, it would probably not be a good impression if she killed on of these wolves. She rolled her shoulders, days of travel had grown kinks in them. "No, I'm not." She said, not bothering to take a step forwards. Kiya was not dumb, she new she couldn't take down an entire pack, and fighting on most likely meant fighting all. So, instead of pressing her dominance, and her luck, she relaxed slightly to show she meant no harm, though, it was only slightly. "I'm not from here at all, and I've come a long way looking for something." She said in a monotonous voice.

((You realise you can post in more than one thread at a time, yes?))
Graal smiles, the expression coming easily even as he notices her suppressed glare. Many a time had he recieved a similar look from prospective mates. He sighs,"What have I done to deserve such a look from her" he wonders. "It's okay, I've not long been here myself." he says, as if this might reassure her that he wouldn't look down on her, "Besides, she's looking down on me anyway." he muses. "You came searching for a pack to accept you?" asks, sighing. "Well, regardless, shouldn't you have waited for a pack-member to approach you before barrelling in like that?" Graal pauses for a moment, then shakes his head, "Forget I said that, I'm not exactly one to talk. What are you looking for?"

((Oh, so you DO allowed liquid time. Cool.))
Her answer was short, curt. The nicest thing Kiya was likely to get with another wolf. She then realized, maybe she even pitied the wolf? He has clearly been sent through his paces, by mates as well as life. So, she easily wiped the glare from her face and said, "Yes, I am. I'm looking for a strong pack, a good fight, and the thing I've been questing for as long as I can remember." With that, a chuckle escaped her, as if what she said was humorous in her view. "Do you know when a higher rank will be able to attend to me?" She asked, in a slightly bored tone. With that, she finally took a step forward, leaning into her first step she easily lifted herself from the ground. As she approached, she was sizing him up, though, it wasn't noticeable He looked as though he would be able to handle himself, though, his years of experience were most likely wearing on him. She slowly began to walk around him in a lazy circle at a relaxed gate. "So, what do they call you?" She asked, hinting that she wasn't about to give out her name without a name in return.

Graal stiffens as she begins to circle him, but refuses to allow his body to show fear, instead, he circles around with her, playing along as if it were a game. "I was Graal of the Otonami Clan far to the west of here, now I am just Graal, a Kerl, you are? Oh, and unfortunately I can't tell you when the leaders of the pack that holds this territory will see you, if they decide to, anyway." he sizes her up, making his motions obvious, "You say you are looking for a fight? There are plenty of wildcats and bears, Druin too, why seek to join a pack where duties detract from freedom?" he asks, his eyes searching hers for any truth in her answer.
